This company has reported incorrect information to ****, so I am now no longer able to be employed by them. As others have said, Im having the same issue with no response after being slandered by them. This is an awful reporting company and I really wish employers would stop using them. I applied to ***** for employment. I was given a driver position. However , base on the information from SAMBA SAFETY. THE POSITION WAS LATER WITHDRAWN BASE ON THIER REPORT. I have tried many many times to reach them to fine out what information they have pertaining to my records. I have not gotten a response. This company is reporting that my license is expired, but it absolutely is NOT expired. I have submitted to them a photo of my license to prove this, and I have also gotten a copy of my MVR directly from the *** that shows that my license is valid. Their website claims that they will investigate discrepancies between their reports and the state database. However, when I submitted a request that they do so, they responded that they could not re-run my MVR, which I was NOT asking them to do in the first place. I was asking them to investigate the discrepancy between their existing report on my license status and reality as reflected in state ********* which their website specifically states they can and will do. My license is absolutely not expired, and their failure to accurately report that is negatively affecting my livelihood. I have now filed a second dispute in which I clarify that I am asking them to investigate their inaccurate report on my license status, and now I have to wait even longer before I can return to work. I fear that will just happen again this time around. I kindly request that the business provide a commitment to address the actual question asked (why the business's report that they already ran does not match my official state ********* and also a commitment that the business will view and consider the documentary evidence submitted through BBB.

This 3rd Party Background check business used out dated license information to run a background check. The current license was already submitted nearly 11 months ago but this company used outdated information. Background check failed for expired license upon contacting **** was found that Samba Safety used the incorrect information to run the check. Ive had 2 background checks ran by Checkr over the last year which both passed using the current relevant information. Samba safety has no point of contact for handling issues. The customer service email is completely automated and gives a standard response no matter that the question in matter is. The customer service line when called gives you 4 different options. When you call them they all refer you to their website to file disputes not talk to a person. The background checking system doesnt notify or provide information on whether or not your new background check is being processed. And even if it is Id like to know that they are running the new check with the most current documentation. I have been out of work for 5 days now with no idea if my problem is even being addressed. This company is going to make my family homeless. They should be ashamed of themselves. Their lack of service ***** real families and not even a real person to address these issues with. If this goes on for 5 more days Ill be having to live out of my car. I hope someone starts a class action lawsuit against this company because Im all in. They are going to make me lose everything. Sambasafety has failed to properly resolve my mvr dispute.They sent me this email acting like it never existed.Hello ******,Thank you for submitting a dispute with ********************* regarding your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Only way to get their attention is with negative feedback here apparently. I talked to ***** and ************ PD both said there was no law in ************** that makes a ******* Frivibg citation disqualify from a rideshare delivery service. This would make my deactivation from **** illegal and probably a lawsuit worthy case. I will go as far to get that written by the cops themselves.This is wasting my time and frustrating me and this company seems to be dodging questions and avoiding ***** HR manager at my day job was even puzzled by the fact that nobody could be reached even via phone at this **********'s a shame that the only way to get any attention here is to be mean and post a complaint. I'm a valid driver with no criminal *************** denied my background check due to outdated information. Not up to date or easy to dispute, Samba incorrectly fails potential drivers without explaining the problem until they give all of their personal information to a random website. Somba safety ran my background check and it failed for **** because of an outdated License that ********************** used to run my background check. It failed because of an old expired ID from a state I havent resided in over 2 years. I had updated my drivers license prior to their running of my background check. So why did Samba Safety use and expired drivers license to run my background ?? Your company has no way of updating IDs similar to how Checkr works. Because of this, Im unable to get approved for ****. Ive been driving for them for 7 years and not once have I ever failed a background for them. samba Safety should be ashamed. Reading all these complaints because of their poor infrastructure and technology. You need to fix what youve done to so many peoples background checks. I have reached out to an attorney and will be filing a case against Samba Safety.Business Response

This company is reporting erroneous and outdated information about customers driving records to specific employers such as **** and others. They have not phone number you can call to dispute the information. They tell you to fill out a form and when they get back to you they dont do a proper check of facts. Samba did a false background check. It said my license is not active. So that is making it to where I can't drive. That is FALSE!! I went in to mvd today, 7-22-24, and they said everything was GREEN on my license and it was clear. My license is ACTIVE. I got a 39 month MVR and it clearly shows my license is active. Why is samba not doing correct checks?? You're asking for a class action suit. Big time. Please fix this issue immediately.Business Response
