My baby was transported to another hospital for NICU purposes the day he was born. I have provided AMR with our insurance information several times now, including both myself and my insurance company calling them directly to provide the requested information and proof of insurance (at first they tried to tell me my baby was not covered at the time) however I continue to receive bills with the note of no insurance information on file or that they cant find my insurance. I have never had this issue with any other service/provider and had we known it would be this much of a hassle we would have transported our baby ourselves.

After speaking with 2 different billing representatives about confusion on my account, the second representative was clearly frustrated that I had follow up questions. It was apparent that the representative was not happy with having to answer questions or concerns that I had. At one point in the call, I was told that I would have to "figure it out, I guess." After calling a third representative, they were able to address the concerns that I had. Overall, this was a bad look for the organization. The last representative I spoke with deserves to work for a better organization.

This company is awful!! They have never billed my *********************** I have talked to them twice. They are saying insurance paid $498 of the $2,962 even though it has NEVER shown up on a statement and 2 people at insurance said they never billed them?? Our small town first responders charged about $500 and actually provided her care! These clowns just had to transfer back to nursing facility with no care!! Basically giving her a ride. Shouldve called UBER!!! When I call to complain I got a very rude women in another country that I could barely understand! Worst service ever. How do they get away with this? Isnt this industry regulated???

The bill from AMR for 20 min ride to the hospital was $2,750. AMR are in the network with my insurance, ****, which used Aenta Signature network at that time, so the patients portion should be $141, according to **** ***, that would be paid by the patient toward the deductible. I called AMR billing department multiple times on behalf of the patient, who was fully disabled, they kept telling me there were not in network with Aetna. Finally, I arranged the conference call between **** and AMR, at that the AMR rep -reluctantly - confirmed that they do have the contract with ****, and the **** representative told the AMR rep that they are prohibited from sending the bill for the full amount to this patient. 2 weeks later we received the same bill - for $ 2750. Finally we got a call from the collector. As another **** rep suggested we sent them the check for $141 with the *** enclosed. They returned the check. When I called the collector, since the patient doesnt vocalize, they refused taking to me .

Foremost, the care I received was subpar. While I'm writhing in pain, the lead EMS took it upon herself to have an impromptu quiz for the training Fireman that were there. "What would you do next for this patient?", etc... ugh!!! My insurance will cover my $1,300 Ambulance trip in full, but getting AMR to actually submit anything is certainly harder than it should be. An agent from my insurance company called and gave them ALL the information they could possibly need to receive their money. but they didn't file a claim and kept sending me emails and texts excessively. Once again, a different insurance agent called them (while I was also on the phone to hear everything) AMR stated that they didn't bill the correct insurance the first time. So, once again, my agent provided ALL information to AMR. Guess what? AMR still hasn't filed a claim and is still billing me. It appears they don't have anyone working for them that is equipped to take down numbers/insurance info and make a claim. This has been going on for a year. After several requests for a paper bill, I finally did receive one of those! I will submit to my insurance, but AMR wants their money in 17 days... insurance processing takes *****. I swear I will crawl over broken glass to get to a hospital before I ever use the services of AMR again!

Zero stars . We hope to never see an AMR vehicle at anyones place ever. The clowns who drive thru Amherst late at night early morning are the main reason why . We're guessing all the local rejects who think they are first responders end up there .

I was a victim of harassment and discrimination for several months while employed at this company at the ******** location. I was consistently bullied for being disabled, and racial jokes were commonplace in the workplace. This company is abhorrently unethical. I scheduled a meeting to discuss the harassment with the ** and HR and was conveniently fired 2 days before the meeting.
