I filed a claim in August of 2023 for a leak under my slab. I called customer service and was told they would open a claim. They did and told me I could use anyone to make repairs. So I did that, had pictures, gave them bids, even had the plumber speak to them twice. We were told the claim was denied due to "the repairs being made without authorization". I called and at first people were very helpful and gave me hope that something would be done to help because why do all the work, but when it comes to replacing the pipe to fix it, we have to hold off on that for days?? Did not make sense. So I spoke to several managers but **** was my primary. He fully understood the situation and said I will see what I can do about getting you a "good will" payment. I told him, I was not looking for the $4,300 that I paid, but if I could get $250 or so, I would feel that Armis listened to me and we would just move on. I waited 3 weeks, no response back. Sent 3 emails, no response. Called 3 times for status, was told "they are still reviewing". I did not get a call back again so I called today and was told that "we cannot do a good will payment to you because of the wear and tear of the pipe". I told them, I was originally told it was denied for repairing it, but now, I am being told it was wear and tear. I feel I was just given the run around. I was professional in every call. I calmly explained my position as I am doing here. I just wanted to speak to someone and have them explain why it was really denied and why a good will gesture (given the years I have been with them) was not even a consideration. I just feel the system they have is set up to create a time consuming process to hinder people from getting answers, being able to file an appeal or get resolution. I would still be open to hearing from anyone and I am sincerely requesting the BBB assist in this matter.Armis LLC

I would give 0 stars if possible. We were lied to and ran around. Do not trust anything they say. They will find a way to deny any claim you submit. Save the money you would pay them. They have lied from the moment we signed up and cost us alot of money we dont have. They are a scam and they should not be in business. Please ban together to shut their company down. Their dtealing our money literally. They should be ashamed if what they are doing to hard working people just trying to get by.Armis LLC

My mother has been without air conditioning for 5 weeks now and has gone through due process with Armis and has yet to get a resolution. Your company has been lacked total respect and consideration for your customer and for the fact that she is older and has health conditions. The temperatures in Georgia have been in the mid to high 90's with heat index even higher. She even got a 2nd opinion and submitted a letter on September 7th to Armis from the **** directly explaining everything that caused the unit to fail and we have yet to receive a phone call from a manager/underwriter/adjuster etc as requested on numerous occasions. We are so tired of hearing that Armis tries to state that rust is a reason to not pay claims for **** concerns. READ YOUR CONTRACT AS IT IS WRITTEN......PAGE 3 OF 16 LETTER A. OVERVIEW 3. Coverage under this contract excluded malfunctions of covered ITEMS, which occur during the CONTRACT TERM resulting from the following situations prior to or during the CONTRACT TERM:************, corrosion, or sediment, unless specially covered (e.g. properly maintained water heaters)Does Armis not understand how this reads? It states that if rust is the result/reason for malfunction. The rust seen on the coil is surface rust and does not affect then workmanship of the unit. Armis cannot decipher the way they have written their own contracts. It really relates to water heaters in situations where people have let the unit sit in water not realizing there was an issue or not addressing it in a timely manner. That is not the case with this ****. **************** explained this thoroughly. The fact that your company continues to avoid reaching out to my mother, myself or **************** for further discussion only confirms one thing...Armis is trying to get out of approving and paying this claim. WHY SHOULD ANYONE PAY FOR A WARRANTY WITH YOUR COMPANY OR YOUR AFFILIATES? We would love to discuss this claim with Armis management or their decision makers. 9/18/23Armis LLC

Home Safe/ Armis You dont have an online account set up with them. You have to call your claim in. You dont receive a email about the status of your claim. I had 2 claims filed. The first claim I was told they will send and electronic pay through email. Never received. I called to tell them that. Then the stated we will mail them a check and it will take 14 days. After 14 days still havent received the check. The claimed they sent another check. We went through the same thing. The people who fixed issues we had never got paid. So I had to pay them out of my pocket plus this company is receiving a monthly payment every month. You ask to talk to a manager. You have to wait 2 days. Do not purchase this warranty.Armis LLC

1 starThis company is a joke. We filed a claim because our air conditioner went out in 100 degree weather. We contacted the company with no results. They were sent all the information they requested. We had to call back 3 times to see why we had not heard from them only to be told it was in review. The last time we contacted them they said a representative would contact us in 1 hour. We have never received a call back and it has been 4 hours. Meanwhile we have no air conditioning. The policy we have is worthless. We have had the policy for 6 months, always paid on time, and this is the first claim we have ever filed. Meanwhile we still have no air conditioning after waiting for 2 days to try to resolve this. My ** unit failed, on 110 degree day,in July.I contacted Armis,and told them what had happen. My wife and I are senior citizens. I was told by the Armis representative,since this was an emergency,we could pay to get it fixed right away,and they would get reimbursed us. I was told all they would need was a copy of the invoice,pictures and the work and cost that was done by the ** technician. I sent in pictures of parts (this ** technician did a thorough test and t/s to find the failure). The pictures that were sent showed were the ** technician had taken the the entire ** unit apart. He found that the compressor was bad. After replacing the compressor,and putting the unit back together,it ran fine. Some of the parts in the picture had rust on them. I was told my claim was denied because of rust. My explanation to them,since the compressor has many internal parts inside to operate,how can you justify rust as the failure. I sent new pictures with the ** running fine now,with some of those same rusted parts that were in the picture. My ** units sits outside,and it's over 15 years old. During that amount of time sitting in outside in that environments,rust is going to develop. My son ** unit failed a week before mines,and they declined his claim with the same explanation,**** was the failure.Armis LLC

I paid this fraudulent company for over 6 months and when I needed my central air unit repaired they sent myself and the certified technician through so many loopholes for over a month to call and say that the repair was denied. Please do not give this company your hard earned money and I want to be refunded.Armis LLC

Do not waste your hard earn money buying a warranty form HomeSafe and Armis LLC. They will take your money and not do any repairs. My A/C went out on 7/1/23 I contacted Armis LLC to file a claim. They gave me the run around for 4 weeks. I gave them all the documents that they requested. On 7/28/23 they finally notified me that my claim was denied due to rust on my compressor. I'm really at a loss for words. Anything that sits in the element will rust. I want the money I spent on this contract for 3 years back. I would really like to be part of a class action lawsuit against the company. I give this company ZERO star. They don't deserve any star from me.Armis LLC

HomeSafe and Armis are not firms you want to deal with. HomeSafe is just the marketing firm. No commitment to a quality repair. They know nothing of the product.Armis is just an incoming call center. They do not followup on calls nor followup to be sure a job has been done correctly.I sent in my estimate to repair my A/C on Monday about noon. Still waiting for a response on Wednesday at 5:30pm.No one cares about their product. DO NOT USE HOMESAFE or ARMIS. You are warned!Armis LLC
