I have a contract (SR211352) with HomeSafe and our well died over the weekend. We live out in the country with horses and cattle. Water is very important to us and to our ranch so I contacted HomeSafe. They approved my well contractor to see what the issue was. The pump was not functioning so I had him replace the pump ASAP. I submitted the invoice and they said it was not detailed enough so I had my contractor resubmit the invoice in greater detail. When he sent the final invoice in to the person he spoke with was asked if he knew the cause of the pump failure. She first said it was covered and asked him if it might had been a power line surge. He said it was possible but there was no way to know with any certainty what caused the pump to fail. If it was a power line surge other electrical components on my property would have failed as well. So, after bating my well contractor into the answer she needed they denied my claim. If you go with this company you are a fool. Stay away.HomeSafe

Homesafe is a scam. Stay away. They claim you only pay 100 for any repair but they send repairman in waves and you have to pay all of these up front and to get our ac fixed we were going to end up paying 2400 out of pocket and then they would decide if they were going to cover it and reimburse us. We would not need homesafe I'd we could afford to do that and they know it. It was a big waste of my money don't waste yours. If you have it cancel it now.HomeSafe

In most instances, HomeSafe has been a reliable source for repairs on my home. My last repair/replacement request seems to be taking a little longer than usual. After a couple of follow up phone calls on my part the problem is close to being resolved.HomeSafe

Not even 1 would be enough to rate this scam company. Over a pipe leak, they twisted and turned to push me hire a company submit their quote. I shopped for them submitted three companies quote, and spent 3 days to have their adjuster rudely, inconsidrate of the hard work on me, giving them half quote of others, denied me over ridiculous reason. This is a disappointment in the line of home warranty insurance having companies like this.HomeSafe

I think this company is a scam. I submitted a claim on 6-13-24 because it wasnt any air or heat blowing out of the vents in my house, claim# SR180635. I paid $98 for a diagnostic done by a company I found on thumbtack because the company Homesafe sent me never showed up. They told me I needed a blower motor and it was $2100 because I had an older model furnace and the parts were higher, they then emailed the estimate to me and Homesafe as instructed. Me and the **** company who gave the estimate both constantly called Homesafe for 2 weeks straight trying to get my claim approved, while I was at work might I add and Homesafe kept coming up with excuse after excuse saying the email they sent wasnt in the right format and they needed more information, I asked to talk to a supervisor multiple times within these 2 weeks and they always said one wasnt available and they would have one call but they never did. Once we finally got the right format and all the information they needed the claim was approved but only for $500 of the $2100 they were charging, once again I asked for a supervisor to better explain why the full amount wasnt approved and I got the same result. I then asked Homesafe can I get an estimate from another company because I cant afford to pay $1600. Ive been actively calling other **** companies and explaining my blower motor problem so I dont have to pay another diagnostic fee and end up with same result, Ive found better rates but no one I called deals with this company. Its been almost 2 months now and Ive been without my central air conditioning all summer. I havent gotten a call or email to check on my status and Homesafe also has gotten 2 more monthly payments out of my account and theyre not even honoring what Im paying them for. I urgently have to get this matter resolved ASAP because I can live without air in the summer but not without heat in the winter.HomeSafe

They willingly take your money and find a reason to not repair anything if or when it breaks. This is one of the worst experiences I've had doing business with any company and I would not recommend them to anyone for anything. The ** went out in the middle of the summer and they said sense they took forever to come look at it and we had someone come do a temporary fix so we wouldn't die from heat stroke while waiting they said sense we tried to fix it that voids the contract.HomeSafe

HomeSafe and their underwriter Armis are a rip-off. Home safe comes across as being customer service oriented, but once you file a repair claim it goes to ***** which will find every possible way to deny your claim. They have lied to me about not receiving information when I filed the claim and apparently they had never looked at all of the claim because it was all there with photos. They would always ask for more information, explanation of why appliance failed (it was an older AC unit and was worn out), photos, etc. They had me contact the certified technician and company for them to submit written reasons for the failure and more photos. The company had already given compressor and fan failure and the age of the unit. It got to the point that the company and tech would not return my calls nor send documentation because they said the warranty company will keep asking for stuff and do everything they can to prevent paying. Same thing with the 2nd company I contacted for estimate. I was denied on the claim. When I filed a claim with our clothes washer. I couldn't find a repairman that would work with Home warranty companies for appliance repair. They DID work with service contract warranty like you would purchase through Lowes, etc. I fixed it myself the first time but a year later the board went out (I paid for a repair tech to evaluate problem and quote for repair). Wound up buying a new washer because I knew ***** would do nothing. I had issues trying to cancel contract as well. I would NEVER recommend HomeSafe or especially Armis as they are a rip-off. I wasted over a thousand dollars on a contract that wasn't worth the paper it was written on and paying for service calls that were denied by *****. Save your money up for repairs yourself and don't waste it on HomeSafe and Armis.HomeSafe
