I cancelled my contract, HWF4795590, yesterday. My claim was submitted through HomeSafe's contract administrator, Armis, on 07/08/24. Soon after submitting claim, I received an email from Armis, and another 3rd party Thumbtack, stating I would be hearing from a service provider soon.Days went by and no call from a service provider so I contacted Armis regarding my service request SR191982. During that phone call, I was not impressed with unprofessionalism by the Armis representative even though she was helpful in getting in touch with the service provider by ***** and their 3rd party THUMBTACK. After being on hold for several minutes, I was informed I would be receiving a call from the service provider selected by Thumbtack. On 07/26/24, the day arranged for an appointment with the service provider, I did receive a call from provider. During the call we both found that somewhere in the inept HomeSafe chain, he was provided with an incorrect name and address. Service provider then informed me he would have to clarify information with Armis before proceeding with service request. Well after the arranged time, I called Armis back to check the status of my service request. After several minutes my call was answered by an Armis ********* then contacted the service provider. I was then informed that service provider picked by ********* does not work with warranty companies, and changed his mind. After asking then why was that service provider pick. I got a very unprofessional response! I found HomeSafe, Armis, and Thumbtack to be a very rude and unprofessional Group!!! They know how to TAKE your money but they DON"T know how to provide proper and professional service!! I then cancelled my contract!

To be honest, I literally paid $200 to the HomeSafe Guarantee scammers!I filed a claim with the HomeSafe. They explicitly ask me What Happened? with the equipment (CIT365KM THM 36" Induction cooktop SL Masterpiece 5 BRNR,4600W and the 30" Speed Combination Oven 800 Series Stainless Steel HBL8751UC only the bottom part for the single oven HB8454UC), and I explained clearly it was an accident with my old 83-year-old mother. Two pieces of equipment failed: the cooktop and the in-wall oven at the bottom. When the ceramic cooktop broke, she attempted to move the pad, and a lot of water got all over the kitchen. The oven had an electrical short circuit, and smoke was all over the kitchen. My mother was all wet, so I ran to cut off the electricity.I explained all of this to a HomerSafe customer service representative. She insisted on sending a technician to do an evaluation for $65 for the visit. She only found a company far away from my location, and they charge $100, and she cannot send me a list of companies that work with them in my location. The representative says they will refund $35 if the claim is approved, and she does not have and cannot sent me a list of technicians in my area. In the next few days, some appeared in my house from Matrix Appliances Repair; I asked how this claim process works and if they had experience working in HomeSafe; of course, they have a lot of experience. The result was that water damage was not covered by the warranty, and I had to spend 200 dollars because it was not for $100 the visit; It was $100 for equipment.I literally pay $200 dollars to be honest with them. They knew from the beginning it was water damaged, and they know that it was not covered under the warranty, but still HomeSafe sent the technician. This HomeSafe warranty is a legal scam. Well, the first time I had to use this sham of a warranty, HomeSafe contract Number HWF5052813, their excuse was "Not covered due to water damage"

This company is horrible. They lie and play switch the meaning of a failed HVAC system. When the condenser fail, it means the unit no longer cools. But they say it's not covered. Do not waste your time or money. Read the reviews, they don't fix anything. *** and lie and lie just to get you enrolled. Home safe warranty AKA Armis home warranty is a SCAM.

Well the first time my father had to use this sham of a warranty of course their excuse was that the part was not covered. They requested a leak test which we had done. His AC has to be replaced because of leaks one is outside unit and one inside the unit (the unit I am talking about is the house). Their excuse was that they saw rust and corrosion in that area from the pictures and that he not covered for rust an corrosion. well how do you see rust or corrosion from inside the unit ? and the leak on the out side of the unit there was no corrosion/rust on the pipe just the on tray from where the water would drip on to. thank you for nothing

They sold my 93 year old father in law a policy for $500. He has no idea what it is for and didn't purchase it. Pathetic company.

About 15 years ago, we had to take out a reverse mortgage on our house. At that time, I believe I remember signing for a home warranty. My mistake then was not totally understanding the terms of the mortgage agreement. I wish I'd known then what I know now. During these 15 years, we've never used the warranty (or even remembered that we had a warranty!). We have lived in the house for a total of 55 years and have always paid for any repairs which were needed. I think most homeowners will agree that this is part of the deal. For the past 5 years, we have been receiving letters from HomeSafe, all trying to SCARE us into renewing the contract (which is not required by the mortgage company). Unfortunately, in most cases insurance is a necessity. I'd like to say "most insurance companies" but will have to settle for some insurance companies resort to slimy, sneaky methods to rope in customers. If you are not reading and understanding the letters from HomeSafe, they make it appear that the warranty is required. I'm not saying that all home warranty companies are crooked, but please make sure you read their correspondence carefully.

******************** Home Safe/Armis claims, I filed a claim to have my GE Dishwasher repaired. I put in claim on 2/29/2024. I changed service to Home Safe because I thought they were better, had better services and customer care. Armis found a Service Provider - Tyrell Appliances in *********, **. I paid this Service Provided $65 per my Service Contract with Home Safe/Armis. ********************** came and assets the problem. He checked the electrical cord and stated that it was some kind of box needs to be replaced. He would have to order the part and the part would be mailed to my home. He had me to sign a document (I thought was for the $65 Service Fee) as it turns out it stated that the work was completed. ****** did state that he did not have the funds readily available to purchase the box and would have Armis pay for it. Not knowing that this was a statement for completion of the work. When I tried to contact ****** Appliances he would not respond to any of my calls or messages. I then contacted ***** to request my $65 back, they in-turn tried to call him on a 3-way call (3 different occasions). He answer for them and when they told him that they were connecting me to the call he told them he was on a job and hung-up. He would call me later. To-date I have not heard from him. Escalated to a Manager 2-3 times at Armis. They were suppose to call me back within ***** hours. I didn't hear from the escalation Team until today. To only be told that I have to find my own Service Provider or Pay for the Service Provider and they would reimburse me and pay for the $65 service fee. As I stated to the Manager I purchase the Home Warranty so I wouldn't have to pay up front. I was paying for service and I wouldn't be out-of-pocket for repairs. If they cannot assist me, requested them to pay for a new dishwasher or reimburse my $65. They have the worst service and follow-up. NO Service Provider in my area wants to work with them!!!!
