I had to file my first claim with HomeSafe because my water heater quit outputting hot water. The water heater had to be replaced. HomeSafe refused to reimburse me stating they do not cover anything over 12 years. I just bought my house one year ago and thought I was getting good home warranty protection for all my electrical appliances. I highly recommend stay away from HomeSafe.HomeSafe

I already have 3 strikes against me; I am a widow, senior citizen, and cancer patient who recently had to go back to work to make ends meet. At least, since I have been making monthly payments to HomeSafe for a home warranty program you would cover the labor cost. I am not sure about the age of the water heater since the previous owner did not leave a manual with the house. How difficult is it to pay for the labor of installation of my new water heater? No, instead HomeSafe denied the entire claim.Review fromManorath N

This Company is not worth earning any ratings. This company does do nothing once you file a claim. They know how to charge your account/card for premiums , but if you call them after you file a claim every customer representative have different information to give you about your claim making you tired of calling them and at the meantime they deny your claim. They dont want to pay for anything, just take customers money. Be aware if you are planning to get warranty from them.HomeSafe

Complete sham. I have made two claims. One on a gas dryer and one for my hot water tank. Both claims denied and it took 8 days or more for them to get back to you. Customer service is terrible, and basically the coverage only covers things that a normal warranty would cover. Do not pay money to this company for anything.HomeSafe

Placed a claim for AC Unit that stopped working and I have to say armisticio is the worst people you can deal with, distespectful, and show no emphaty when people are going through a hard time and besides that they do absolutely nothing to help and just dragged our claim for over 2 weeks and counting and still asking for more and more information. I would never recommend this company to my worst enemy. Scammers but this is not the end we will be contacting our attorneys on this one and I would suggest everyone lookout for a class action lawsuit!!!HomeSafe

Bought this service 3 months ago. Called to request a repair on a wall outlet. The person I spoke with was very nice and helpful. When I called my local electrical contractors and was told they do not deal with this company. Tried to call back, on hold too long. Chose to have them call me back. That never happened. I am feed up with this company and am cancelling this service .Days have passed no word from them. I would not recommend them to anyone. ******************HomeSafe

3 starsMy mom was contacted by Homesafe/Armis and offered service that she understood to be compatible to or better than her previous home warranty company. This perception is based off the information from the company's website, "Get HomeSafe and you won't pay for costly home covered repairs again. Appliance, electrical and even plumbing repairs are all bundled into affordable monthly payments." She She needed their services for her dishwasher. So she contacted the company to file a claim and was told that she (my mom) would have to contact a provider, this is where things are different for her, she was accustomed to filing a claim and the company would contact a provider, who then would contact my mom to schedule an appointment. When the provider arrived a service fee would be paid and the work would be performed. The customer service agent with whom my mom spoke with was very courteous and helpful. She made the call for my mom. This is where the issues begin, the provider she contacted arrived as scheduled. But after being there and diagnosing the issues informed my mom and then me when I contacted him that he doesn't deal with insurance companies when he was asked to provide the requested information to the company. So basically I will say that everyone that I had a telephone conversation with was professional and courteous. The company did provide automated email messages confirming receipt of information submitted. The complaint is that the services as a home warranty company are not accurate as perceived from their website. Their responses on this site clearly contradict what their website offers. We have chose to end our contract with them and I will say that the customer service representative made offers to resolve the issues and even reduce the monthly premium and rectify issues. Unfortunately, we are not willing to test the waters.Review fromMIKE P

1 starI give them a 00. They did absolutely nothing for us. They were out three times. The first time in April of 22, they did take care of a plumbing problem with the new faucet. The second time was in June of 22 when we had our heat wave, and our A/C went out. I called and filed a claim. I had told them what happened, and they needed more documentation from the A/C company. The ** of service came out, and said it could be a surge, coil, or a free-on line. He Emailed his findings and I got a call from Home Safe and they rejected my claim. And said it was a power surge and rejected my claim. The third incident happened on Tuesday, December 20th. Our Water Heater started to leak and there was water on the garage floor. I called Home Safe and filed a claim. At this time the person taking the claim informed me that if the water heater was under 10 years old it would be covered. I had to call 2 more times with questions and each individual told me the same thing that the water heater was covered. They made no mention and I repeat no mention, that if there was still a warranty on it, they wouldnt help me out at all. I wanted to get the Water Heater taken care of because were about to have freezing temps under 10 deg the next day. I then submitted my papers and documentation to Home Safe for their review. They called me and said there was nothing they can do. In conclusion., I called Home Safe yesterday to tell them I want to cancel. The gal (*****) I talked to was very, very rude. She said it was all documented. from the label on the the water heater, and the letter from the ** company. I feel like I've been jerked around. And, well, never. and I mean never do business with them again. And for everyone's information. who reads this. When I had the water heater problem. I called home safe. But instead. I got Car Shield. And come to find out. Car Shield and Home Safe. Are in the same building. So that's another reason why I just don't trust them.Review fromVicki V

1 starIve placed 3 claims with HomeSafe/Armis. First for my dishwasher. Homesafe/Armis were unable to find us a service provider and gave us $300 to find one.I then placed a claim on my clothes washer and needed them to find a service provider. Somehow the only people calling are thru Angis list and they arent connected to the warranty. Ive heard nothing from HomeSafe. My washer is still broke. Claim 3-my furnace went out. We are in *********. Its cold. Repairman came and said motor was out and heat exchanger is failing. Time for a new furnace. Claim department wont approve the claim unless they see pictures of the heat exchanger. We had the motor put in so we would have heat. They wont pay for the motor because in their words its like putting tires on a broken car. They need pictures of the heat exchanger. Service man advised that getting pictures is impossible as it would mean dismantling furnace thats dying. Nonetheless they came out and spent a couple of hours here; got some pictures of rings blown off the heat exchanger but not a clear picture of the heat exchanger because there are wood boiler components in the way. So the rings blown off has assured the claims department that the heat exchanger is bad. But they want a clear picture of the heat exchanger to look for rust or corrosion which would automatically deny the claim. The only way to get a clear picture is to wait until the old furnace is removed and the new furnace installed. So in essence, we are on our own to get a new furnace with no real answers as to claim payment. They wont pay for the motor $700 and are looking to get out of paying for a heat exchanger. The point of the warranty for us was to locate service providers and give us peace of mind. None of that had happened.Review fromalbert w

1 starIf there was a ZERO stars option for this company I would have given it to them. They are one of the worst home warranty companies I have ever dealt with. I'm in real estate business and I have refered various home warranty companies to my clients. HomeSafe is the ABSOLUTE NO! do not ever use this company. Stay away from them like the ebola virus. They will refused to authorize to pay for *********** service. they will keep delay and delaying till you decide to cancel your warranty and they will keep your monthly service fees that they charged you. In the end you will end up in the hole paying for the trip charge and still having a broken down applaince.Review fromJay F
