      I rented storage space at red dot storage in march i was homeless and needed somewhere to keep my belongings. i was going to start new job at ************** in april. I had to keep my work equipment in storage until i could find apartment. My job had sent my work equipment early so i had no choice but to keep it in storage. Also i had in storage all of my clothes, and everything me and my daughter had. I finally secured apartment and moved in June 16th. I went to Red Dot storage on june 17th around 9 am. The main security gate was wide open for anyone to enter. I went to the my storage unit which was unit 362, the unit was wide open. the lock had been removed and the only thing left was a heating pad and a sheet. I have i idea when this happened? They never contacted me to tell me there was an issue with my storage? i find out when i think i am going there to pick up my stuff to move to my apartment. Of course no one was in the office to talk to about the incident. I called the 800 they took incident report on June 17, i have not heard a word from anyone. I feel like this incident happened a while ago and no never notified me, they kept taking my money. I was paying for the unit on autopay. I feel like i was paying $40 monthly on a empty storage unit!! How is it possible something like this can happen. My employer is holding me responsible for the stolen equipment. I have no money to pay for replacement equipment. I have reported the incident to the ******** ************ and I have also submitted a claim with the insurance company.

      I currently have 4 units with Red Dot Storage located at ******************************************************************************************. I'm paying extra for climate controlled units (A3, A9, C13, C14). For the last 2 months the air conditioning has not been working. It is extremely hot inside the ************* specific units. I have called at least 3 or 4 times in the last 2 months to the Red Dot Storage number ************ to complain about the temperature in the building. Each time they tell me that it will be taken care of. On June 14th, I spoke to someone to register another complaint. They stated that the vendor had a note saying that it should be fixed in a couple of days. On Sunday, June 18th, I went to my unit to get some things and the a/c is still not working. It was incredibly hot in the building. When I walked outside, it was much cooler than inside. I took a screenshot of my weather app on my phone showing that the current temperature was 96 with a feel like temp of 111. That was cooler than the inside of the building!!I was able to get my rent reduced by 50% for the month of June on my 4 units. I recently sold my house and all of my things are in storage. I'm paying for climate controlled units so my things won't ruin in the heat. When I called Red Dot Storage on the 14th to complain once again about the a/c no working, I told them that if my things got ruined because of the a/c not working, that I was going to *** them for damages.The main outcome that I'd like to see is to have the a/c working properly. I would also like to get 50% of my rent for the month of May credited to my account and for the month of July to be 50% as well. I'd like to have all of my money back for **** ************ but I doubt that will happen.

      I rented two units and have tried to pay my bill but need to make two separate smaller payments (2units) they would not except any payment other than the full accont ******** (both units) at once I sent emails called and have ytied to make accont in good standing they locked my units and delayed and are claiming deflate when have tried to take care of this the units contain everything I own including everything I have of my father's who passed from cancer I have been in a wreck since and hurt buy electric working on my sister's house and down a few days I had this taken care of but due to there not accepting my payment in multiple payments for multiple units they are trying to keep my stuff and refusing to let me get the accounts in good standing unless payed in full in one payment when to start there are multiple units this is unfair and un professional I would have paid in full one payment but the day I was suppst to sell washer and dryer and bring them full payment they locked the units where I could not access less than 20 days late according to them and stoped sale I don't know where else to turn I can get what is owed but the are being unreasonable about accepting payments in legitimate form 2 units two payments each if I need to run 3 cards and pay rest in cash shouldn't be a issue that is 4 separate payments but they are trying to confiscate my belongings unless 1 payment has to be something about refusal of payment on there pare this can't be legle was teo units one 100 and one 117 dollers payment the next isntt due yet but my property has been locked and they demand payment in full and this months payments before unlocking only one month is due the next payments are the 21 and 25 I think and they have had this locked and keep me from multiple sales that would have brought these into good standinghank you plz help ***************************

      Gave a 30 day notice for move out of a storage unit and then also submitted information on their website. The actual day that was moved out and unit was cleaned and emptied 21 days later they still have not had someone go and review it and are now trying to charge us again this month

      My unit was broken into three times down in ********. The insurance company was called. And they refuse to pay the insurance money out because he said it looked like it had not been a force entry. I had health issues because of the stress it caused me and I end up losing my job my apartment and I had to leave ********. While I was in ******* they just kept breaking in the unit. I end up taking other things down there because I had nowhere else to put it. That's how I found that my unit had been broken into. No security and no one called me to let me know anything. I called the police I got a police report and still to this day they refuse to give me money for the unit that was broken into. There is nothing that says anything about forced entrance on their insurance policy. I read it it states if it was broken into you get paid I pay insurance. And it was a lot of name brand clothes shoes game systems tablets and TVs. I even lost the use of my truck at that time because the transmission went out so I could not get back and forth to LaGrange. I was paying for someone to protect my items at the storage unit. They fell me horrible.

      In Fall of 2022, I signed up for a storage unit near my house. I put some holiday items in the unit. There was a Kiosk on site to pay the monthly fees at that time. Since then, the on site kiosk as locked their doors and the phone number on the notice they sent me for payment due had a phone number that was no longer in service. During March and April, I sent my payments to the address on the notice. I took them about 2 weeks to process my payments, therefore leaving late fees. I have tried to call their phone numbers but they are no longer in service. I tried to go to the storage facility to get into my unit but the gate code that they provided with was not working. I reached them on April 28, 2023 by a chat mail and they were not able to help me se they were going to have someone call me back. That was 6 days ago and no phone call form them. I am afraid there is something fraudulent going on with this company. I would like to get my things out of their storage unit and settle up with my account. I don't know how to get in touch with this company. Please help me get my belongings out of their locked up storage unit.

      Received notice of rate change increase of $9.00 which the total amount will be $55.00 per month starting 4-4-2023. For the last three years I have been paying $36.00 monthly by automatic withdrawal. Been doing business with them since it was Mt. ****** mini storage. I was told the reason I was paying $36 because of a discount they gave me for doing the automatic payments. So, they are taking this so called discount from me. When asked to speak to her supervisor she told me her supervisor would tell me the same thing. Therefore, do I have legit complaint?

      I was speaking with a customer support person named *******. While I am at fault for not reading the lease thoroughly, I feel that I was spoken to in a very belittling and unprofessional way. The fact that I am not eligible for a refund on a unit I did not even use is not the issue at all at this point, just the fact on how I was spoken to.

      I rented my unit 03/16/23. The 1st time I went there on 03/17/23 the gate was open and broken, I was able to get to my unit and put a few boxes in the unit and secure it with a lock. I rented a **Haul 03/26/23 packed it up, headed to Unit and code entered said Access Denied, this is the code that is showing on my online Red Dot account and the one on the contract I had to sign. I had no way of calling customer service because everything was closed. I had to rent the **Haul another night because its full. And if Uhaul was not returned on time there is a $320 fee. I was unable to keep moving and now I have to rent **Haul again. I am out $120 for **Haul fees and a Uhaul sitting in front of my house full. I called customer service and representative was not listening and very rude. I asked for a supervisor and was denied. Asked for email I can send my claim to and was denied. I feel I should be reimbursed for **Haul and a months rent due to your facility and its faulty gate. I should have 24/7 access like I was told when I rented it on 03/16/23. New customer and treated horrible, no access to my stuff that is locked behind their gate and not being able to access my unit. I have a video also if needed.

      On March 15, 2023 I received an email and text message of my vehicle parked in 607PP has been possibly damaged or broken into. On March 15, 2023 I contacted via telephone the red dot customer service and was advised to check on my vehicle (2006 grey Dodge Durango) because footage on the building on ************************************************************************** shows my vehicle alarm flashing. I notied my brother to check on my vehicle and it was confirmed on March 17, 2023 that my vehicle had been damaged on red dot gated property. I requested for a ********** ***************** to complete a report and was advised I had to be present. At this time I was still on the road and On March 21, 2023 I was able to file a police report for vandalism. Red dot has failed to contact me any further on what occurred and how this incident occurred on a gated premises. Red dot property manager has not offered an condolences or partial reimbursement. Instead someone or multiple people were allowed on the facility an ramshackled my 2006 Dodge Durango and even removed my battery, antenna, and three fuses to keep the alarm from sounding again. I moved two vehicles in on February 3, 2023 and red dot should take sometype of counterability for this because this is a gate area with cameras. This should've never happened and it's UNACCEPTABLE.
