      ESPN Bet had a promotion Sunday, November 24th, 2024, assuring a 50% rebate if a bet for "First Touchdown Scored" resulted in a loss bet. However, there were apparently 2 different betting options for the first touchdown being scored, but only one of them would count towards the rebate. I was carelessly misled by this and apparently spent $40 on the wrong First Touchdown Scored bet & was denied a rebate.

      I received the email and I'm trying to cancel ESPN* service before price goes up but can't find anyone at Walt ****** or ESPN to help me.       Hi ****, thank you for reaching out - we can help to cancel your subscription. Please reach out to me via email at [email protected] and I will connect you with an agent supervisor. In your email, please provide the following:

      1.) The first and last names associated with your ESPN* subscription
      2.) The email associated with your ESPN* subscription
      3a.) If your subscription is billed directly through ESPN: please provide the last four digits of your payment card
      3b.) If your subscription is billed through a third party (i.e ***** *** *****, ****** **** *****, ******, ******, ****, etc.): please provide the name of said third party

      While these steps may be tedious, we require they be taken in order to verify the fan and mitigate the risk of fraudulent behavior. If you are unable to provide the aforementioned information, we can explore alternative options to successfully cancel your subscription.

      I have tried multiple times to cancel my ESPN subscription. I paid for a year, which expires in February 2025. I am not looking for a refund. I want the subscription to end and not auto-renew. The problem is, since I subscribed, ESPN became ******. So now, when I try to log on to my ESPN account to cancel, I am prompted/forced to create a ****** account. I do not want a ****** account just to cancel my subscription. I contacted support 3 times and they don't even answer. I tried calling the number and was disconnected immediately.

      Hi ******, we apologize for being unable to help cancel your subscription on your prior attempts, but moving forward would like to ensure your subscription does not auto-renew in February 2025. Please bear in mind: if you cancel your subscription today, you will have access to the service through the end of your billing period. 

      In order to process your cancellation request, there are a few things we need to verify you as the account owner. Can you please be prepared to provide the following:

      1.) The name and email address associated with your ESPN Plus account
      2a) IF you purchased your subscription directly through ESPN (this would be through the ESPN website or App), the last four digits of the credit card you used to pay for the subscription
      2b) IF you purchased your subscription from a 3rd party provider (i.e. ***** App Store, ****** **** Store, **** Store, ******, *** ***, etc.) the name of 3rd party that's billing you
      3.) The date and charge amount on your last ESPN Plus bill

      We understand these steps can be somewhat tedious, but it's to mitigate any potential fraudulent behavior.

      I did not realize there was a response from the company (ESPN). Is it resolved or are they still expecting info from me? If not resolved, is there a way for me to directly contact the person who responded? The whole issue was that I could not reach ESPN without creating a ****** account. I appreciate BBB's help but just want to make sure it's actually resolved. Thanks.

      I made a espn bet account about a year ago and my account was hacked and the hacker got it suspended I want it back I contacted espn bet support to tell them about my inquiry they responded with its nothing they can do about it please help me get my account back reactivated

      On October 12, 2024 I subscribed to espn to watch the ********* ***** which they falsely advertised. I emailed them to cancel my transaction on October 12, 2024.
      I also opened a dispute with my **** card. I just want my 10.95 refunded back to me.

      Purchased ESPN plus to watch ****** ***** ********. It said I could access it. When I went in it said I couldn't access it without a TV provider. Very misleading. No customer support and unable to get a refund without filing a credit card charge back.

      I used ESPN's betting website. I bet $10 on the ****** ***** ******** game. The BET was that *** ****** and score more than two **********. He scored three and they tried to tell me that I only counts if he was the one who was actually holding the ball in the *******. the BET did not specify that it just said that he would score two ********** or more. They're wording is vague and ridiculous

      ESPN BET has reviewed the Complaint and the applicable ESPN BET account details associated with the Complaint. Section FO.6.8 of ESPN BET's public House Rules define a touchdown scorer as "the player in possession of the ball in the end zone and not the player who throws the touchdown." The wager in question for this compliant was a wager placed on a "Touchdown Scorer" market. The settlement, or grading, of these markets is governed by the House Rules and the language outlined in Section FO.6.8 of the House Rules. As such, the Touchdown Scorer wager on *** ****** that is outlined in this Complaint has been settled correctly as a Loss, given that *** ****** did not score a Rushing or Receiving Touchdown.

      ESPN does not respond to emails or phone calls in any fashion, so this is my next step in having my voice heard. I pay this company a few hundred dollars annually, at minimum, for ESPN+ and then *** Pay Per View events. They false advertise scheduling with *** **** Live events, the *** pay per view events have lost connection countless times, none of this would really be an issue if you could actually speak with a human being at the company and come to some sort of resolution, however they simply do not respond to any form of communication and think they are above the general public paying clientele. It is discrimination in its lowest form, they should be ashamed of themselves, and it objectively is not right.

      I am rejecting this response because: Three word response? LOL i got a call......rather, I got SIX calls in a row while working, within a 20 minute span, the sixth time a message was left, and then about 30 minutes later, two more calls, and a secondary message left. All documented. It was the most obvious "I'm going to try and get this off my desk with as little effort as possible" attempt to work with me, just as this three word message reply here suggests as well. I was not available to speak quite literally within the one and a half hour span that this person tried to contact me, they left me an 800 number to call back where I couldn't get through to anyone, and they think this is sufficient effort on their part which again, is par for the course with ESPN.

      every year I play in 10 ESPN ******* ******** leagues. After signing up, my email provider dumped it's system and i had to go through *********. I have wasted over 10 hours since yesterday trying to address the complete and total horse crap, run around and piss poor customer service of trying to get these MORONS to link my old account with my new one and it has been a lesson in complete futility! I demand to be contacted ASAP by their CEO James P*****! I have been transferred multiple times and finally an agent admitted the issues are on their end but they are unable to transfer the issue to the other department. No excuse for this complete and total run around and nonsense! The season has already started and I am unable to continue and I am LIVID
