      Fraudulent company! As of today, Aug 29th, 2024 I called to report unjustified charge for the billing cycle between 07/05/24 - 08/05/2024. During this cycle, for the last week (starting 07/29/24) the power was disconnected at my house. The bill received showed a consumption of Kwh higher than a full month cycle (comparing with June-July). When called for explanation the company response was that the heat outside was the cause of increased bill. I asked if the costumers are paying by the thermometer and requested a meter check in accordance with the law. Oh, boy, - did I fired up the lady at the other end...I was told that the meter does not need to be checked, that it was checked when installed, that the old meter was "slow" and needed to be changed since was 25 years old (but actually was installed in 2013 when I bought the house). In short, I was given a very hard time when I asked for the law to be followed and, and, felt forced to retrieve my request. I insisted and finally my request was registered/recorded. Please, investigate this company - it steals from the consumers.

      Fraud, extortion, price gouging are being levied against the citizens of Connecticut. They need to be held to investigations and scrutiny and this insanity needs to stop.

      They waited untill July 2024, to inform me that I was past due and kicked me off their Budget plan that was on for 9 years straight. They said I have to pay the true balance and the current balance before I can go back on the budget plan. I think they are after everyone now to increase the electricity bill. I never received a "friendly reminder to pay my past due until now. I received paperless billing stating that my budget payment was 85.00 and it was actually 98.00. I never got a letter stating they were going to take me off the budget plan unless I pay the past due balance. I was off by $13.00 each month for 9 months thinking that was my budget amount due but it wasnt the correct amount. I think they dont care for the consumer at all.

      This company is getting away with fraud waste and abuse towards its customers. They need to be investigated. The “Public Benefits” portion of their bill is fraudulent in the sense that what public benefits am I as a paying customer getting? We should not be paying for EV charging stations. That’s an initiative from the Fed government and should not be passed to the consumer. Especially ones that do not own an EV. Also I am aware that they are trying to recoup money from customers that did not pay their bills from COVID. I paid my bills during COVID so this should not be my problem. In there bill you should only have to pay for what it costs to supply the electricity based on usage and maintenance to maintain the power lines. In a time when agencies are trying to encourage renewable energy and sway from fossil fuel for the farce of saving the planet this does not create an incentive to go all electric. Our electric bill costs more than our monthly oil bill. Eversource is getting away with this because they are deep in the Democrats pockets. Their conduct should be investigated.

      I am mortified that we are made to pay all the fees, especially the "Public Benefit Charge". We never agreed to this charge whatsoever. They claim its a charge mandated federally and by the state. NO OTHER Electric Company is charging this and other Eversource states aren't either even though its supposedly federal!!!! Stop them from stealing our hard earned money and make them pay for what they are doing to Connecticut residents!

      The absolute worst ever to try and get a hold of someone to change an account! All day tried calling put on hold 20 mins each time NO ONE ever answered! Then when someone finally did they hung up? Why are we paying these horrendously expensive prices when your people don’t do their jobs? Increases are constant we pay more for bogus improvement charges that never occur than our base electric bill! Reprehensible Mega monopoly that makes T**** look great! Lining their pockets to the trillions in profits and even when power goes out guess what? Trucks are sitting at our local bar! Great job! Hate is a mild word for this company.

      Fraud. A monopoly. Raising prices on everything in a doubling manner. It’s not fair. It’s disgusting actually they have the right to do this & we have no choice. We are not a socialist country yet!! Why do we have to pay an extra large amount for others who don’t pay their bill. I’m tired of paying the consequences for others bad behaviors with their bills.

      I received Eversource gas bill -July 2024. Bill is only $7.89 (Supplies), but delivery charge cost me $43.56. What Eversource is collecting for retirement?? This is a fraud. I barely can afford but I can't switch provider. If you don't use gas, they still charge you $12. For their service.

      They have been working on my road in Dedham for 5 months now replacing the gas lines. Constant trucks in our dead end road and digging up the same hole over and over again. It’s ridiculous no communication whatsoever on the project progress. Horrible service and communication!!!

      Received a bill from eversource for 10.882 dollars, twice. Customer service was extremely unhelpful, trying to sell more services instead of listening to my problem.
      My bank blocked my cards because of this and eversource didn't even bother to give me an explanation.
