      Received a bill from Eversource that I did not consent to or request service for on an address I rent out. Called questioning why I was listed on a landlord transfer program that I never requested for after a tenant moved out and turned off their service. I don't know who gave eversource permission to just transfer the electric service to the landlord without their consent or request?? Spoke to 2-3 reps who could not verify who or when that service was requested. Yet, they continue to bill me for an address I NEVER called about let alone request a landlord transfer program. A manager from eversource was suppose to investigate it and was told someone was going to call me back and no one did. Instead I got another ridiculous bill again. When tenant requested to turn off their service, then it should of been turned off!!! I never asked to transfer the service to me.!! I do not live there!!!! Clearly, someone in the office made a mistake or it was a computer error and they want me to pay for their mistake. Their company name should be Everscam not Eversource.

      These THIEVES used to charge me $80 but now it’s $280 a month!? They refuse to justify it, they refuse to come out to confirm nothing is wrong. Eversource is awful!!! They’re stealing!!!

      I used to work as an internal consultant with this organization. I can tell you for certain they are corrupt, and leaders only care about lining their pockets. Eversource is a mini Enron. As a customer of Eversource too, and on a fixed income, my service delivery fee just went from just over $14.00 a month to just over $49.00 a month. Why don't some of the executives for once go without instead of constantly raising rates for the middle class.

      Eversource lost my check during their recent upgrade.
      They told me the check had been returned to the bank. It has not.
      They threatened to turn off my power if I did not pay the bill again. They also added a late fee.
      I always pay my bill on time and never had a problem sending a check for payment before.
      I have been a Eversource customer for well over 30 years and never had this problem before.
      Very unhappy with the way I was treated!
      While I'm at it I would like to be counted as another customer who does not want them to add $40 to my bill each month to pay for people who don't pay their bills.
      Their rates are some of the highest in the country and they need to figure out something else.

      I called Eversource 3 to 4 times, but they said that our meter is not working, then said that they are going to change the meter in July and are estimating our bill till they change the meter. Also, we want the meter issue to be sorted out by march, so can we get the meter changed around the start of march. Please do this favor, it will help us out a lot.

      Horrendous company who doesn’t put the slightest bit of effort towards customer service. Since they essentially have a monopoly on the market I suppose it’s not a concern of theres.
      It’s Monday morning, the start of a work week, and my power is suddenly shut off. I kindly go outside to ask one of the eversource guys how long they think it will be only to learn it will be several hours. They said I should have received a notice regarding the planned outage, yet I received zero notification. I called customer service to inquire and after spending more than 5 minutes sifting through an automated machine I finally reached a person who knew nothing of the outage and insisted it must have been an emergency situation. It was not, it was new neighbors getting a new electric connection. One of the workers outside made it clear that they(the work crew) received confirmation that my neighborhood was notified of this planned outage. Yet Eversource claimed to know nothing of it. After being put on hold multiple times, now 25min into the call I finally ask to speak to someone else who can clarify what went wrong here so that this doesn’t happen again. I get put on hold two more times as the customer service rep is “trying” to get someone else who’s up the chain of command. Then, of course, after wasting almost 40min on the phone I’m told there’s nobody else there to speak to me. Was there even an attempt to get someone else on the line or were the frequent and long holds a ploy to get me to give up. Eventually it was left that they’ll call me back with an answer, I’m not holding my breath. Considering the energy market is not an open market, the State of Connecticut should really step in as there’s no shortage of similar reviews and experiences online and randomly shutting off power with no warning, and no explanation as to why there was no warning is unacceptable in this day and age.

      Worse place there is. Be prepared to spend all day on the phone. If I ever got to the right person it would take forever. The rates keep going up. No one knows any thing. It's the only place that's why they are so horrible. All the reviews are 100% right.

      I'm lucky I live in ****** where we have our own power company. but recently opened a business in a town that is not covered under ****** utilities and was forced to go to eversource.
      just setting up the account has been a headache, opened account online and is asking to link account using account number - bill doesn't have the full account number so how am i supposed to add account?
      called customer service waited 35 min with no one to answer.
      now i see what so many people have complaint about this company.
      and this is TO PAY my bill, can only imagine when i need customer support or anything else.

      Eversource is HORRIBLE!!!! I just moved into an apartment and I tried putting the bill in my name, but customer service was down so they told me to call back Monday. I called back Monday while I was at work and when I got home at 5pm, the power had been shut off in my apartment. After complaining on the phone, they told me they turned it off at 10:30 this morning!! I do NOT recommend them at ALL!!!!!
