      As retiree of Eversource i have been receiving a pension from 2020. Withholdings for Federal taxes were all acceptable until February 1, 0f 2023 when they changed significantly my deductions without my knowledge.
      Discussing with their rep at Eversource Pension Services on @/!/23 they stated the change wasa result of federal guidelines. I asked if I as a person receiving a Eversource pension with a W-4P submitted by me if they ever contacted me with these changes being implemented , The Rep stated that is the Federal guiidelines. I questioned what does the Eversource Pension Service Provide to the reiree. Why did they not notify retirees of significant changes. Again the Rep stated the Federal Government made changes. What does the Eversource Pension Services Center ** **** *** ***** ** **** ** do for those receiving pension to ensure changes like this are communicated to the retirees. Again I had a signed W-4P which was being correctly implemented. Somebody should be responsible.

      Complete monopoly so they have to offer the extreme bare minimum in any type of service. Impossible to accomplish anything on their website, everything brings up an error prompting you to call and customer service agents are down right rude and unhelpful. Too bad there is literally no choice in having to use this company.

      I don't think I've ever experienced such an arcane and inconvenient customer service system. As I was paying my monthly bill on line, $459, my bank accidentally sent Eversource $4,459. Someone from Eversource called me about it, which I was grateful for. But then the saga of getting it back began. Any time I called Eversource, it took forever to get connected to an agent because the automatic system, which couldn't possibly understand my issue, kept insisting that I work with it. And then, when I would get transferred, it was a minimum 20 minute wait, sometimes over an hour. They couldn't transfer me to the particular agent I had dealt with, they had to send her a message and she would call me back. She then told me it would take 3 weeks for me to get my money back (since even though they knew it was a mistake they had already deposited it) unless I went to my bank and had the bank call. I did that, and it took an hour and a half to get her on the phone. At this point Eversource finally agreed to do a bank transfer and said the money would be back in my account by 1:00 the next day. When it had still not appeared 3 days later, I called Eversource again, scheduled two callbacks which never happened, and finally stayed on hold for an hour and 10 minutes til someone picked up, and informed me that the wire transfer was scheduled for the next day, 3 days after it was supposed to have been sent. We'll see if it comes tomorrow, but this system of keeping people on hold forever and not being able to transfer you is ridiculous.

      This company is rotten to the core. Their rates are one thing but their billing practices are a whole other kettle of fish. To suggest they are predatory and inconsistent is only scratching the surface. They will threaten to disconnect your service when your bill isn’t even delinquent. At times they will disregard the PURA guidelines for waiting and then they’ll want a massive deposit for 12 months should they actually turn your power off. They don’t abide by winter policy and they plainly thumb their nose at PURA and the residents of CT. Time for CT politicians to step up on behalf of their constituents and fix this problem! Cmon, 2nd most expensive electricity…next to Hawaii? And they keep asking for more while posting >$1bn in net income? Shame on Eversource, PURA and the politicians who continue to let this happen.

      I just received a $349.33 collection notice from TSI on behalf of Eversource gas. The only problems are:
      1. I've never received a bill from Eversource for any gas charges.
      2. The gas was shut off at the rental property that the bill concerns in June of '21.
      3. I haven't owned the rental property since April 6, 2022.
      3. After six phone calls to TSI and Eversource, the best explanation Eversource can offer is that they didn't have my address, BUT I was receiving an electric bill from Eversource every month until the property was sold.
      I have demanded that they send me itemized bills, but they didn't even ask for my address. This is ABSURD. Is their full name Kafka's Eversource?

      Received a shut-off notice yesterday because of a paultry $166.00 Bill that was overdue, after being a customer for over 10 years. I payed it today but felt it was necessary to give this review.
      Eversource is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. And it blows my mind that I have gas heat and gas hot water yet my most recent electric bill was $225.00 this month. I'm not sure how that is even possible. I will be moving eventually to a place where eversource is only a memory.

      This company has such poor customer service and communication skills I am in disbelief right now. I came home from work and picking up my 3 year old to a freezing cold apartment and no lights. I never received a phone call or text message that I was going to be disconnected. After waiting over 45 minutes to speak with anyone's, I payed them the 416$ bill immediately (and yes they shut off my electric when owing them 400$) a multi billion dollar company. Telling me they sent me 2 letters which I didn’t receive because the post office does not deliver to this address. And continued to tell me they wouldn’t be able to turn it on till the next day, and I would be charged. It would have never been turned off if they had contacted me and now I am supposed to pay a fee??? Now I am still with out heat and electricity and they can not give me a time of when they will be here,stating they do not call the mechanics. It is 2024! And you can’t get in contact with your mechanics? They will be here between 8am -4pm? So I couldn’t go to work as a nurse, they can’t tell me when they will be here and this all could have been avoided with a phone call or text message. They have no problem shutting off heat and electricity in the freezing cold months of January but they do have a problem turning it back on. They have no availability they kept stating. No availability?? And apparently no management because she could not for what ever reason connect me with a supervisor I can’t even switch providers because they are the only service available in this area. Their standards are low because they have no competition. This is outrageous. If I could give them a zero star rating I would!

      "Unconscionable! Eversource cut off my electricity without warning in the middle of winter, leaving my elderly parents and young children in the cold and dark. Despite having no past due balance and immediately paying my bill in full, they've shown no urgency in restoring service. This is more than just incompetence, it's reckless and inhumane. authorities don't hold them accountable.

      Paid my bill five days ago. Came home to electricity shut off. They have acknowledged the balance is zero, but refusing to come back to turn on. Absolute insanity. Worst of the worst

      We have been without power for 2 days which I can handle. But last night it said by 1am. I went on after 1 and it said we were all set which we were not. For what you charge people this is unacceptable. If you are going to charge these prices, you need to do better.
