      Horrid phone support. Great conversationalists, but no results on what you’re calling about. I was on the call for an hour and 47 minutes, talked to 6 different people, and got zilch. Like they just don’t want to answer questions straight up. They don’t care. Period.
      Incurable greed.

      Predatory billing. Eversource bill breakdown explains that almost half of the bill goes to ( local delivery and transmission fees, and public benefit). for example: you consume 300, they charge you extra 360, you end up paying 670$.
      How is an average not a a wealthy person can afford to live in these conditions? the state of CT needs to protect the residents against this predatory behavior.

      Eversource has had raised my bill after applying for assistance and setting up a payment plan. I’m a second year teacher and domestic violence survivor that advocates for financial empowerment. Eversource should be ashamed of lack of customer service and support as well as its greed!

      The customer service is horrible. You are made to wait for long periods of time. You are asked the same questions every time they send you to someone else and then treated rudely.
      I find this to be a problem because you cannot take care of anything unless you call. I drove an hour to get to ********** then was sent away and told I would have to call.

      Ever source is looting residents in our area by taking advantage of being a sole supplier. I am 100% sure that I don’t use that much electricity but the bill came in much higher. And their customer service representatives are rude. This has to be changed!!!!

      They are awful people to work with. When your job is to help improve the business and they have no interest, can’t help but wonder if that creeps over into how they handle customers. Glad I’m not one!

      Greedy, overpriced, a bunch of thieves. There is no reason with the prices of everything taking as much as they do. How do they excpect people to keep up.

      I spoke with two representatives at the Eversource (Arrears Department)
      The second representative was name Bonnie and her Supervisor was name Cindy. They were very unprofessional and rude. I will letting upper management know about their behavior and lack of respect of customer service.

      ZERO rating for Eversource.
      Tenant has a $4,889.53 bill. Eversource will send the bill to collections. Eversource representative said, "This is all we can do." Also, she said the bill will most likely NOT be paid.
      Another representative said, "You can't force anyone to pay their bill - that's life."
      The tenant has the resources to pay. Eversource should be more proactive in having deadbeats pay their bills.
      Eversource DOES NOT CARE about FAMILIES and the ELDERLY who STRUGGLE to PAY their BILLS.
      Eversource is a corrupt company in my humble opinion. All the Eversource employees do is give people the run around.
      Cannot reach anyone in the corporate office, cannot even reach a supervisor. Was told a supervisor would call me in a few days. It has been a month and NO return call.

      Apart from being forced to pay outrageous "delivery" charges, which average 90% of my bill, I don't really give Eversource any regard, but back on July 3, 2023 a service person came out to "work" on my meter. He simply painted it, but then told me they would need to replace it. He said Eversource would contact me to set up an appointment. On September 7, 2023, I discovered a technician had come to my house, turned off my gas, replaced the meter, and because I wasn't home (because they never made an appointment), he left a note stating I would need to call them to turn my gas back on. Seriously?! The worst part was he left the note on my front door which I never use. I use my side door for entry and my front door is a side-facing front door, so you don't really see it from the road. I only found the note because I received an email stating a package was delivered, otherwise, I never would've known my gas was turned off. I would've tried to use my stove and, thinking it was broken, would have wasted time and money having someone come out to "fix" it. After I saw the note, I called Eversource, which is when I was told the Tech had "free time" and just dropped by my house unannounced. They contacted the tech to come back and turn on my gas and, when confronted about just "showing up", he outright lied saying they tried to reach me. Eversource has EVERY means possible of communicating with me (phone, email, address) and NEVER tried to set-up an appt. I was then forced to let him into my home to turn on the gas. I wasn't expecting to have a stranger in my home and felt very uncomfortable. Eversource had no right to put me in that situation. All they had to do was call or email me to set up an appointment. Also, when I looked at the new meter, I discovered he never caulked the connection to where the pipe enters the house. Now I have to pay out of my own pocket to finish the job!
