      This company is single handedly killing connecticut residents and small businesses. I called to ask for a 5 day extension on our payments in the dead of winter and they said no. I told them our family would freeze, and they said “that’s policy.” How is that humane at all? How is that legal? But, they’re a monopoly and judging by the fact that I am one of thousands who have outcried, they get away with it. It’s the saddest thing I have ever seen.

      If I could give negative stars I would
      one of the single worse companies I've ever dealt with in my life. Regularly using aggressive and unethical business tactics. Mess up my bill almost every month. Took me off auto pay with no warning then threatened to send me to collections and shut off my gas if I don't pay in one week. Not to mention the fact that my usage is usually about $50 but the service and delivery fee is almost $100! which also DOUBLED Last year with no explanation. FOR DELIVERY?? YOU DON'T DELIVER ANYTHING! and they know that they can get away with it because there are no other energy providers in the area. Truly the picture of what is wrong with this country. And the BBB doesn't plan to do anything is that there have been over 100 complaints this year and nothing gets done

      We moved to ********* *ast year and our bills are outrageously high since last year. 600 / month for electricity and 650/ month for gas. I have called and asked for evaluation and assessment, nothing has been done, just told its accurate reading. I have two kids in school all day and both husband and I work two to three days out of home. Basic appliance tv/ fridge/microwave connected all the time. very diligent abt turning off lights etc.. I was told they were gonna come today for proper evaluation, they missed the window even called them to remind them, that nobody has showed up yet... and still been two hours no one yet. There is no accoutability. I have lived in braintree in the past and the customer service and price was so good.

      This a complaint against EVERSOURCE - I have called four times Monday 10 April and three of those times the agent tried to give a gift certificate that led to an unwanted service. After the rudeness of the first two agents and their hanging **** I called and requested to talk with a manager. The person that I spoke with ******************** said that she was the manager. I told her about my experience and she also hung up. Not a pleasant experience.

      TRASH!! CROOKS..CRIMINALS...RIP OFFS. SOMETHING NEED TO BE DONE QUICK...FAST ABOUT THIS SCAMMING POWER COMPANY. PLEASE HELP OUR FAMILIES. MY HOUSEHOLD IS SUFFERING RIGHT NOW FROM THIS LYING, RUDE.. UNCARING COMPANY. WE HAVE NO POWER...ALL OUR FOOD HAS SPOILED..ITS GOING ON 2 DAYS. THIS IS HOW THE U.S.A TREAT THE PEOPLE. WHAT A DISGRACE!!

      Eversource was decent until they decided out of nowhere to double the supply rate. Of course I was advised on the phone I could switch suppliers until I realized the alternatives all reel you in with a low rate only to jack up the prices months later.
      No exaggeration we’ve, used LESS energy to lower the bill but their stupidity high supply rate keeps the bill high despite unplugging EVERY Appliance in the household at all times.
      I’ve come to the conclusion that Eversource knows you’re going to get scammed with these “lower” suppliers and leave you no choice but to stay with Eversource.
      They’re actively rubbing it in our faces.

      I was overpaid on my Eversource bill by $700, then I open the app to find out I owe $1049. How did it jump so high in that short amount of time? They intentionally gouge the prices because they know people are using heaters. It’s not right. We are a married couple living in an apartment on a McDonalds budget. Not everyone has $10,000+ in their bank account at all times. Some people actually live paycheck to paycheck. The price gouging needs to stop.

      Absolute scum of the earth. If their goal is to radicalize communities into becoming politically active to curb their predatory marketing then they have succeeded. Record breaking profits and absolutely inexcusable delivery charges, I will be getting everyone I know to jump ship to different provider.

      Corrupt organization with strong lobbist ties to control regulating body in CT. Penalize customers who elect 3rd party suppliers...transportation service charges & transportation service demand charge. See for yourself and challenge it. CEO and *** ****** too cowardly to debate me.

      Awful customer service. I was on hold for over an hour, being my 5th phone call within 3 weeks, explaining how they still haven’t changed the apartment number and the xxx hung up on me. They even came here to fix the issue and still got it wrong. Then I asked for his name and never gave it to me. The worst customer service all around.
