  I changed insurance companies Jan 2023 to Aetna with all kinds of promises from the sales agent . I have been fighting for 6 weeks now to get a quarterly health card that was part of the program. I have spent hours on the phone with aetna and their partner nations benefits who issue the cards. Back and forth back and forth, each call the representative tells me a total different story. I have talked with supervisors that said they took care of it as it was not done. STILL NOT DONE....Getting nowhere with either company. Use ****** **** ******** a much better insurance program and the company is very responsive.

  Called to setup insurance, denied because members of our household have mental health diagnoses to include autism and personality disorders. The representative said we should apply to Obamacare but we are higher income.
  How can private health insurance deny disabled people? That's ridiculous, the people who need health coverage the most are disabled or woth pre-existing diagnosis. Applying to other companies who are aren't ableist.

  DO NOT USE AETNA FOR YOUR MEDICARE PLAN!!!! This company will make promises to get you to switch over to their plan and then they will take those promised benefits away once they have you. I have NEVER experiences such terrible customer care with any company as I have with Aetna Medicare Insurance.

  WORSE INSURANCE COMPANY EVER! DROPPED MY 81 YEAR OLD MOTHERS INSURANCE AFTER OVER 20 YEARS, NOW WILL NOT REINSTATE FOR NO REASON.
  EVERYONE NEEDS TO FILE A COMPLAINT SO WE CAN GET THIS INSURANCE COMPANY OUT OF ***********

  The monopoly that they have with *** ******** should be illegal. They are disallowing a medication that I have been on for 20 years that has been effective and reliable. I have now had 3 appeals with no success and I have only a few days of medication left. There is no rush on their part to assist at all. Just more phone calls and requests to my doctor for information that they have already been given. I keep wondering what are we paying for with Aetna? Whatever it is, it's not worth it,

  Aetna told me to use in network providers so I don't have to pay much out of pocket, however they lied again. I recently I have bill for 526 dollars because Aetna don't want to pay no even a penny. This insurance company gets away with anything because there is not federal oversight. Nobody in congress cares about Americans paying high medical bills I'm suing them

  I work for *** and wouldn't recommend this horrible insurance to anyone. I plan to cancel it ASAP. They are restricting me on where I can get my maintenance medication and I'm about to run out and they only want to mail order to me and I don't want it mail ordered.

  This individual ** ****** is serving the Aetna Insurance and doing what is against the Hippocratic Oath. He makes very important judgements for the insurance company not what is best for the patient. He is more than likely setting in his office or home in *** ******** ** area making decisions that continue to let individuals suffer with severe pain, is that what Doctors are supposed to do? Oh, Money Talks...
  I suffer with severe pain 24 hours a day 7 days a week due to my condition and I have had two (2) Orthopedic Hip Specialists tell me the only thing that will better your condition is surgery. But *** ****** who has never examined me or even seen me and who is a Hand Doctor is going to tell us that you do not qualify for surgery, because he is a Doctor for Aetna. I can’t hardly even walk through the grocery store to get groceries. The smallest walk raises the pain level above the pain chart. I never wished any pain onto anyone, but right now I wish you *** ****** could have the pain I have each and every day all day. Due to you refusing to allow my surgery Thank You for making my day-to-day life miserable.
  I was always with the understanding that Doctors are to make patients better not worse. I have alway been told that I would need to see the Doctor in person prior to getting any treatment. I guess ** ****** that does not apply to certain Doctors?

  It took me 3 years and counting to get them to pay bills. They had incorrect information in their system on coordination of benefits. For 3 yrs, after my husband had covid, I am still getting denied bills.

  I wouldn't even give them a star. Horrible experience. Aetna says "when available you can get a ride" they told me short notice trip ride goes only on "availability" except no agents representative has ever told me that before. She said rides aren't available today so I asked have rides been given today. She wouldn't answer my question and stated " I can't force them to give you a ride" She said it multiple of times with a disgusting careless attitude. They don't follow there own issues. Then she wouldn't give it to the supervisor and stated she "was" the supervisor. I feel aenta discriminated against me after she wouldn't answer my question, if they gave out rides today. Anyway moral of the story AETNA dont lie and Aetna don't hire people who discriminate because you think u cant get caught, its very awful, and extremely hurtful, I was crying on the phone and the wannabe supervisor couldn't give less of a care and kept repeating " I can't force aetna to give you a ride.." it's against the law to specify a specific person out and without reason and deny them . what aetna is doing is illegal. I hope they get caught for it discrimination of some sort. How do we fire aetna?
