On March 12, 2024, my husband and I were visiting from another state to see our daughter. Our daughter's friend, whose name is on the ticket, offered to let us borrow his car to go to the ****** museum's free day but he needed his car back by 1:30. We pulled into the parking lot and proceeded to follow the directions on the posted sign. When asked how much time we needed to park, we chose three hours which would give us time to get the car back by 1:30. We continued to follow the instructions on the phone, but it got to a certain point, and it would not continue to process. There was no attendant on duty, and no one answered the phone number listed for help. I backed out of that stuck screen and when I continued it went on to let me finish the transaction. As far as I knew, the three hours was still listed as my chosen time and that is what I expected to receive. Instead, my daughter's friend received a notice about a week later saying he owed the exorbitant amount of $92.00 and with an additional $5.00 fee for processing or some other add on, $97.00 for 39 minutes over their time on the parking. When in fact, we should have had 14 minutes to spare if they had given us the time period I requested. How does that happen? After filing an appeal, I received 2 form letters by email. The first saying they would look into the matter. The second saying they would lower it to a still ridiculous amount of $72.00 if I paid in 14 days instead of 30. I would expect an honest company to dismiss the unjust fine levied for what I hope was a glitch in their system and not deliberate easy money. Thank you.

On September 21, 2023 I parked at the *** ***** ****** **** ***** *******. I received Citation ******** for "Parking in a Permit space / No permit displayed. Parking at this station is enforced by Laz Parking. The cost of the Citation is $70.
The Citation was incorrect, because I paid for "Metered Parking" at the kiosk beside the stairs and then parked at a "Permit or Metered" space (picture provided). I paid with a $10 bill and I received $5.50 in coins (picture provided). I provided a picture of the unusual 5 x $1.00 coins and 2 quarters I received. I was forced to use cash as the Laz Parking app was not working (picture provided).
I have been emailing Laz Customer Service about their error since Sept 25, 2023. I was forced to leave several voice messages since the phone number provided was always busy. Months later I spoke to representatives twice. I explained the situation and provided all the evidence. Nothing has been done to correct the error.
I am requesting that this ticket be canceled. It was issued in error as I paid and parked correctly. I should not be asked to pay $70 as I had already paid for 16 hours from 7:24 AM to 11:24 PM. The ticket was issued at 2:29 PM inside the paid 16-hour window. All the pictorial evidence showing the App not working, Change received from the Kiosk, and the Car parked at a "Permit or Metered" spot was submitted several times and discussed with LAZ agents over email and during the 2 conversations.
I cannot wait for this nightmare to end.

Stopped at ***** **** ********* for the first time ever on Saturday 2/24. Was only inside for 30 minutes because there is nothing inside. Like 3 or 4 stores. Seems like it's basically serving as a connection to other main attractions (casino, hotel, courthouse) and less to do with shopping. Anyway as we leave the parking wants to charge us $35 when the sign on the booth says $6 for the first hour. After speaking with a parking attendent we were told it was special event parking which was $60. There was no event happening and if there was we sure as heck didn't see anything. We were there for literally 30 minutes. Then we were rudely told its special event parking and we could pay the $35 or they'd charge us the full $60. Or we could soend more than $30 inside the mall and have our parking validated for regular mall parkkng prices. At what stores? The three stores in there one being a bridal gown shop? This is absolutely highway robbery and false advertising. They wonder why this mall is dead? This is a tourist trap. Who the heck wants to pay $1 + per minute just to walk around? I'm willing to pay the $6 to park in the lot but $35? No you need to fix this.Business Response

On the night of 2/10/24 I parked at *** ******* ******* *** ***. When I went to leave at 11:00 PM, I sat in my car, along with hundreds of other cars trying to leave, for at least 45 minutes without moving, and finally got out of the parking deck after about an hour. For some reason, multiple exits were closed and no support was being provided to alleviate the situation. In addition to this being a safety issue to have people essentially trapped for an hour and extremely poor service, the delay also caused my time in the deck to increase and thus led to me paying a higher price. I expect a refund, but my bigger concern is the safety issue and inadequate support provided by LAZ Parking - if there was an emergency then everyone would have been stuck with nowhere to go.Business Response

The company LAZ Parking operates parking lots in ********, *** ****. They advertise an event price of $10 in their "Trolley Lot". They charged $15 for an event on Saturday, February 3, 2024 in the Trolley Lot. Since parking is automated (you pay either via a QR code or via a kiosk), there isn't anyone to talk to about it before you actually get charged this price. While you can contact the business via a link in their confirmation email, this is enough friction that LAZ Parking can effectively charge whatever they want to users of their parking lot and get away with it...advertising one price and charging another.
It should be noted that the extra $0.55 I paid was a service charge for the transaction. This is advertised in small print on their signed. So the $0.55 is fine; what concerns me is that they overcharged hundreds - if not thousands - of people by $5.00. If they do this enough and no one complains, they get a lot of extra money through this false posting of their prices.Business Response

Have been a loyal customer of a parking garage at ***** ****** between ***** and *** ******. LAZ took over the garage from ***** and ever since I have had problems with dings and dents to my car. I reported these issues on several occasions and they denied responsibility. On December 27, 2023, I reported a significant dent in the right side door and rear back panel of the car. The claim was investigated by the garage manager Robert G******* and based on pictures taken of the car when I dropped it off and retrieved it, he agreed the damage occurred at the facility and claimed it was a result of a self-parker at the facility. They provided no evidence that the damage was not caused by one of their attendants. The estimate to repair is $1,400. I pay $856/monthly for two cars.Business Response

I parked for about 3 hours at their ********** ***** parking Lot on 12/31/2023. It was supposed to be a 2$ charge, but the automatic machine showed $13. I had to leave quickly, so I inserted my credit card to pay. It was declined. I paid with cash and left. Later, the $13 charge showed up on my credit card account. I pay a monthly parking fee at a LAZ lot in *******. On November 6, 2023, I obtained a rental while my car was being repaired due to an accident. Before I left the rental car lot, I added the tag for the rental car as that was the only option on the LAZ app. The screen that shows your registered tag and the length of your parking time does not allow you to modify the tag in that area. I even e-mailed LAZ and was provided with the same instructions of what I had already done. When I parked at the lot that day, my car was booted by ****** ******* *******. When I spoke with the guy with ******, even showing him that I did in fact have a monthly pass, I was told I would need to buy another pass for the rental and was charged $75.00 to have the boot removed. I filed a dispute with ****** and nothing has come of that. I tried calling the number for LAZ that was listed on the mobile app but that number was just a bunch of advertisements and after going through all of the prompts, the call was answered by a medical company. The number listed on the post at the actual lot is just as useless because even though you get a recording, all messaging has been disabled. I parked that Wednesday and Thursday of the same week in the rental with no problem; however, on Monday, November 13th, I was booted again and had to pay another $75.00. I filed another dispute with ****** and again, nothing has come of it. I did call a number for LAZ that was emailed to me and spoke with someone who told me someone from management would get back with me in 48 hours, but it has been 3 weeks and nothing. Even though I was booted by ******, I feel the ultimate responsibility lies with LAZ, as this is LAZ' lot and website that is not functional, my monthly parking fee was paid to LAZ and there should be a way to modify your tag or at least speak with someone when there is an issue. I am seeking a refund of the $150.00 that was extorted from me unjustly.Business Response

I have been contacting them since the day that I left this job to cancel the subscription. I can not cancel or take my payment off online have left multiple messages with them and they debited my account without responding back to anything. I need a refund for these months as they charged me for two months and I wasn't even using the parking lot. This is the worst customer service everything you call them noone answers the phone and it goes to voice-mail for the two heads of the company. I was a monthly parker at a garage in ********* ****. In early September 2023, due to unforeseen circumstances, I did not have enough funds to continue with the monthly subscription. I was not aware I couldnt make the payment, until I noticed that I was not allowed into the Garage. I then started to use validation stickers provided by my employer. (employees can purchase these stickers for $10/day.
I would have assumed after the first missed payment, and subsequent unsuccessful attempt for payment, that I was cancelled. Apparently from 9/1-10/15 they tried charging my card, repeatedly, which was continuously declined.
I have since saved enough money to start the subscription back up, but while I was updating CC information online, I saw a balance. This doesn't make any sense to me as I did not use the monthly parking pass in September or October. I immediately removed my credit card information as I did not want to be erroneously charged for something that I did not use.
I tried calling the company, to no avail, on Monday, 10/30/2023 to rectify this issue. It was only after 20 phone calls to various offices did I reach the manager for my location. Once I was in contact with him, he ensured that everything would be taken care of. After another discussion with his assistant, they told me that I would not be able to sign back up until I paid the balance. After asking 3-4 times what the charges were for, with no explicit answer, (the only thing they said was that I didn't cancel with 30 days' notice) we agreed to have an in-person meeting. We have not had said in person meeting, but today (11/1) they have stolen my credit card information and have charged my card.
This is not *** compliant, and an outrageous attempt of theft. I have already contacted my bank to do a chargeback, but I don't want anyone else to experience what I have been through.Business Response
