I parked in a paid lot and used the posted QR code to pay for parking on the provided website. A couple weeks later I received a letter in the mail with a fine stating I had not paid to park there that night. I immediately mailed a dispute letter to the address provided with pictures of my confirmation email for paying and a screenshot of my bank statement showing that I had paid. I never received a response, but now I have received a collections notice.Business Response

There is an unauthorized use of my name and email address which has been used to make this parking account. I use to work for ** ******* ******** that uses Laz parking for their parking structure. I had to sign up for an account to get on the wait list. I kept getting these invoices, see attachment and it’s for a parking structure in *** I live in **. I talked to the security at Laz Parking in ** and she assured me it was just a typo, that they accidentally connected my email to some account in **. She took my email off of the account but I’m still receiving these invoices. If you look up **** ********* ***, it’s an abandoned building. I believe they are stealing my identity and or something is not right and someone is using my name to do it. I’ve emailed people and left messages at this company and no one is getting back to me. This needs to be investigated asap.Business Response

I parked at the LAZ parking lot in Downtown *** on August 28th. The temp was over 115 degrees. I pulled into the lot and tried to use the online APP to pay the $12 parking fee. The app would not work. I then got of the car and went to one of the kiosk and that did not work. After spending 20+ minutes in 115 degree heat I was running late for my meeting. I went into the meeting and weeks later got a charge for $100! No way should I have to pay that fee because their payment system would not work. I disputed their toll fee and was told online I would hear back in 14 days. I heard nothing. This company is a complete scam and I will be contacting the city of *** to see what can be done to remove them from doing business downtown. I ended up paying the $100 fee after they kept harassing me. This company is garbage and I will do everything in my power to discredit them in the community.Initial Complaint

I parked in a free parking garage and visited a business within the complex. When I get back to my car, there is a $50 parking ticket for parking in an unauthorized spot. I took pictures behind my car and under my car which indicated no parking restrictions and submitted an appeal.
My appeal was denied immediately stating again that I was in an authorized spot and had no additional recourse but to pay the fine and no further contact information was provided.
I have since attempted to contact four employees of LAZ parking to discuss and cannot get anyone to respond.Business Response

I was wrongfully provided a ticket (Citation # *********) on 5/23/23 at 8:29PM for a "No Parking Zone". I have been parking at this location for the longest and was never given a ticket. If this was changed, there should have been a new sign posted stating such. There is no sign on the floor, nor current posting stating, not an active driveway. I refuse to pay the fine (currently at $200) and will be seeking legal action if this is not resolved. At the very least, a warning should have been mailed so i could have been notified of this change. Additionally, i requested a hearing and was never notified nor was i involved and received a denial. Furthermore, my original letters in the mail were deliberately changed so i would not get the mail; fortunately the building's postman is aware and placed in the correct mailbox. I seek immediate resolutionInitial Complaint

I paid for 24 hours of parking at the LAZ Parking lot at ** ****** **, ******** **. I left for 2 hrs and returned well before my 24 hrs had expired to find that my vehicle had boots installed on them. When the technician arrived I told him that there was nothing to say that I couldn’t leave and return. In response he took me over to a single sign in the middle of the whole parking lot that I wouldn’t have had to look at to pay for the parking so he could show me some very fine print. He also said that it was on the email that I received when I paid for the parking. It was not on the email, but was on a page that was on a link in the email that would have been unnecessary for me to look at for that particular parking lot. He refused to remove the boots until O paid the $75 fee. THIS IS A VERY DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICE. I would like a refund of my $75.Initial Complaint

I terminated a 1-year parking subscription (July 2022-July 2023) and continue to receive invoices and late fees for parking payment for August and September. I contacted the LAZ Parking office via email and in-person to end my subscription and am unable to terminate the subscription via their website, which has no functional option to close the account. I returned the garage key card to the office and signed a document saying the parking term is closed.
I have not received response from Victoria A*******; Revenue Coordinator ###-###-#### ** ** ****** ***** **** ******** ** *****; and continue to be billed for an ended subscription.
Desired resolution is to receive written confirmation that the August and September invoices, as well as late fee for these charges, are null and void; as well as no further contact from this company.Customer Answer

This is to show my paid invoices for the legitimate months of January, February, March, April, May, June and July 2023. My account is free and clear to close without the fraudulent August, September and late charges.Initial Complaint

On November 3, 2022 I payed $10 for the Early bird price to park in the LAZ parking lot.
When I came back to my Truck I had a boot on my vehicle. I clearly had a PAID parking ticket in my window and no reserved parking signs were in place. I had to call the boot person and he informed me that their "USED TO BE" a reserved parking sign their. So, I requested to remove the boot and still had to pay $75 to get the boot off. What they are doing is criminal and wrong! Their have been several of my other co-workers reporting the same type of behavior. Now my fortune 500 company will be looking into this issue because it is affecting too many of their employees. The state of ******* was attempting to pass a LAW to make booting cars illegal in 2023 to prove how BAD this has been in ******* with LAZ parking. The incident occurred at the below LAZ location *** ********* ****** *** *** ******** ** *****
