Purchased furniture from Bob's Discount Furniture on 10/04/2024 and picked up on 10/09/2024. On 11/18/2024 we called and told them that we think a spring on the left side back of love seat came loose. They sent a repair person out on 11/23/2024 and he said he repair it. On 12/23/2024 we called them again and told them that springs on both backs of the love seat came loose. On 12/27/2024 they sent a repair person out again. After looking at it he said it was not repairable, and it would have to be replaced. After talking to Bob's, they said the furniture was not available anymore and they would give us a credit for the 3-piece set. I told them that i wanted a refund and not a credit after seeing all the bad reviews and wanting to buy furniture someplace else They refused and that is where we are at this point.Bob's Discount Furniture LLC

Ordered a chair on December 1st, 2024. Chair never arrived. Watched the delivery date change daily. Contacted customer service via chat at least 4 times all 4 times they indicated that ***** picked up the chair. I asked for a tracking number and they indicated that I had to get the tracking number from *****. That’s wrong. Sellers always get the tracking number. My husband called Bobs and the CSR indicated over and over again that it was their wand the chair was not with FedEx. They promised the chair would be delivered on 12/23 in time for Christmas. The chair never came. Very poor logistics system. Don’t buy from here.Bob's Discount Furniture LLC

Bought two chairs in **** *** ****** Bob’s discount furniture salesman was misleading about where they were manufactured also took them home and turned out to be most uncomfortable their stuff is low quality I would recommend never ever buying anything from Bob’s discount furnitureBob's Discount Furniture LLC

Came with my own truck to pick up a mattress. Company said two weeks before I could pick-up, but could deliver next day. Charged $100.
Then I sent a cashier's check to the store by accident. It should have went to credit card address. After multiple texts, and 8 days later the manager stated he placed my cashier's check in a mailbox, but it never found. Now I have to pay to cancel cashier's check, reissue another one and mailed timely as it is due tomorrow.Bob's Discount Furniture LLC

Worst customer service. Delivered broken ottoman. Ordered new ottoman in oct. Here I am in Dec and no ottoman no call no nothing. Everytime I call its always on order and wont be in for 30 days. They dont care about customer satisfaction as long as they get their money. You can even see in other complaints on this site the generic answers they give. Bobs has to get a better delievery system i am waiting for a dresser i order they send you and email the day prior which i had a delivery time between 10:15-1:15 which the day of i receive a text messege at 7:45am stating the time was now 8:45-11:45 which they arrive at 9:10 unfortunately i had to put in a request with my building for use of the service entrance and service elevator, which no one was here at that time because my schedule time was originally different I was told by Bob’s if the delivery team was moving earlier than they’re allowed to change the time And move faster throughout their delivery now i have to Reschedule and take another day off because they won’t bring it back today So if you having something delivered and you need a specific time frame make sure your sale person put on your notes that your building has a building restriction so they can follow the schedule as followed and customer service just say there nothing that they can do what kind of customer service is that lesson learnBob's Discount Furniture LLC

We bought a couch and got the goof proof protection in mid 2023. We've had two different claims denied because it's normal wear and tear. Our couch is literally splitting at the seams because my husband sits there a couple times a week and they're denying the claim because it's normal wear and tear. The worst part is, my portion of the couch is dented. It's been dented for about 8 months, but I was lazy and didn't feel like filing a claim. Well, too bad, it's normal wear and tear now.
We called Bob's and they said it's only covered for factory defects for one year. The couch is 18 months old. So now, after spending $1200 on the couch, we have to go out and buy a new couch.
Of course, we could fight them or, as I said to the rep, I could stab the couch and they'd cover it, but I don't want it anymore. I'm done with Bob's and their crappy customer service, crappy product quality, and crappy warranty.
We've had so many problems with the two living/dining furniture pieces we've bought. Not worth the paper the receipt is printed on.Review fromKenneth S

1 starI purchased a recliner in 2020, at Bob’s discount furniture in ******** *** At the time of purchase I paid for a five year warranty. A so called "Goof Proof" Warranty. I recently scratched the side of the recliner and called the warranty company .
The receipt lists the warranty company as "Guardian." I came to learn that the company that services the warranty is called ******* Insurance Technology and Warrant Services located in ************ *******. I had a difficult time contacting them. Their website didn't work, and getting them on the phone took several attempts.
After wasting most of the morning I finally got a representative on the phone.
They refused to honor the warranty because it lists my deceased father as the warranty owner.
I explained to the rep that I still have the receipt that indicates the recliner was sold to me, but delivered to my father. The rep said they won't honor the warranty, despite the fact I paid for the recliner and the receipt lists me as the person it was "Sold to."
I explained several times that I owned the recliner and had it delivered to my father who was home during the day to accept delivery. The receipt lists him in the area of the receipt that indicates "Ship to." I'm listed in the area that says "sold to."
Bottom line I went back and forth with the warranty rep and was told they would not honor the warranty. I have made other purchases at Bob's and also purchased this goof proof warranty on other items. So the first time I need it, it turns out to be worthless. I'd recommend anyone not waste their money. Needless to say I feel ripped off. Hope this review helps someone else from making the same mistake!
