My wife and I are very satisfied with our cream Bettie sofa selection. As first-time buyers, it exceeded our expectations. The quality of construction was on point. Its stylish design enhanced the look of our living room. Lenny, the sales assistant from the Poughkeepsie store, was very helpful and allowed us to peruse the showroom without any pressure. Bob's Furniture store in ******* on **** road is the best! Today my Nana and I got the best experience with Naomi. She was very kind and patient with us during our search for the right one. We almost couldn't buy our Furniture today because of an ID issue (thanks dmv), the other sales person, Thomas heard our situation and got the manager Birtha to come help us. We did not ask for the manager, he kindly got her for us!
Birtha, the manager, was also so kind and generous enough to let the expired ID go through their system anyways.
My Nana and I had a really great experience with their customer service.

I had an awful experience with Bob’s Furniture. From the beginning, we felt rushed and pressured into buying without being given the time or opportunity to read through their store policies. The staff made us feel obligated to make a purchase, and there was little to no clear communication throughout the entire process.
We were sold a mattress that is not even compatible with the bed frame — which now feels unstable and on the verge of breaking. When we brought this up, we were told everything was fine during the sale, but it clearly isn’t. It feels like we were misled just to close the deal.
To make matters worse, we’re unhappy with the purchase and they are refusing to let us return it. We are now stuck with expensive furniture that doesn’t work for us, and no one seems willing to help resolve the issue.
This experience has been beyond frustrating. I would strongly warn others to avoid Bob’s Furniture if you want honest service and a company that stands behind what it sells.Bob's Discount Furniture LLC

We have been able to access your account, and we do see that the bed frame and power base were delivered into the home in April with no reported concerns. Our customer support team did set you up with a product support pro virtual service, who did determine that an exchange of the Spencer Storage bed would be warranted, however we are unable to offer a pick up for a refund at this time. If you would like to continue with the recourse offered you can contact us back at ************** however we are unable to offer a return for a refund as the customer is requesting. I would honestly give it 0 stars customer service is horrible. Would not pay the 300 for white glove service delivery people are rude and will block off the street and traffic and disregard you they don't take trash with them except the box and if they had a bad day and they don't feel like moving it they will tell you it doesn't fit and throw it back on the truck and leave. Then when you call customer service complain and all that they tell you they can redeliver a week later. I would not recommend this place at allBob's Discount Furniture LLC

I ordered a couch and chase combo on a Sunday. Was told delivery would be on Thursday when I was off. Wednesday we get the message that the couch would arrive between 11:15 and 1:15 on Thursday. Wednesday morning we put our old couch out for pickup. All seemed well and timing was good with a birthday party at home for the weekend. Then we get a call saying that only half the couch would be delivered and the other half would have to wait until the following week. Days that were offered we have no one available due to work schedules. When we questioned why we were not given a reason for the delay. We were told the item is available, but not told why it couldn't be delivered. " Your item is available." When asked where it was available thinking I could maybe pick it up I was told they didn't know. And after being on hold for awhile while they looked into it the response I got as to why was unknown! This is the first time we used Bob's. We were hesitant to do so, but we found dining chairs we liked and the price was good because of Memorial Day sales. We did check out a competitor first. It is ridiculous that the only means to communicate with the person who sold us the chairs is via text. The person was very spotty with responding and did not even apologize when we said one chairs was delivered defective. How does a chair, that is allegedly assembled after you place your order, get delivered defective? Where is the quality control? We did not accept delivery for the chair. The delivery guy called customer service told him of the issue and customer service called us immediately. We said we were disappointed as first time customers this happened. We asked for the afternoon delivery slot for the replacement chair, as that was best for us. When we received the confirmation of delivery, it was for 945 am - 1245pm! How is that the afternoon slot? Why give customers a choice if you will not honor it? We called and were told that if we wanted to change the time, we had to change the date! WHY would we do that when they could not follow our wishes he first time! We hope the replacement chair is in acceptable condition. So I recently moved and used bobs financing program to purchase 2 bunk beds and 2 queen bedroom sets. All went well with 3 of the 4 items but the final set was very problematic. The first time it came the entire set was broke and the driver refused to deliver it so badly damaged, the second time it was the entirely wrong order and the 3rd time they only had the footboard to the bed. Nothing else. Three failed delivery attempts was made before notifying me that my item would be out of stock for the coming months. When I requested the order be cancelled due to the lengthy wait and the previous failed deliveries I was told I’d have to pay a $900 fee for canceling my order since technically “nothing was wrong with the furniture I already had, as incomplete doesn’t mean broken). I’ve emailed corporate with NO RESPONSE !! I even asked for a temporary railing or express shipping of the bed since we were sleeping on the floor and nope nothing. They rip you off and then force you into these horrible situations with no way out. I tried calling corporate but of course there isn’t a live person and you can’t leave any voicemails. Then when I went to log onto their site to check my order status I’ve been denied access so I have no way of seeing what’s going on with my order, the financing company I’m with hasn’t been in communication with me either except to say I couldn’t use them again until the situation with Bobs is resolved. I’m okay with mistakes but this is blatant disrespect and disregard for me and my family. I’m a single mother escaping an abusive ex, this was suppose to be my fresh start and I don’t feel good about any of this. Shame on you Bobs.Bob's Discount Furniture LLC

Hello Hope, we understand your frustration about the delay in receiving your items. Our furniture is built to our specifications and comes directly from the manufacturer. The logistical process to get the furniture here has been impacted by shipping delays. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you as our customer.
This Specific set is on back order from our vendor for 3-4 months, unfortunately there is no way for us to expedite this and we are forced to wait for it to come into the warehouse to get this delivered.
We do not offer loaner furniture, however If you are unable to wait, we can offer a reselection credit on the Glamour dresser, mirror, and nightstand that are in the home so you can select something different in the show room that may be readily available. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in Bob's furniture, the quality of their furniture, and their "furniture insurance". We bought furniture from the and our couch broke within 6 months. We filed a claim with the insurance that we purchased from them just for them to NEVER get back to us with a conclusion as to whether they are going to fix or replace our couch. We tried calling them and all they could tell us was just file a claim again. We filed a claim once again just for them to respond with "We have attempted to process your furniture claim. However, we were unable to complete the process as damages you reported were already filed on a previous claim". Yes, we filed a previous claim but Bob's DID NOT get back to us regarding the claim and when we tried to get answers their answer was to just file a claim again. Now we are stuck with a broken couch that we are still paying for and a waste of insurance. We will NEVER purchase from Bob's again nor will we ever recommend them to anyone.Bob's Discount Furniture LLC
