July 2023 Sales rep (Vin) from CBS told me about the Triple Pump System. It sounded like the solution, but I was also concerned that water could be entering through cracks/holes in the foundation. Vin told me that it wasn't coming from the walls. When I asked him how he knew this, Vin told me that he had been in this business for over 20 years and that he has seen this kind of problem before. Vin went on to narrate a CGI video of how ground water enters a house. Again, I expressed my concern about possible holes/cracks in the block. Again, he assured me that this was a ground water issue only. The system was installed Aug 24 & 25. I closed up the walls mid-December. On Dec 17, water began pooling from under the new sheetrock in 3 separate places. I called Vin who instructed me to call the service dept. They told me that they couldn't come out or give me an appt. because they were swamped with emergencies. They said they would call me back. I called Vin again, left a voicemail, texted photos of the water. I didn't hear back from him or from the service dept all week. Sadly, it was only after I left a review on Yelp! that I got any response. The following week they came out. They ripped out the new sheetrock and did a "flood test" and discovered that water was coming in through 2 holes - where wires came through the block. Also, there was a horizontal crack along the entire wall. So now they need to bring in another guy to check that, but no one has told me WHEN. When I complained to Vin about not diagnosing the problem correctly, his response was that HE DOESNT HAVE X-RAY VISION AND CANT SEE THROUGH WALLS. When I asked if CBS was going to pay for new sheetrock, he went on to tell me about their poor profit margins and that I was being unreasonable. This company guarantees a dry basement. I paid 17K for a dry basement. I still have a wet basement and I'm being ignored.Connecticut Basement Systems

Connecticut basement was a pleasure to work with we had a few issues with the drainage after the installation and they stepped up, they went way and above to make sure we were fully satisfied If you are looking for anything done in your basement I would recommend calling them they stand by their work they are honorable and trustworthy and they keep their word and they do an excellent jobConnecticut Basement Systems

5 starsConnecticut Basement Systems added a full bathroom to my basement, installed a moisture control system, new stairs, a suspended ceiling, and added to / repaired existing walls. From start to finish, the project manager (Bruce) kept things moving with zero down time. Thanks to the hard-working team of carpenters (Ivan and Vidal) the project exceeded my expectations. Todd and Steve provided superior plumbing service and guidance while installing a new bathroom. And Tom did excellent work at installing recessed lighting, sconce lighting, a fan for the boiler and several other electrical installations. The job was complete in under three months from the time I first contacted Connecticut Basement Systems. Great experience!! Highly recommended.Review fromLoralea R

5 starsWe had a Sump Pump system installed about 20 years ago and we have been very pleased with it. We had a Dehumidifier system installed in the basement about 3 years ago. Both systems have been great in keeping our basement dry. We were pleased with the installation of both and also the annual maintenance. It is a bit pricey to maintain but is well worth it for the peace of mind we have. They also installed a material on our basement walls which makes the basement look so much nicer. We also are pleased with the service people who come to do the maintenance, they are professional and helpful if we have any questions. I would definitely recommend this business.
