      I had internet service from spectrum internet services, T***** *** until today
      I decided to terminate my services with them.
      The business allows discontinuing of the service on their phone number only
      When I called the number to discontinue, the customer service continued talking to continue the service, when I insisted that I need to discontinue the service, I was put on hold and phone silent for ever.
      This happened on 2 occasions.
      when I tried the 3rd time, the rep told me that they have to try everything to not take my instructions of discontinuing the service.
      when I asked for confirmation number for discontinuing, he said he would give me an order number
      this is very bad customer service from a company
      they should not be allowed to operate like this where they continue to charge and make it very difficult to discontinue their service

      Not for the store specifically but for the company call center. Spectrum: customer beware do not set up automatic payment. Overcharged for services implemented by Spectrum. Spectrum implemented TV services once I started automatic bill pay without consent. I went back and forth with 7 people getting told different things from how the tv service was added to the removal. Over charged and no solution. Iv gotten the run around. A few of the associates were nice however Rebecca was condescending. Mike was nice but wanted me to join a phone plan. I have been over charged and lied to while they read me a bs script. Very disappointed in the service and extra charges spectrum has implemented. Make sure you take automatic bill pay off or spectrum will add other services and blame you. They said they removed charges all while charging late fees and will disconnect your service.

      I just picked the closest location to me to write a review for.
      It took 40 minutes to cancel my service.
      The customer service agent literally fought with me over my reasons for canceling and refused to close my account while continuing to try to push offers onto me or "a family member or something" and not listening to a word I said. I have never yelled at a customer service agent in my life before now and this was massively frustrating and anxiety inducing.
      It is bringing up my memories of last time I had to close my account, so I might as well share that as well. I called to have my account closed twice over 2 months and they apparantly didn't do it and continued to charge me for another month after that until it automatically shut off due to non-payment.
      The service is bad, my new internet will be $8 less per month and almost double the speed, constant outages (i have an outage in your area banner on my account screen as I type this). II can't imagine why anyone would use their services, besides the contracts they have with so many places that force tenants to use them.

      They promised me a bill of 106 for 2 years for phone and Internet together and they want to charge me 2 bills for both 106 dollars

      They keep raising their rates I was paying $73 for internet they raised it to $83 now they've raised it to $93 they keep taking advantage of the low income people and don't care that we can't afford to pay for it.

      Speed was great and now it’s way too slow. But company encouraging me to upgrade and speed would work faster. This is a rip off! I’m 84 years old and can’t afford a higher price when it was working great for over a year and a half and recently going slower and slower. And again asking them why, all they tell me is to pay more for more speed??????????????

      complained about my internet and cable connection for years found out the cable to my house was bad and was bad for years. called for a discount was told they could only credit me for 3 days after years of bad service. Old cable was bare and rusty proving it was bad for a long time.
      i don't recommend spectrum they are expensive and not willing to solve problems.

      Spectrum is the most despicable. Spectrum puts the cable in despicable!! Let's start with their phone service which was awful dropped calls etc. When I went to cancel the service they kept charging my credit card for many months despite me logging in countless hours to try to remedy this issue. I finally had to cancel my credit card in order for the charges to stop. That was the first issue. Now let's talk about their internet service which kept increasing in price, so I canceled the service and they lagged on canceling the service in order to charge me for another month. When I refused to pay the balance I DID NOT owe they proceeded to put it in collections. I filed a dispute with Credit Management LP and after reviewing and disseminating my information they decided to discontinue their collection efforts.. I thought this nightmare was over... NOT!!!! Yesterday while checking my exemplary credit I noticed an unusual drop in my score.. It was Charter Spectrum. They placed my balance in collections with another collection company and never even notified me. This business Charter Spectrum has the worst customer service on the planet. When you have an issue they go out of their way to make it nearly impossible to resolve any issue that doesn't clearly benefit them.. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY CHARTER SPECTRUM!!!! I would leave them a less than One star rating if I could!!

      Speed was good, price seemed fair, but customer service is a joke.
      Their modems constantly uses IP addresses based in Washington DC, causing all sorts of problems with apps and services that base their location on the IP.
      Their solution... unplug the modem for 24 hours, or exchange it for another one.

      Spectrum engages in deceptive business practices. when you get their service they tell you that this is your price for 12 months but what they neglect to tell you is that you are subject to any price increases along the way. So you walk away thinking your price is good for a year but really it increases throughout the year. VERY DECEPTIVE!
