      Spectrum is the worst! Been working on disconnecting one phone for 3 days now and it's still not completely disconnected. Currently having to use 2 phones due to this. Can you imagine having to carry 2 phones? Also, I've been trying to get my Wifi disconnected and they customer service rep would NOT help me! He said he doesn't take orders from me. That's funny because I thought you were customer service? Wth? We've been hung up on more than once and we weren't being rude. Their customer service is HORRIBLE!!!!!!! Stay away and pick anyone else if you can!

      They forced men to get TV, when I was first a customer.. Also forced a phone line, they have a monopoly, they are shady, they force prive hikes seemingly out of the blue, while they advertise low prices. New customers are subsidized by old customers, and they got surprise rate hikes before promotions even end.... I don't understand hhow they are legally allowed to provide telecom services while being this unethical... Shut these fools down!

      This ISP is a joke, all spectrum cares about is bullying their customers to thr point of frustration
      Tonight I was in middle of playing a game (Rust) and all the sudden Spectrum disconnects me not once, but 3 times while playing. I do NOT recommend Spectrum as I place to do business with if I were you, take your money and run! And Spectrum does not give any notice of any equipment updates (their modem)
      Not only that bugs me Spectrum does not honor symmetric bandwidths like (10 gig down / 10 gig up. ) I can not for the life of me connect to any game server any faster than a slug on a tree branch.
      I once again I do NOT Recommend Spectrum as an ISP to do business with.

      If I could give spectrum less than a star, I would. DON’T sign up if you can avoid it. The customer service both on the phone and in person is terrible! The internet service was awful. High speed internet only lasted a week. Then is slowed way down.
      Trying to cancel their service was worse than a nightmare! The man on the phone outright REFUSED to cancel my service. No exaggeration, it went on for 20 mins before I hung up. He was rude and kept offering me different packages. I literally told him you couldn’t pay me to keep spectrum service and I just wanted it canceled. He wouldn’t stop talking over me and demanding I listen to what he had to offer. I finally hung up and called back. It was another ordeal for them to finally cancel my service.
      Now let’s move on to trying to return the equipment. I went in and waited in line (no idea they required a reservation). Only to be told they won’t take the box back without a reservation. The woman was very rude about it. She literally said to me “we don’t work like that. You need to wait your turn like all these other people, you’re not special”. Wow! I get home and find I have a $57 bill for not returning the equipment. It was 5 days after the disconnect date and it was a long holiday weekend and they weren’t open! I made a reservation only to go into the store once again and told my reservation couldn’t be found. So, they still would not take back their equipment. The entire experience and the exchanges with all of their customer service agents were SO SO bad. I can’t stress enough how bad it was and to AVOID Spectrum at all costs! We couldn’t even connect to WiFi to use our phones because there was always an outage or an issue. They don’t knock anything off your bill for terrible service or outages. It’s just best to find a different provider or use your cell phone hot spots. Yes! Lol hot spot service actually worked better.

      I called spectrum Saturday, August 27th to notify them a line was down in my driveway. A tech came out and saw the line and stated that there was nothing he could do as it had electricity coming out of it and he did not want to get electrocuted. I am not a cable tech, so I took his word for it. I told him that I work tomorrow (Sunday, August 28th) at the hospital. He assured me that another tech would be out first thing in the morning on Sunday to fix the cable in my driveway. Sunday comes around and passes. I call Spectrum back on Monday to see what the hold-up was and was notified that the tech did not inform them that someone needs to come back out to fix the cable. I told them what the previous tech told me about the wire and that I have to work. I was transferred to a manager to place a damage report and was informed that the line most likely did not have electricity in it also the manager was not sure why the first tech didn't do the job nor put in a follow-up request. I missed two days of work (12-hour shifts at $27 an hour) and received two administrative points because I missed work due to your tech being too lazy to complete the job! Corp would not offer an apology or compensation for the missed work and the inconvenience it caused me even after I showed pictures that the line was behind my car blocking me in my driveway.

      I’ve lived in a low income senior complex for 5 years and get cable in a bulk rate. Since them I’ve rented a dvr box and have had 13 boxes and been told by several techs that we DONT GET NEW BOXES!! Only people that pay full price get new boxes but I’ve been paying for dvr device that never works. I’m being discriminated against. I’m reporting this to other state agencies that regulate your commerce here in ******. I shouldn’t have to pay for equipment that doesn’t work.

      It's not fair that they don't offer service in the new area I moved and they couldn't prorate the bill since I had canceled at the beginning of the billing cycle. If Spectrum doesn't offer service in the new area they should make an exception for such customers and prorate the bill. They shouldn't just charge for a service they cannot offer. That's not good business. That's not an ethical business practice!

      Lowest Internet was $75 mo. I was told increase to next highest speed for $95 mo. Outage probs cont. Contacted them again. Told to buy new equip. Worked for 6 mos approx. Internet has been on/off every day for the last mo. Check outage map & call. Told no outages. Contact for svc call & told it's due to connection from outside to inside or inside to modem. Received text saying svc has now been restored & to cancel svc call. Too many people in same co always complain of same outage & intermittent issues & also told no probs exist they can see. Worst co ever because they're 1 of 2 in only avail in area.

      After being a customer of ********** and then Spectrum for twenty of the last twenty two years, I was disappointed to find out that while leaving Spectrum I would get the privilege of paying $94.99 AFTER I had closed my account. Apparently, my service is from August 18th-September 18th. I called after August 18th, so I was billed today, Sep 6th for my "prepaid" subscription, which is clearly stated on the bill every month, or so the manager tells me. I was assured I could apply this service at my new location, but they don't provide service where I moved to ... what a sad way to end a great relationship. No mention of pro-rating, no option to reduce the service to less than 600MB/sec...frustrating for someone that praised them for a lot of years.

      When I signed up with Spectrum for my internet/tv/phone in April 2022 I asked the sales rep if I could change the tv portion to less channels in the future. I wanted to lower the monthly bill of $149.57. In three years my introductory package will increase to over $218.00.
      He said that in September I could choose 10, 14, 20 or 30 channels "ala carte" and that I could have a lower bill depending on what I chose. Today I was informed that any change from my basic streaming service would in fact increase the bill by $25.00. There are no less expensive choices for smaller channel selections. Spectrum's sales representatives misrepresented its product. I believed that I could lower my cost this month, and I have been sorely duped. Shame on Spectrum for your sleazy, deceitful sales practices!! How many millions of dollars will you filch from your customers? Have you no conscience- are you just an amoral corporation?
