      What a horrible company! I called to discontinue service and mentioned that I'm doing so because my mother has passes away. Rather than simply cancelling as they might have done for any other reason, they are going to require additional paperwork and hoops to jump through. Had I merely said, "discontinue immediately because we're changing providers" and it would have been simpler. But no, better to punish the grieving. Miserable company!

      I cancelled my Spectrum Cable service on March 22, 2022. I returned all equipment on March 24, 2022. Since then, they have been trying to get me to pay for the service from March 25, 2022 thru April 17, 2022. I should not have to pay for services not rendered. I sent them a pro-rated payment to cover the service received from March 18, 2022 thru March 24, 2022. I should not have to pay for services not rendered. I want the bill marked "paid in full".

      I cancelled my service with them on August 24, 2022 and returned their equipment the same day. I have received a bill of $264 for the billing cycle of August 23 to Sept 22. I called them and was told I owe because it’s a monthly cycle and I cancelled on the 24th and therefore owe the entire month as they do not prorate. When I returned the equipment, the guy told me I would receive a bill for the couple days still of service. I told this to the gal I spoke with it and she just said you owe it and good luck with that. Every month my bill increased and that’s why I decided to cancel. The customer service stinks. They are not helpful and just plan rude.

      If I could leave negative stars, I would. I have lived in three different locations thus far within 18 years and at each place I have lived in florida, I have had connectivity issues to which I have never been compensated. I work from home 7 days a week and its pertinent that I need to always be connected online. I was working today when I lost connection and when I contacted them, it was said that there was an issue in the area. A submission was placed for compensation and it was said that only if I have lost connection for 4hrs would I be compensated. So you mean to tell me that I have to lose 4 hours of work in order for it to be considered a problem and be compensated? That is unacceptable.

      I requested a new cable line drop last week from Spectrum. First contractor shows up and says I can’t do that and I am not qualified. He calls Spetrum Dispatch and explains circumstances. Dispatch rescheduled for two days later with promise of qualified technicians. New cable technician shows up for appointment and quickly says I can’t do that. I don’t have the tools or skill. After he has a discussion with Spectrum Dispatch I am assured that on Sunday morning at 9:00am the job will start ! Well Sunday morning technician shows up and says I need to go to the shop for tools to phish the wire. 30 minutes later technician returns and asked to reschedule. I personally spoke with Spectrum’s Dispatch and Technicians Supervisor we will try again on Tuesday afternoon. The SAD Part about this is I am nearing 70. Twenty years agoI woul have done it all buy myself. GOD HELP US ALL!

      Spectrum has been making spoofed phone calls constantly. Our number is on the National No Call Registry, and Spectrum has been told this. Yet they continue to harass with their spoofed sales calls. I have filed a complaint with the States Attorney General and want others having similar experience to do the same.

      spectrum is stealing from customers. They keep changing the rates without informing customers. The service is horrible and is always down. Wish I could rate it 0 stars. They don’t deserve even one.

      For many years now, Charter has been unreliable. Every time a technician comes out, I am told they need to access a box at the top of a pole in our backyard. There is a no climb warning on the pole, so they continue to tell me they will get the pole and the box replaced. Every technician tells me they will put in a service ticket for it. Every time, nothing is done but adding notes to the account.
      Chatting on the Spectrum website just now with a technical person, I was told the following which I copied directly from the chat:
      There is a note on the previous appointment itself saying "SENT INFO TO LEADERSHIP ABOUT BAD POLE IN BACKYARD TO ENGAGE CONSTRUCTION ROUTER SWAP/BOX ON POLE WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED SPECIAL REQUEST WOULD HAVE TO PUT IN" but no maintenance work order.
      The tech person mentioned they needed to get a technician to come back out to place the work order. Why has this not been done every other time they come out here then? And why can Charter not use those notes to schedule the replacement? You would think if it was noted several times now that they would follow through and put in the maintenance work order. Yet somehow I pay sky-high prices for unreliable internet without any offered discounts for my time and lack of service.
      I received notice a couple of weeks ago that Charter was increasing our internet speeds for free to 300 Mbps, yet since then, it seems we are slower than ever.
      I will be following my neighbors with their decisions to switch internet providers as Charter is not following through with what they promised so many times now.

      Called to cancel their internet service. The lady on the other side took 1+ hour, constantly tried to either (a) mock me for leaving Spectrum, (b) tried to upsell me their internet service, (c) tried to cross-sell me their mobile or tv service, (d) put me on hold for long stretches of time, (e) tried to convince me that they also provided me an ***** TV device which needs to be adjusted, which they actually had never given... After being very polite with her for 40 mins, I finally lost my patience and told her to stop up-selling or cross-selling me stuff, and just cancel the internet service. Ultimately she did. Very frustrating experience. Will never want to do business with them again.

      Terrible customer service. Had spectrum for 5 years while my daughter and son in law lived with us. When they moved out I got Spectrum in my name. Was very clear with representative that we were elderly customers on a fixed income and needed to watch out monthly payment. Everything sounded great New equipment was shipped in to coordinated with end of my son in laws account so we would not lose service. Even transferred phone service. Set up all new equipment. Everything worked except my husbands lap top could not see the new internet service. Keep in mind five minutes before changing router he was on line with Spectrum. When calling customer service they tried several things. I told the women that he can log in into to other peoples internet just not ours. She said he had to call the manufacturing of the computer. Did not make sense to me. I was very angry. Four days later I called their corporate customer service. I was told his computer is old I need to update it or buy a new computer. I said can I not get a router like we had before it worked five minutes before I connected the new one she said no. They don’t make it anymore. I should understand that all devices need to be update. I said you should tell people a head of time that this could happen. My husband is 82 and very upsets and does not understand. So I now need to see if my computer can me updated or buy a new computer Really!!! Shame on me for being a senior citizen and not keeping up with technology. I would not recommend Spectrum to anyone. Never did anyone even apologize that this happened
