I have relied on Spectrum services for years, and there very reliable and no commitment contracts. Representatives are very easy to understand and professional support. Bundle, phone Internet and tv. If take vacation you can pause services. Options for internet and cellular phones are fare priced. I wish Spectrum t.v the best of success for there true commitment to great value in entertainment

This compact is a greedy corporation, not customer friendly at all, still charged me for Internet service when I canceled it and will not close my account until I pay. They only want money they don’t provide good services.

I am absolutely frustrated with spectrum. I canceled my internet service with them because the line was no longer needed. I called to get the charge removed and they refuse to prorate my account. I am so incredibly disappointed by how this was handled by them . I still pay $85 a month for internet THAT I DID NOT USE. Never will I use spectrum again.

Spectrum customer service is terrible. I was a customer for 12 years, and since 2020 had repeated service drops. I would call, they suggested a new router, firmware updates, and continued to increase my bill year over year. I finally switched companies and had to cancel my service. The customer service rep not only talked down to me, but then was very aggressive in his sales tactics to attempt to get me to stay. He then lied to me that my previous bill covered my payment through June and they do not prorate payments. I left the call frustrated but that was the end. I called back 2 weeks later when I realized they billed my account again. I was met with more confrontation and told that this payment is actually my payment for May and no they do not prorate even though I only had service for 3 days. I explained why I canceled and the service rep manager tried telling me I never called in with issues even though I called multiple times this year. I even replaced my router twice in 6 months, and I would not have known to do that unless I had called them! Stay away from spectrum, they drop your service and try to act like its your fault their service sucks.

Had to cancel service because I moved and I have to pay another whole month bill because I moved 2 days after I payed the last bill. Paying for an extra month of service without receiving the service.
If I could give them a negative star rating, I would.

After signing up for a two year promo offer, I received my first bill and it noted the promo was for 12 months. After contacting customer service three different times to have this corrected, I was informed each time that they could only show 12 months but it would update for another 12 months automatically. Then after receiving my bill on the 13th month the bill was much higher, and after calling again to have this corrected, I was informed that the offer was no longer available. Not only is this sales fraud, it is unacceptable to not honor advertising. Charter Spectrum is committing fraudulent advertising to lure customers.

I switched from **** to Spectrum based on their Contract Buyout Program, which was misrepresented by their in-store staff. I was told all I needed to do was return my phone, and Spectrum would handle the rest. I was never informed that I needed to upload my final bill from AT&T or complete an online form.
To make matters worse, Spectrum created my account using the wrong name and email address, which meant I had no access to my account and never received critical instructions. Because of their error, I missed the window to submit my final **** bill and am now still being charged by **** — while Spectrum has been billing me consistently.
I’ve contacted Spectrum multiple times, but no one has taken accountability. This has caused financial harm and a lot of frustration. I’ve filed formal complaints with the FCC, the BBB, and the ***** ******** Department of Consumer Affairs. Consumers should be extremely cautious with this company and get everything in writing — because they do not follow through on what they promise.

I’ve had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with Spectrum. Back in September 2022, I clearly told the agent over the phone that I only wanted mobile and internet service. Instead, they added Spectrum Voice (a home phone service I never asked for or used) and pressured me into signing up for a TV package, falsely claiming I needed it to receive a promotional deal.
I don’t even own a home phone, and no one ever asked if I use one. Later, I found out I was being billed for these services I never used — Voice, TV, and even a WiFi fee that was added without explanation and kept increasing. Despite never using TV at all (especially after moving), I was still charged for it.
Every time I called to fix these issues, I was passed from agent to agent, with long hold times and no real help. The supervisors even suggested I pay extra for better internet, ignoring my concerns. They could clearly see I had never made a single call using the phone service — the virtual phonebook and call history were completely empty — yet no one offered to remove the service or issue a refund.
One supervisor rudely told me it doesn’t matter whether I use the service — if it’s on the bill, I have to pay for it. That’s completely unacceptable.
After I got a small partial refund from my bank, Spectrum began calling and messaging me constantly, saying I owed them over $300. This level of harassment after all the stress and financial loss is shocking.
I’ve now canceled Spectrum’s internet service and filed a formal dispute. I’m sharing this to warn others: check your bills closely and do not assume you’re getting only what you requested. What was sold to me as a “promotion” ended up being an expensive, deceptive trap.

Disappointing Service and No Support for Active Duty Military. As a U.S. Army veteran, I'm incredibly disappointed in Spectrum's lack of support for military personnel. While under official military orders, I attempted to cancel my service and requested a prorated final bill, something any reasonable company should accommodate. Instead, I was told I would be charged for the full billing cycle, regardless of my situation. Customer service was unhelpful, dismissive, and showed no understanding of the unique circumstances that come with military service. I provided all the documentation required, yet was met with zero flexibility or compassion. For a company that claims to support the community, Spectrum has a long way to go in understanding what true support looks like, especially for those who serve. I would not recommend Spectrum to any military family or anyone who values respectful and responsive customer service.
