On 2/8/2024 i went on Fraudulent website RapidAddress posing as USPS address change website. Went through the whole process and entered card information, just like you do with USPS, then was suddenly charged $68.00 without any confirmation or notification of price. I've attempted to contact and they never pick up, never sent a confirmation email. On 2/8/2024 RapidAddress did a TLR (BOA) teller Cashed Check hood for $50.00. I immediately called BOA and reported a fraud claim. BOA froze my 2 checking account froze my debit card and told me the best thing to do was open a new checking account. I did and asked for a separate debit card. At 12:47pm on 2/9/2024 RapidAddress did the same to the new checking account I opened online after 9 pm on 2/8/2024. I transferred all my money in to Wells Fargo after first transferred in into CashApp then transferred into my Wells Fago then canceled the Cash App account and card. I only left a couple of dollarsin my compromised BOA checking accouns so the accounts stay open while I wait for BOA Fraud Dept to give me my $100.00, then I will close all accounts with BOA. I have changed my userand name, password, changed my cell phone number, and created a new email address. I am going to peruse and get RapusAddress exposed if it takes the rest of my life.Initial Complaint

I attempted to change my address via the USPS when I moved and was led to this site which claimed to be able to provide that service. As far as I can tell, there has been no service provided at all, when it was advertised that this company would work with the USPS to change your address. I was charged $68 on 2/5/2024 and there was no warning of this charge when entering payment information. I did not even get a confirmation order number or anything to track. I just got a very generic email with no legitimate information. This company is a scam that is offering services for which they do not provide.Initial Complaint

The site was sponsored on google and appeared to be affiliated with USPS. They charged me 68 dollars to change my address and the amount did not appear until after I had entered my card information. My bank immediately flagged this as a scam and fraudulent charges. The site is misleading.Initial Complaint

Thought it was the usps web site and put in for a address change. Looked at my banking account today and see the withdrawal for 68.00 knowing g that the charge should have been 1.10.Initial Complaint

Went to usps to change my address, turned out to be a scam site. Charge $68 without my knowledge. Phone number doesn't work, email doesn't work. Disputed the charge with my card as soon as I saw the receipt pop up for $68. Husband said I would have to pay on usps for only $1 to verify my identity.Initial Complaint

2/3/24 $68.00 Rapid address change Did not show any charge until after I hit submit. I sent them 3 chat mails with no response. This site is a scam because everyone complaining was charged a different amount. Some were charged $178, some $68 (like myself). The screen showed $200 with a line drawn through it and $68 was my charge. The USPS does not charge for change of address. One person said they contacted the BBB and got their money back immediately. I’m begging for your help. I’m a senior citizen on a fixed income and do not like nor can afford to be scammed. Thank you for any help you can give me.Initial Complaint

I am moving from my current apartment in Shawnee, Kansas and moving to Lenexa, Kansas, I wanted to change my address to have my mail sent to the new place, I thought I was on the USPS website, instead I was directed to, so I filled out the change of address form on rapidaddresschange.org, unaware I was paying $68 for the change of address, I was furious, I cannot afford to be forking over that kind of money, I want a refundInitial Complaint

On 2/3/24 I attempted to change my address after a move. I googled USPS address change and clicked on the USPS link like I always do. I filled out the form that came up and filled out the payment page which didn't surprise me as USPS has always charged $1.10 to confirm identity for an online address change. It wasn't till after I processed that payment and a confirmation page came up saying I paid $68 that I realized I got sent to rapidaddresschange.com instead! There was no indication that the charge was that much till AFTER I was charged. I don't even know if I actually changed my address or I just paid for a data broker to get my information! I want my money back and confirmation that my data is safe!Initial Complaint

I was looking to change my mailing address and the web site was set up as a scam site to catch people unaware and lead to spending money without providing a service.
