Lousy customer service. I’ve been on hold now for 2 hours 45 minutes for a relationship manager.
Had a credit card statement of 15000 to be paid March 31 2022 I paid full amount March 25th 2022 they reported to the credit bureau April 1st that I was late, when I called them they recognized the payment but I still owed what was on the statement. Got a late charge and a downgrade on credit even though balance showed zero on their website even the rep said that was correct. I’m talking with the stupid visor she said another 15000 would be taken from my checking account for autopay on the statement and I could request it back.??????????WTFBarclays Bank Delaware

After spending hours on the phone with "customer no-service" and the "Fraud Investigations Unit" I barely have the strength or desire to write anything at all regarding this company. There customer service department is off-shore which accounts for a large part of the problem. I had fraud on three cards within three weeks. One of the cards was a replacement card that I never received. How does that happen???? Someone accessed my account and changed the mailing address, email address and telephone number. The account is password protected. How does that happen????? Clearly, someone on the inside is selling data. At the end of the day this is just a business that doesn't much care about the level of service they provide to their customers. One only needs to read the reviews to realize what a hot mess this company is. I'm sure they attract more new customers each day than they loose on a daily basis so in their eyes everything is fine. If the CEO ever tried calling in through his/her call center they would realize how abysmal their service is. There are may other companies that provide much better service, i.e. American Express for one is heads and tails about Barclaycard. Don't waste your time with this company!!Barclays Bank Delaware

This credit card company is a bunch of scammers. They offer 0% balance transfers for 6 months then after a month of waiting they tell you oh we didn't have the routing number. Even though I had spoken to 4 people. Then "Jay" claims he's the highest authority and that ill have to wait another 10 business days. So the 6 months 0 % is now more like 4Barclays Bank Delaware

By far the worst experience I have ever had with a credit card company. I have had the Old Navy card for years but it has been a nightmare since Barclays took over. Statements have arrived late or not at all causing me to have late payment which they promptly charged a late fee of more than the balance on the card. When I spoke to customer service I was assured that it had been removed but it was not. The fee showed up on the next statement now with interest. I then called and requested that the fee be waived and the account be closed. Again, I was assured that this would be taken care of and my account would reflect a zero balance on my next statement and the account would be closed. Again, this was not properly executed, as I received notification via email that I needed to login to my account to pay my outstanding balance on my past due account. No dice, I was locked out of the account and told to contact customer service. Today when I called, I was told that the account had been closed but that there were now 2 late fees and interest on those fees. I asked to speak to a manager but was told there were none available. Once again, I asked the person on the line to review the notes so that hopefully she could see that the fees had been waived. She was unable to pull up the notes but once again assured me that the fees had been waived, my account balance was zero and the account was closed. I have no confidence that this will be the case based on my past experience but I have at least documented the date and the name of the customer service rep that I spoke with. After wasting hours of my time, not only will I never do any type of business with Barclays again, I am will no longer be spending my money at Old Navy or any affiliates.Barclays Bank Delaware

We applied for a Princess Rewards Credit Card through Barclays, with the understanding that we would receive 10,000 points toward Princess purchases after the first purchase. We made our first purchase and received no extra 10,000 points. I called Barclays and they referred me to Princess. I called Princess and they referred me back to Barclays. When I called Barclays again, they tried to refer me to Princess again, but I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor created a case, gave me the case # and referred to case to the resolution department. I got a letter from the Resolution Department about 2 weeks later denying my request for the 10,000 points and giving me a number to call in order to get the reason why. I called the number and was told that they had no record of offering 10,000 points along with the credit card. Both the Princess cruiseline website and the Barclays showed the offer! So I cancelled the credit card! If Barclays is not going to honor their offers, they should take the offers off the advertisements! Very bad customer service. After 4 months of investigation they wrote a letter to me declaring that I am not responsible for the fraud charge. Yet, 2 more months passed and I still am not able to get this credit. I called them 4 times and they acted like they don’t know anything.Barclays Bank Delaware

JetBlue Barclay is a horrible card. Those azzholes reported me to the credit bureau without notifying me for $15.00 fukcing dollars. I paid off a full balance on August 2022 thinking I wasn’t going to have a balance after that. September 5th, 15.00 automatic debit was charged. Barclays charged an entire $15.00 late fee on 09/12/2022. Basically, I had 7 days to make a payment. Then on October 12, another late fee for 39.00. Then these azzholes reported me to the credit bureau on October 15th for a whopping $88.00. FCRA says banks are suppose to notify customers within 30 days that they are reporting to the credit bureau. But this bank did none of that. You know whats crazy? The charges on my card were all fraudulent Amazon prime charges are for someone else’s account. Someone stole my credit card information and used it for their Amazon prime account. Now, my credit score dropped 80 points. Late charges stay on your credit report for 7 years. Called up Barclays representative who stated that it’s a computer that automatically charges late fees and automatically reports to the credit bureau. The representative agreed to remove September late charge. But that’s not enough. Theyve took 20 years of my hard work of repairing my credit. Never been assessed a lateness in over 20 years. Late credit card payment stays on your credit card for 7 years. Barclays is an absolutely terrible credit card. Run away from this card!!!Barclays Bank Delaware

1 starRecieved my AAdvantage card through an American Airlines Promotion promising 50,000 bonus miles and NO annual fee for the first year. As of my second monthly statement, no bonus miles have been credited and an annual fee ($99) has been charged. I spoke to customer service 5 days ago and was assured the situation would be rectified within 3 to 4 days. I called again today (nov 11, 022) only to be put on hold with no response 3 times. I just got a new AARP Barclays Card, and this card and their company SUCKS. Nothing works. The customer support is extremely lacking. No brains. I was trying to spend enough to get the 200 dollar bonus, but it is NOT EVEN WORTH IT. My card doesn't work. I can't buy anything. I usually lock my card to protect myself, and I locked it last night. But now tonight, I'm trying to pay for something and I can't do anything. Don't use this card and this company. They are the worst card company in the WORLD. I'm just going to close my account if I can't get this to work. Also their layout on the website is terrible. It doesn't show your transactions. And like someone said, it's very hard to navigate around the website. Not worth the trouble. I'm getting rid of this crap card.Barclays Bank Delaware

I wish Old Navy credit card never switched over to Barclay!
They purposely reject your payments to add late fees & will reject your automatic payments as well. Eventually, they will withdraw the ENTIRE balance from your Bank account. I filed a claim with my bank. I authorized the minimum payment NOT MY ENTIRE BALANCE. As a result, they sent me a letter doubling my interest rate. They STILL reject my payments after I spoke with Numerous representatives. I even tried making payments using a Different bank account.
I DECIDED TO PAID OFF MY BALANCE .
But they are still charging me interest fees AFTER paying off my entire balance.
