      Customer service was awful!
I had a cab driver overcharge me $948 in Paris. Yes, I gave him my card but he did not offer a receipt. I notified Chase within 24 hours and they told me it was not fraud because I owed $14.
Further appeals were denied, a receipt with a signature (not mine) was produced by the cab company. Chase continued to refused to investigate. They never responded to my last letter, nor notified me that the charge would appear on my bill 8 months later. On my repeated phone inquires, I was always told the were still investigating. There was is no proof of any investigation. I am very disappoint ed they would not support me on an obviously fraudulent overcharge.

for several weeks, I have not been able to login to our accounts at Chase. Every time we call, they tell us that the tech area will fix and contact us within 4-5 days. Nothing has happened. My wife received a call from Chase recently to ask if we could login. I thought Oh great, they fixed it. No it has not been fixed. It is not on my end. I have attempted from multiple computers. It seems that I have logged in, but the screen just goes blue and nothing happens. On one call, the non tech person at Chase attempted to login using our info and saw the issue. We charge in excess of $50,000 per year on the various personal and business cards. Apparently they do not care.

I've had an outstanding balance with Chase Visa for consecutive years, with a high balance; even having maxed it out at one point. I was charged purchase interest fees for an outstanding balance, every month for years with a high Annual Percentage Rate. When I would apply for other cards I was denied; limited income/high balance= bad credit. My biggest mistake with my credit card was paying recurring bills, utilities, and subscriptions with it. I remember months, my budget was the amount I paid on my balance minus annual automatic payments and interest charge. "When I could, I started making larger payments and cut expenses to depreciate the balance. It wasn't until I started paying annual payments with cash and discontinued use of the card, that I was able to make real progress in paying off my debt. Soon after, my credit limit with Chase Visa was increased, without provocation, as my credit score started to rise. I applied for a credit card, from another financial institution, with an introductory 0% APR for 15 months. I Transfered the entirety of the balance from Chase last month. The request was recognized by them the 1st of the following month, and approved the 5th. I incurred an interest purchase charge after the balance transfer "for the prior month" according to customer service; "They're unable to dismiss the fee as a courtesy". Customer loyalty is not rewarded in the loan industry; introductory offers have the best terms and the only upside of maintaining an open line of credit is its impact on your credit score. Diversify your credit lines and budget to pay off your balances before introductory terms expire. When they expire, discontinue use of the card as a credit line by paying the entire balance every billing cycle. Apply for another credit line with more favorable introductory terms; rinse and repeat. I'm mostly dissatisfied by the consequences of incorrectly navigating the credit and loan industry and lack of courtesy over a comparably petty charge.

Awful customer service. Be aware- you are not protected from fraud with a Chase credit card. I have never experienced the type of run around with a credit card company like I have with Chase. I was overcharged, under fraudulent terms, for hotel rooms through a third party. Even with ample documentation and statements from several people, Chase sided with the merchant after each appeal. I received almost no documentation from Chase after they closed out my complaint each time, forcing me to continually call to check on the progress. Each representative I spoke with acted like my uploaded documentation and statements weren’t in the file. I was actually told once that the only statement in the file was from the merchant; that representative had to go back through numerous files to find any of my statements. I felt like Chase automatically sided with the merchant and it would not have mattered what I said or what proof I submitted. When I told a Chase representative that, he basically agreed and told me to let it go, because the fraud department didn’t care enough to amend their initial decision. More than the money, it’s the principle of the matter. I will be closing all my Chase accounts because I don’t feel as if my money will be protected from fraud and overcharging by unscrupulous merchants. Very disappointed in Chase; do not recommend any credit card serviced through Chase.

Honestly, Chase nees to be investigated for wrongfully advertising "Approved" credit cards. To clarify, NO I do not mean PRE-approved. This is extremely misleading and at the consumer's credit point cost. After opening the Chase app to Zelle a friend I noticed that the app said I was "APPROVED" for three credit cards. Thinking this was a guaranteed chance at increasing my credit availability, I chose a card and proceeded to fill in information. I then get a letter the next day saying I was denied. I'd understand if I was actively seeking a card out and filling out extensive applications but I wasn't. I could just imagine the amount of people mislead into thinking they're already approved just to have a hard credit inquiry in vain. I could tell the marketing probably had to get their application numbers up and shammed people with a misleading message about them being approved. This is unethical. I just wish there were enough people with the same experience that would speak up about it because this is not right.

To the Chase credit card customer service rep who said "Wow, that sounds like a male name" during a customer service phone call regarding my daughter, do better. Chase, train your staff not to be bigots.

I fell for the Amazon, Chase, Prime, Visa card offer on Amazon. The automatic, monthly billing by that card for Amazon Prime was buried deep in the fine print. Although I was getting mailed, monthly statements from Chase, I just filed them away as I knew I had never used the card. Then I found out I was three months behind on paying a bill that I had never charged. I complained, citing predatory lending practices. Chase finally removed the overdue fees and interest charges, and the account is in good standing. BUT, they will not remove the late payment report on my credit report. This is the only late payment on my credit report in ten years, yet it prevented me from getting a good interest rate on a Home Equity Loan. I cannot get Chase to help with removing the late payment flag on my credit reports. Customer Service has been cold, dismissive and patronizing. How do I get this unfair, late payment credit report removed? Avoid Chase - There are much better, honest card services out there.

Had Chase Amazon Prime CC for ~1yr now with little problems, but signed up for automatic payment (had one month late fee) and it only paid ~$5 instead of paid off balance in full; this is not even MIN payment due. I did not get charged a late fee, but thought it stated would be paid in full each month at due date. If this happens again will cancel Chase CC. Will try email Chase to correct, but no idea if they will. One more chance for them to fix or I'm out. Unethical business practice or some computer mistake? Can't tell any more with businesses?

I paid $95 annual fee and got a chase credit card several months ago. Their customer service is the worst one in my experience. They are very rude, impatient, dishonest, and lack common knowledge…

I made a hotel reservation through their travel portal, specifically selecting a suite. However, upon confirmation directly with the hotel, I was informed that my reservation was for a King bed room instead. This discrepancy led to nearly three hours of discussion with various representatives in an attempt to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, none of them were able to assist me, attributing the issue solely to a glitch in their booking system, showing little concern for the inconvenience caused to me as a customer.

Fortunately, I took the initiative to directly contact the hotel to verify my reservation. If upon my check-in date, I find that the room provided is not a suite as initially booked, it would not just be a matter of a refund. It would reflect a serious discrepancy between what was promised and what was delivered, raising concerns about the integrity of both the hotel and the travel booking system. Such a situation is unacceptable and could be considered fraudulent.

This issue goes beyond a mere financial concern; it questions the trustworthiness and reliability of the services provided. As a customer, it's disheartening to encounter such discrepancies, especially when they potentially compromise the integrity of a booking system and the reputation of the hotel.
