I am surprised with Chase because I’ve had them over 20years. I have their Chase preferred credit card and i booked a trip via them. My brother has two last names and I’m very sure i put his name on there. I just noticed that they never added added the second one. I reached out to the airline as i was told by Chase to see if i can change it.
The airline said that i couldn’t change via them bcs i booked through chase.

Called chase back and they’re saying that there waiting on a link from the airline . But when i called the day before they said that the airline had to change it . They keep giving me the back and fourth and telling lies. The supervisor kept repeating herself .

She kept changing her story. Now i sent 4 people to chase sapphire card but now I’m done . BEWARE THIS COMPANY! They don’t help at all, their customer service sucks . Just book through the airline personally . Because if something happens they can’t help you and they don’t care about your trip !

I ordered a credit card on line in march 2023. I never received the credit card. On 5/24/2023, i received an email about concert tickets that are available thru Saphire perferred. I called Customer service and was informed that they will sent a new credit card immediately. I asked them to start the annual fee for 5/2023 not 3/2023. I spoke to a supervisor who was unsympathetic. Just another terrible experience dealing with CHase.

Like Steph T… I signed up for a 0% interest balance transfer and moved funds to my Chase card. I then paid my balance (not counting the transfer) in full, as I do every month.

My next statement showed a finance charge. When I asked Chase - they explained that bc of the transfer I had to pay the entire balance in full to avoid a charge on my pre-transfer balance (even though I paid it in full). Meaning I had to pay my purchases balance PLUS the amount I transferred.

What good is a 0% offer if you have to pay it in full immediately to avoid a charge on your other balances/purchases? I’d have been better off leaving the transfer on the other card! The amount of my purchases (paid in full) exceeded the amount I transferred. So I paid MORE to Chase than if I’d left the smaller balance on my other card!!!!

Next month - same thing - only even more interest bc I had more purchases (that I again paid in full).

This is such an outright scam and I’m livid. Will be paying off the full balance this month to avoid more charges.

They keep raising my rate on my Charge Card and it is more than I can afford. I am doing my best to keep my finances in order, to keep a roof over my head and to maintain a motor vehicle for my transportation. I am retired from a 24 year career at Chase Bank and have been a customer for 40 years.

Awful bank. Do not do business with Chase. They tell you they will reimburse you for items that are stolen when purchased on there charge card. Good luck. They will call you a liar and deny your claim. Chase makes you feel like you did something wrong. I have been a customer for 19 years. No more. There ********************************************** are useless. A bunch of idiots work for them.

Chase's balance transfer with 0% interest for the first year offer is an absolute lie and scam that should be illegal.

I had a SMALL balance (like $500) before doing a much larger balance transfer. However, I am now being charged ~$55/month in interest despite making significant progress towards paying it down. When I reached out about the surprise interest rate charge, I got their legalese song and dance saying I had to pay the 'credit saving balance,' which is the ENTIRE bill, to take advantage of that offer. I am reporting them to the BBB, although I doubt they'll do anything. How many thousands/millions of people have been sold this scam of a transfer? DO NOT DO IT unless you currently have a zero balance on your card and do not plan to ever use it again for anything else. Otherwise, apparently this microscopically fine print kicks in and they start charging you interest on the entire balance. #ChaseScams

Applied for a business credit card with a 739 credit score on Experian. They checked my credit and it dropped to 731 which is normal. Kept asking for more and more documentation to which I promptly sent them. After continuously sending them more information, they checked my credit again a month later and it dropped to 713 to which they didnt approve me because they didnt have enough information (even though I sent them all the required documentation they asked for). I have 0 debt, 3 years of credit history, and a ************************************************* Waste of my time, effort, and energy just to have my credit dinged almost 30 points.

I hope people do their research on credit card providers before selecting one. I DO NOT recommended ***************** Chase. I have an impeccable record and have been a long time customer of a ******************** credit card. I had my first dispute with a charge for the first and only time since being a member. I was very optimistic before calling that it would be a simple process and resolution. That was far from the case. I was confronted with attitude and resistance right from the start. It wasnt even a large amount of money either. I am very principal driven so it was the principal of the matter that bothered me with the resistance and reluctancy to resolve my issue. If enough people take the time to file complaints like this eventually companies like this will be held accountable. This usually happens by affecting their bottom line by losing customers or potential new customers. Stay away from Chase if you are adamant about receiving great customer service.

      I opened up a Southwest Card 1/2023.

Shortly there after (like four days) Southwest Chase had a
promotion for 30,000 points and companion pass bonus.
I called Chase and spoke to a representative, I explained the
issue and requested the promotion bonus offer.
She stated that she could honor the promotion
because the window was so close. I needed to spend $4000
in 90 days. I would see the companion pass in an email.
After two months and already spending $4000. I called back
to be told that after chase confirmed the balance, I would
see the email of of the companion pass.
In April, I still did not see anything. I
called again. I was told by a new person that I WAS
SUPPOSE TO CALL IN AFTER I SPENT $4000 to LET CHASE KNOW I
SPENT THE required amount. She stated she sees that I
did spend $4000 and "made note of it in the system" then
stated I would see my companion pass via email or USPS in
      two weeks.
ON 4/18/23, I get a letter telling me that my
account isn't eligible for the bonus offer.
I called immediately and person told me that this matter needed to be escalated
and that was initially told to me by the first person back
in JAN, second person (in FEB) and third person(APRIL) was
      WRONG???
I asked for a manager. I was connected to
Ben. Ben would not provide a last name and was eating
something & really not interested in my call. He pretty
much stated over and over that "yea, there is nothing we
can do. This was up to the promotions department and it
      won't change".
I asked to speak to Ben's manager.
I was connected to a female. She was more pleasant but still
told me what was told to me was wrong. I requested that this case be
reopened and ALL my phone calls and conversations with
each agent be sent over as well. I asked her who BEN was. She
stated he is a card member agent. So Ben is not a
manager? So, when I asked to speak to a
manager, my call just got transferred to another agent
to try to get rid of me?

      My case was again declined.
