      My car battery died and my wifes membership was supposed to give me a free battery. When calling them I found out that I was out of service area to get a battery replacement and all they could do is jump my car. This company is going down hill. I typically go on multiple vacations per year and was going to uses your travel agents but after this experience I don't feel comfortable with using AAA my trust has been broken.

      AAA Premier service is a joke! They are almost as bad as these car service warranty companies who are scam artist! Every time I call I get the same answer. A driver will be coming and will contact you when they are on their way! This is repared over and over until finally someone told me that the driver logged off! I was told a new driver was coming and would call me. When I call back I am told that they are the same amountnof tike away and will call. This has been going on since 6:00 in the evening until 2:00 in the morning and still no tow truck! If I could, I would give them a zero! Worst service ever! Do not waste your money. Please research and find another reputable company!

      Waiting six hours to have my car towed on a monday night. Absolutely.Terrible and appalling that a business like this would make a customer wait till two thirty in the morning to get their car towed when I made the request at seven fifteen pm. I was given wrong information during my call and no one is able to cancel my membership. I certainly plan on contacting consumer litigation about this. Extraordinarily long wait times are unacceptable for a business like triple.A , who has been doing it for a very long time. Six hours for a tow on a monday night is downright pathetic. I had to cancel my tow because I work in the morning. This has ruined my night and all I want is to cancel my membership and speak to a supervisor and I was denied doing so.
      Please help me BBB. I'm in tears over how bad aaa is

      Used my AAA to rent a car. They showed me one price then charged me $20 more WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME. My reservation on my confirmation page was for $60. Then when I got my receipt it showed $80. I called AAA and they told me they don't see the $60 offer and there's nothing they can do. Meanwhile I had another resveration screen up and it clearly showed $60. Canceled my reservation and booked through Enterprise, was cheaper for a better car than the scam AAA tried to pull on me. Wil not be using AAA travel again.

      Horrible service and response times for road side service. Do not waist your money on membership. Called and they said truck dispatched would be there in 20 min. 2 hrs later and nothing. Called back and said truck not even assigned and no way to tell when 1 will be. Would not reccommend. Do not care about there offering or customers.

      Bought the service for 2 years straight. They have towed my sprinter van 2 twice before. But all of a sudden when I need them most Policy changed and they can’t tow it. Left me in danger and stranded. Worst service ever and people are not well educated.

      The member's box truck is not covered, as stated in our member benefit guide. His vehicle was towed once before as an exception, but we no longer allow exceptions on those types of vehicles. We apologize for the service experience.

      I have received junk mail regarding term life insurance about once a week from AAA ever since I subscribed to their service. it comes in a large legal envelope. Extremely annoying! I will not renew my subscription because of it

      As AAA members for over 38 years, we want to express our frustration with the services we are currently not receiving. We made three telephone attempts to add a newer vehicle to our insurance policy, each time we encountered system issues and the “customer service” individual(s) either sent us to another person (starting the process all over again) only to find out the individual we originally tried to work with was the only one able to unlock our account. She was absent on 3/27/24 according to the local Encino, CA manager although we were told by the other representative that she was busy on another line and that she would call us as soon as she got off the call. That call back never came, once again. Not wanting to “waste” anymore time on the phone, we decided to personally visit the local branch.

      At the Encino, CA branch the Insurance Business Manager (Shafun) was also unable to add the newer vehicle. She advised that the account is locked, and the initial agent is the only one that can release the account. No one else in the company is able to access it, which sounds impractical at the very least. So, it has been days and still we have not been able to accomplish this task. All in all, we have spent a number of hours trying to resolve this issue and are still waiting for someone from Triple A to call us back.

      On another note, and in order to get a meagre 1.9% discount on the already expensive car insurance coverage with this company, I decided to take the mature driver course. Needless to say, it is a large time commitment AND the system is not well designed. Through the modules, the approach is often condescending not to mention that some of the quizzes do not work until the timing on each module hits zero. This means waiting for the clock to get there OR calling IT to assist in order to complete the module.

      This once efficient and great service company which provided a great service is now a mess while the fees continue to increase yearly.

      AAA is a sorry excuse for a company. After reading heaps of poor reviews, I reverted to my Geico roadside assistance and decided to cancel AAA. A month ago, I filled out a form on the AAA website to cancel. The form is hard to find because they want you to call in, likely to persuade you or annoy you into renewing. However, after filling out the form, I got an email this morning that I was all set to auto-renew! So, this cancellation never got processed on their side. Given AAA's track record, that seems too coincidental, leading me to believe that they simply try to renew and see whether they can get away with it. AAA, my advice would be to focus on customer experience and to leave the financial scheming out of it.

      AAA Club proved terrible for us. We bought their roadside assistance at the "Plus"( LOL) level. When my husband needed a simple change of a flat tire, AAA Club left my husband waiting on the shoulder of the highway for 4 1/2 hours!

      -My husband got the flat while driving on a major well-known well-traveled highway. My husband was NOT somewhere in some remote "hinterlands."
      -There was also NO major weather event like snow or something like that, it was just Spring and rainy. There were NO traffic tie-ups, traffic was moving freely where AAA left my husband waiting 4 1/2 hours.
      -The time my husband got the flat tire and called for service was early evening, NOT some off-hour time.
      -My husband gave his PRECISE location since he pulled over right by the highway mile marker. NO excuse for AAA like they "couldn't find him."
      -The well-traveled highway where AAA left my husband waiting 4 1/2 hours is modern, well-lit, well-maintained, & straight with no complicated interchanges, NO excuse for AAA not to get to him EASILY.
      -The spot my husband was left waiting 4 1/2 hours on the shoulder was in a densely populated county with many towing companies. Seems, AAA had ONLY 1 tow truck to service an entire densely populated area? They couldn't dispatch a different tow truck driver? Really?
      -DOZENS of calls and ALL AAA said was the tow truck was right in the area - for 4 1/2 hours. "He'll be there in 10 minutes.. in 20 minutes"-similar 4 1/2 hours!
      - AAAs final answer? He should "call the police" and go to the police station! REALLY?! ABANDON HIS VEHICLE? because AAA doesn't show up for hours to fix a flat??!!

      -AAA tried to get me to renew as a PLUS (LOL) member! I repeated the awful experience and AAA said they had "NO RECORD" of any complaints. (Surprise!) My only recourse is to TELL EVERYONE about our bad AAA experience and opinion. The rep hung up on me when I said I would TELL EVERYONE about it. AAA used to be good but no more. There are BETTER roadside companies!
