This company seems to use deceptive pricing practices to cheap customs out of money. I looked up the hotel site and show up. It was not listed as a third party. This company uses a deceptive websites to look as if they are an affiliate of the hotel to trick people to book through them. They then add a tax for the suppose it agencies services which is at least 60% of the hotel prices. Do not use this company.

REFUND HELP HERE…I was able to get a full refund but it wasn’t easy. Maybe the stars lined up or I found a loophole. The loophole may be the fact that my reservation went through without me clicking on APPROVE / AGREE / SUBMIT. I see this happened to at least 2 other unhappy customers. We were reviewing the reservation after inputting the CC info and next thing we are getting confirmation emails and text messages. But we NEVER hit APPROVE / AGREE / SUBMIT. Here's what I did:
FIRST - I did not cancel the reservation.
SECOND - I immediately called GuestReservations.com customer service. I told them about the computer glitch and demanded they notify their IT team and make a note of that in their system. The customer service guy told me there was nothing he could do and he’d be happy to cancel the room but I would lose my money because of their no refund no date transfer policy. He said plead your case with Marriott in Boston directly.
THIRD - I took the dismissive jerk’s advice and called the actual Marriott in Boston and spoke to the Marriott on duty manager. He eventually found my reservation and was aware of certain headaches with 3rd party booking agents. I explained my situation and the manager cancelled my room on his end so it looked like Marriott rejected the room.
FOURTH - I was then able to call back GuestReservations.com and fight for the refund. GR did an investigation by contacting Marriott to confirm they cancelled on their end.
FINALLY - within 12 hours, I received email confirmation that I would receive a full refund and the full refund was issued to my credit card within 48 hours.

I questioned my transaction with Guest Reservations, when it simply stopped working as soon as I entered my hotel dates, my name, address, and credit card number, but got no confirmation online or via email. I'd thought I was communicating directly with the hotel but realized I was not when I later registered directly with the hotel. The agent there said I must have gone through a third-party, but he found nothig from them. Then I contacted Guest Reservations to ensure no charge by them for the reservations. A woman came on, but it was hard to understand her slight accent. If my registration had been completed via them, I asked her to cancel it. Then as if to check she repeated my name, saying something like "Golden Ager" that I could hardly hear, but I did not question it. Then she took about 3 minutes to check with that hotel. She came back saying I was not registered there. Then I asked what hotel she had contacted. She said something like "Golden Age Hotel." I said that was incorrect, and she chuckled. I'd never seen that hotel name and told her the correct hotel. Then she took several minutes contacting the correct hotel, came back saying there was no registration with them via Guest Reservations, but she reported the reservations I'd made directly with the correct hotel. I said I wanted to not be charged twice, so to check again she asked for last four digits on my credit card, which I shared. It took her several more minutes to check again. She returmed and said no completed registration via Guest Reservations and that I would not be charged by them. A few minutes later I received an email from Guest Reservations saying they'd noticed I was interested in the hotel I'd entered and encouraged me to complete registration. This meant they still had some of my data. I checked on the web and found complaints about Guest Reservations as a scam. I reported to my credit card company who will dispute the charge if it takes effect in a couple days.

This is a total scam. I read where it says it a parasitic website and that is exactly what it is pretending to be the actual business. It cost me a credit card fraud claim and a new card while Wells fargo is sorting it out. I could have done without this. The motel owner at the motel where I thought I booked knew nothing about it and he has no arrangement with gust reservations to sell his rooms

This is a total scam. I thought I was booking directly with The Westin at Detroit Airport. The URL even had the name Westin in it. I made the booking for a certain price and paid only to find out the price was much more than originally quoted and when I tried to cancel it, they said they have a no cancellation policy! They said I could call the Westin reservations directly and they could issue a waiver, but when I called Westin they had no idea what Guest Reservations was talking about. Then, the Westin said the reservation appeared to be made through Expedia, and so I contacted Expedia to see if I could cancel the reservation but they said the reservation was not made though them and they had no idea Guest Reservations was using their name!!

I'll definitely be calling a hotel directly in the future rather than booking online.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. They charged me at additional 50% of the room cost for "fees" and did not disclose it was THEIR FEE not a city tax. I found the hotel on google maps and when I clicked on it, their number popped up. They didn't tell me they were part of GuestReservations.com. I found the hotel on my own, booked it on my own. I later found out they are really Booking.com. When I got confirmation, it said my check out time was 4am! I called them back and they couldn't tell me if that was correct or if I would have an additional charge if I didn't check out by 4am. That was when I realized I was talking to a third-party booking site. I called the hotel, who told me the checkout time was 11am, and the fees where their booking fees.

Same as everyone else. Thought I was booking directly with the hotel and was scammed. Disputing the charge they refuse to modify and/or cancel my reservation.

Agree with so many of the complaints. This company looks like the actual hotel website. They use the same exact pictures from the Hilton. I put in for a room with 2 beds for a certain date. While reviewing my booking information one last time before hitting submit payment, I got an email confirmation the room was booked. And it was not even booked for the correct date. Immediately called customer service and explained I didn’t hit submit payment. They didn’t care and said try to work with Hilton directly. That’s when I realized I wasn’t dealing with the actual hotel website. They also informed me the room was not refundable and non transferable to another date.

As of writing this review, this website averages 1.02 out of 5 stars based on 445 reviews. Since everything thinks this is the actual site and there is no link to the customer reviews, more people will fall victim to this scamming company.

The website Guest Reservations is a scam. They popped up as the first option when searching for the Marriot chain I was looking to book. It even lists the hotel name on the website as https://thelaurahotelhouston.guestreservations.com. Throughout the booking process the room shows "free cancellation" and the fine print reads the room is fully refundable. Once booked the confirmation email confirms it is a 3rd party reservation and non-refundable. I immediately cancelled the room and received a cancelation confirmation. I spent weeks calling with no answer and once I connected with a rep, they confirmed they will not refund the room despite the proof of screenshots I had showing the reservation was fully refundable. 0/0 rating. The website is deceiving and cancellation policy changes post booking. Beware, do not use this website.
