I only grant them one star because zero is not an option. My dishwasher broke two months ago, and they charged $100 to schedule a visit to fix it. I am now in my sixth! Visit rescheduling. The pattern is always the same: they schedule an appointment a week out, give you a time window, the day arrives, and you get a message saying that due to unforeseen circumstances your visit will have to be rescheduled. Do not buy from ***** Home Warranty Services powered by Cinch. It is a blatant scam.

The service is absolutely horrible. I scheduled an appointment and confirmed it using their system. 12 timesI received 12 text messages asking me to confirm. I confirmed ALL of them but I was told I had not confirmed. I rearranged my day to have the service (their timeslot 8:00am-5:00pm. I received text message that due to unforseen occurrence my appointment was cancelled the day of the appointment at 11:39 am. HOWEVER, their system GAVE me CERTAIN dates that I could choose from to reschedule. Finally, I was able to speak to a person that gave me a third party repair person. I called another number that was given to me. It was AI driven. AI is not good for customer **********************. The system does not ALLOW you to speak with a person. The Artificial Intelligence they are using will tell you they can answer EVERYTHING that a human can. It cannot! We had purchased a ******** which is paid PLUS the $100.00 service fee for each appliance. Weve always loved Kenmore appliances. I dont know when Cinch Services took over the appliance repairs for ***** and other companies, but it really is disgraceful to take something that works well and turn it into something that takes advantage of a service that is needed. Absolutely DISGRACEFUL. Shame on Cinch Home Services.

Had some wiring issues in my house including an outlet on my porch which was connected to my pool. The coverage says "pool wiring" is covered. However, Cinche would not service it because it is not "connected to the foundation of the house." I do not have an indoor pool so that did not make sense to me. I cancelled the pool coverage since nothing is covered since the pool is not inside my home. Therefore, I canceled the covereage and I was told I would be prorated the extra amount I paid for my pool coverage. The refund never came in. After a month past I had called the company 5 times for the status and could never get an answer.

I have been scammed out of $802. ABSOLUTE SCAM!!! PMy front control panel broke off of my dishwasher. I threw the piece away and placed a $100 deductible service request. Because I threw away the piece they will not cover it to be fixed. I am beyond furious. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Total paid for complete home warranty $79 monthly fee x 9 months and $100 deductible. All to say its not covered. I could have bought a brand new dishwasher for this wasted cost.

Original Warranty:The homeowners purchased a one-year home warranty on December 27, 2021, which expired on December 27, 2022.Unauthorized Renewals:Despite the expiration, they discovered that the policy had been automatically renewed each year without their permission, and under an incorrect home address.Unresolved Customer ********************** Calls:On February 2, 2025, they spent over three hours speaking to several representatives across different departments. Each representative acknowledged that the address tied to the policy was wrong, but no one was able to cancel the policy or explain the ongoing charges.Charges Incurred:They were billed:$439 in February 2023 $599 in February 2024 $659 in February 2025 Totaling $1,697 in unauthorized charges.Lack of Documentation or Authorization:They never received any renewal notice, contract, or confirmation of a continued warranty. The only receipt received lists an incorrect address, and their phone records show no contact with Cinch Home Services during the time the supposed warranty was renewed.Fraud Concerns:One representative (*****) mentioned the warranty might have been set up by an in-person representative, not via phone or emailraising further suspicion.Given the wrong address, no formal documentation, and charges after the policy had ended, they believe Cinch Home Services is committing fraud.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! if you really have to have a home warranty service for your home or rental property, consider other alternatives available, but NOT THIS COMPANY! Ill explain why by sharing my experiences dealing with CINCH. During my 2-years time with them, I probably did half a dozen service requests. Out of that, at least four (4) times, I had to call my own contractors to fix the underlying issue. Because the company took way long time to send technicians at the first place and most of the time their designated service providers send incompetent/inexperienced technicians whose technique is to use trial and error to diagnose the problem. And the worst part is in between those trial and error attempts, they have to submit the probable diagnosis to CINCH and an underwriter from CINCH has to approve or disapprove. Sometimes it takes days before the dispatched service provider can hear from the underwriters. I bet they deliberately use this delay tactic to force the customers to go with their own contractor to fix the issue ( cause you cant afford to wait longer if your ac breaks in hot summer days or you have water leaks in home). STAY AWAY!!

They are absolutely terrible. Terrible service (absurd hold times, no one to directly get a hold of even after cases go on for weeks, etc) & borderline fraudulent. Their workers either intentionally mess up their claims or are so poorly trained or vetted that they have no idea how to do the job. This has been a waste of ************ I would hope to save anyone else from.

Subject: Ongoing Furnace Issue and Mishandling of Service Claim I am extremely dissatisfied with Cinch Home Warranty, with whom Ive been a client for over a year.On April 15th, 2025, my heating furnace stopped producing heat. I filed a service request and paid the $150 deductible. Cinch sent out a ********** from E&A Mechanical. By the time they arrived, the heater was temporarily working again, though it was clearly functioning intermittently.Just three days later, the furnace stopped working once more. I contacted Cinch again, and a second ********** was dispatched. Again, the unit happened to be working when they arrived, but the problem was not resolved. As of today, June 2nd, 2025, the heater is completely **************** rule out a gas supply issue, I had the gas company inspect the system. They confirmed that the gas supply is fine. The problem is clearly electricalthe gas burner is not being ignited, which is why the heater is not producing heat.According to Cinchs own policy, a claim remains valid for 180 days for the same issue. Yet when I called to request further help, I was informed that my original service request had been canceled, and I would need to pay an additional $150 for a new ********** visit. This is unacceptable, especially since the issue has never been properly resolved and clearly falls under the original claim.I find this situation outrageous. I will not do business again with Cinch or with any of the contractors they have dispatched. The **********s showed little concern and lacked the expertise to properly diagnose or fix the issue. It feels as if Cinch is relying on technicalities and delays to avoid fulfilling their obligations under the warranty agreement. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, time-consuming, and wholly unacceptable.

Ive been a loyal Cinch Home Warranty customer for over 10 years and have generally had decent serviceuntil recently. I submitted a claim for my washing machine on May 24, and the repair was scheduled for May 28 with a wide service window of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. I took the entire day off work and even called the assigned service provider, *****, twice that dayonce at 11 a.m. and again at 2 ****** confirm I was still on their schedule. Both times, they confirmed the ************** 4 p.m., however, I received an email stating they would not be coming and had rescheduled me for June 411 days after my original claim. Now Im forced to take yet another day off work and risk another potential no-show.I immediately called Cinch after receiving the reschedule notice and spent over 48 minutes on the phone with a representative who tried, unsuccessfully, to locate another provider within their network. This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Once this repair is finally completed, we will be actively shopping for a new home warranty provider. I strongly recommend exploring other options before choosing Cinch.
