      We placed a repair order on 10/31/2022. As of today 12/27/22 we have not received a response from Cinch or ***** on the completion of the repairs and every time I try to contact them they reply with automated phone #s that are USELESS!Plan to file BBB complaint

      I would give this company a 0 star review if I could. I called and made a claim with them on 12/12/2022. They were quick to take my deductible before filing the claim and then told me it would take ***** hours for them to locate one of their preferred providers and assign them to me, and I would get an e mail from cinch confirming. Which I did, they assigned me to a provider that was an hour away but were closed for the weekend. I had to wait, the ******* came out on Monday 12/19/2022 but when they tried to get approval from cinch to do the job, cinch would not pay them up front which the company did not approve of. How do they have preferred providers but dont have proper payment agreements set up with their preferred providers absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. The ******* then left and cinch told me I HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER ***** HOURS!! Are you kidding me? Now its been almost 72 hours and still no e mail from cinch saying they found anyone. The reps wont do anything they just keep saying dispatch is working on it. Its just a bunch of sorry excuses!! Looks like me and my kids wont have plumbing for Christmas. THANKS A LOT CINCH! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO!!

      Spoke with three different people regarding my hot water heater. They were supposed to come out to fix it Monday. Today it is Wednesday !!!!! I called them and they said I owe another one hundred dollars before they could come out. I told them I could pay over the phone with a credit card and they said them would send me a link this was 10:00 am and I still dont have a link and they can not be reached poor service and the contractor said that I also had to pay them ****** dollars for their labor on top of the ****** dollars I have to pay this is crazy that why I have Home Warranty for with rates like that I dont need this one . What shall I do next please respond

      The company itself is great. Coverage is great and at a good price. Their customer ********************** however is AWFUL! It took me 2 months and hours long phone calls to simply change my phone number. I dont know if it is a language barrier bc NO ONE speaks English at all, or if it is just negligence ** they dont care. Hours on the phone multiple days a week to get my name spelled correctly and my phone number changed. I hope they read this and start having meeting with these CSAs. It took 3 minutes to update a bank account bc they wanted my money and then 2 months to update the spelling of my name and my phone number with multiple calls and several hours on the phone with people assuring me it wont happen anymore still happening. The calls and texts are going to my deceased husbands phone and I continue telling them this and they have no manners at all and simple say well thats all I can do so at this point there is nothing else I can do bc it shouldnt be happening.. well it is happening.. voicemails to prove it and phone logs. They tell me to deal with it and that as CSAs they cant do anything else. When I requested help from a higher title, and to not call his phone but to call mine and the number that is on the account, they STILL call his phone and tell me thats impossible bc they dont have his number anymore. I am sick of this. Im so tired. Im not mad but Im exhausted. Someone needs to get these people doing their jobs or working on the system if there is an issue or SOMETHING. I shouldnt just have to deal with this. They keep sending important things out with the wrong spelling of my name and *** told them over and over and over. My small small children have a better ability to problem solve and find a solution than this company. Its a shame because this would be the best company if they focused more on customer ********************** and resolution instead of how many calls they can take. And also it could even possibly be a language barrier too. Idk. Im tired.

      Their contractors are scammers. It took a couple of weeks to get a response from Cinch, hence their customer service is lacking. I was quoted $1800 for hot water heater replacement by their contractor. This was on top of the $2500 Cinch was already covering. Their contactor added access fees, upgrade fees all of which were made up and not needed (I confirmed this with our plumbing inspector). I called a few local plumbers and received quotes of $2,300 to $2,700 for replacement which includes the water heater.You're better off taking the payout and finding a local contractor.

      I was very disappointed with Cinch failure to process a payout request for my refrigerator that was covered by my policy. What made it extra disappointing was that my past experiences with Cinch had been very positive.On 11/22/22, I accept the payoff offer.On 11/23/22, I call Cinch to make sure the my claim was processed. The Cinch Rep. told me that everything ok and I would receive a check in 7 to 10 business days.On 12/8/22, I called Cinch and a Cinch Rep. told me to wait a couple more days and call back on Monday if I had not received it.On 12/12/22 (Monday) / 1st Call, I called Cinch since I had not received the check. A Cinch Rep. told me that the claim had not properly processed and it would take 7 to 10 days to get the check since the process is being started now. I asked to speak to a supervisor, the line was disconnected.On 12/12/22 (Monday) / 2nd Call, I explained my situation to a Cinch Rep. and ask to speak to a supervisor. After four requests, I was finally able to talk to a supervisor who told me that a check would be overnighted and I would receive it by 3pm on 12/13/22.On 12/13/22 and 12/14/22 by 3pm no check. I called to find out what happen on 12/14/22, 4pm. 1st Call after asking to talk with a supervisor, I was disconnected. 2nd Call, I was transferred to a supervisor and was told that the previous supervisor did not have authority to send an overnight check and I have to wait 7 to 10 business day, so I would get the check after Christmas and a month after my original claim acceptance. The last supervisor told me that he talked to his manager and was told to repeat 7 to 10 days and there is nothing that can be done.Of course, each Cinch Rep. and Supervisor told me that they valued me as a customer and was sorry. I don't feel value!!!

      I was with them for many years and they kept getting worse. They made excuses not to cover a product they also provide cheap horrible vendors who come and spoil your things. No one should trust this company. I had to cancel them because they are a total rip off company

      This company made us jump through hoops to try and get our boiler replaced, with little to no communication regarding service. We have now been without heat for 9 days, and Cinch finally told us theyre not going to replace our boiler. But they wont tell us why. The only consolation is that well receive a check for $1500, maybe in two weeks. This has been the worst customer ********************** experience Ive ever had. Please, save yourselves some money and work with a different home warranty company.

      The quality of service is poor. The reps that answer the phone cant speak English well and cant understand it as well. They dont respond it a timely matter. They try to charge a deductible per item on every claim. This company is horrible please avoid at all cost.

      Cinch Home Services is a total rip off. From an unfriendly website for trying to file for covered services, to not covering what they said should be covered, upping the deductible and not refunding it when they said the service wasn't covered. Was hung up on, not called back, sent technicians that didn't know what they were doing, and texted to say someone was coming and they never showed up. Do not sign up with this company - they have made it their job to collect your money and deny your claims.
