Terrible service. This entire company feels like a scam and there is no continuity with anything. I have submitted two claims, both of which have been denied. The most recent being last weekend I submitted a request for a water drainage line that is clogged. Every time I call, I get put on hold for 15 minutes and then get disconnected. It is incredibly frustrating. This week I have spent multiple hours on the phone trying to get it sorted out because the first person submitted the claim wrong submitted it as as a water supply line that was leaking. I have no idea how or why that got submitted incorrectly, but now the whole case has been denied, because of the incorrect submittal, and the representatives told me they have when I will be contacted back regarding this. I paid an overpriced service fee of $110 that now I will never see again. Will definitely not be renewing my contract, and unfortunately will never recommend this home warranty service to anyone.

This business is one of the worst business you could ever get roped in I have been with them for the past 4 years my first experience with a washing machine appliance issue and was horrible it took me 2 1/2 months after countless appointments wasted time and different technicians coming over at my property to finally get it serviced my last experience now is with one of my other properties in ************ California (at 117F) with my air conditioning units it has now been 2 1/2 weeks and for time rescheduled with no one being able to help me to get a technician to my property after I have been paying every month on time after I had paid my deductible as soon as I was asked to and a technician service fee when I was asked to my appointments have been rescheduled with no definite date I have spent almost 3 days on the phone with countless technicians supervisor and case managers with all of them being extremely rude disrespectful not caring of their customers and most of all not offering any help or solution whatsoever if I have one advice to give it would be for anyone interested in purchasing home warranty do your research and if you really do need one do not go with cinch home services you will regret it the rest of your life not for how much a cost you per month but for the aggravation and anxiety you will have to go through the day you need them

TERRIBLE COMPANY!Our account with Cinch was opened by the previous homeowners who, for whatever reason, opened the account in my husband's name only. Though he and I repeatedly requested to have my name added to the account, it never was. I didn't press about it because they didn't give me a hassle when I called to place a call for service, make a payment, etc. Then. Without warning, they slapped an additional fee on the deductible for any call. When I questioned it, they refused to talk to me because I'm not on the account. The representative I spoke with got nasty and, eventually, hung up on me. I couldn't get answers or communication, heck I could barely get them to speak to me like a human. The service was NO WHERE near worth that terrible level of service. And the service was NO WHERE near worth the crazy expense. My husband and I talked about it and dropped them. We're already signed up with a new company. So, what happens? They start calling us multiple times a day, wanting to start us back up with them. Of course, they're calling MY cell number, but insisting on speaking with my husband. Since he's not available - because it's my number? - they say refuse to do anything, transfer me to a supervisor, stop calling, anything. I've blocked the number, and I'm still getting calls. Why on earth would we ever go back to doing business with a company that: 1. treats their customers horribly 2. adds on charges without warning or explanation 3. charges easily 30-50% more than their competition 4. cares only after losing a client, but can't be bothered to try to keep the client Do research. There are MUCH better options available.

The washing machine technician visited my house September 1 and stated that I have a plumbing issue. He made no repairs and stated there would be no charge and left. I asked to receive a refund of my $200 deposit (since there was no charge) and was denied.BASTARDS! I understand why Cinch has the ratings they have on the BBB website hucksters and thieves.

We bought an older house and part of the purchase agreement was that the previous owner would purchase a home warranty to cover the *** They purchased the Cinch Home Warranty. Within about two days of being in the house ** unit stopped working. I spent 3+ hours on the phone with Cinch trying to get someone out to fix it. I paid the $100 deductible. The person they sent brought his little kid with him to the repair call and didnt have any clue what was wrong, he said he thought it was a backed-up hose and that he was pretty sure he fixed it and left. It started leaking within two hours of him leaving. We had him back out two more times last year and the final time was right before it got cold, so we ended up turning off the ** unit for the winter. May of this year, the temperature starts to rise, & we turn on our ** for the first time since last fall. Instantly, the unit starts leaking water all over our basement. I call Cinch, they say we need to pay the $100 deductible again because it wasnt within the 6 month ***** I tell the guy, at 6 months there was still snow on the ground, how were we to know it wasnt working! I pay the deductible. They send a new guy out from a new company; he is super rude the whole time. He messes around with it for a while and says its a problem with our *********** **** wants to replace it. We say no, its a brand-new thermostat (a Nest) that we had installed when we moved in. He messes around with the ** some more, says its probably fixed and leaves. Two days later, its not cooling, the exterior pipes are freezing up and there is still water everywhere. I call Cinch, again, 2+ hours to get help because there is nowhere on the website to sign up to have someone come out without paying the deductible again. They say they will send him back out. Then we dont hear from him or Cinch for three weeks. There is more to this story, it ends with us super dissatisfied, but limits. Conclusion: NEVER USE CINCH, it is a total SCAM.

If i could give negative 5stars i would. Been dealing with Cinch(SUCKS) for 3 months over a broken air conditioner. Living in ***** with 110- degree heat weve had to move out of our bottom floor. They send out completely untrained technicians (when they actually show up), every time its a different person so we start the process over ever time. We have been told for weeks on end the part is ordered, then they schedule a visit and notify us all day long of when they will arrive with it, only to end the day by telling us the part is in another state.Bottom line, DO NOT SPEND MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY,. THEY WILL NEVER REPAIR, REPLACE OR DO WHAT THEY SAY FOR YOYR BROKEN REPAIR NEED.

They are beyond HORRIBLE!!! They are liars and quite deceitful. Once they initially get you in they put you in a chokehold for renewing/updating the home warranty with them. There were a couple of issues with them per my initial home warranty experience with them in reference to their definition and my/family understanding and definition of what is covered and what isn't. (They will lie or moderate the warranty) The warranty was included through the real estate for the purchase of my home. Therefore I assumed some of the issues may have occurred because there was no relationship developed with them or information obtained during the acquisition of this warranty. But woe to me!! It's time for renewal. It has been horrendous, crazy, and unacceptable. There is no loyalty or acknowledgement given to a returning customer. Actually you end up paying out more! You are penalized as a returning customer! (LOL). Tried a couple of avenues to perhaps stay connected to Cinch due to the initial home warranty with them. It is not worth the aggravation and dishonesty to me and family. Will not put up with them again. I have a choice now! It will not be Cinch!

A 1 star review is way too generous. Hopefully someone will read this review, along with all the others and avoid doing business with this company. I've only been a customer for 2 months and was simply trying to schedule preventative maintenance on my furnace. What a nightmare! I'm now trying to cancel my service and get a refund for the 2 months of service, which all I've received is aggravation! Wish me luck!

wow after reading these reviews, a pattern emerges as i have been back and forth for 5 months! not 5 weeks but 5 months trying to get my garbage disposal repaired, which obviously needs to be replaced. On a previous claim it took almost 4 months to get my built in oven replaced and they offered me a less than 1/2 of the amount it would have cost to buy one myself and have it installed. Clearly with an average rating of 1 star and lots of below 1 star ratings and just south of **** reviews - the goal of this company is clear. Find every way possible to avoid repairing and/ or replacing - seems obvious they are really expert at it = play the delay game, set up a call center whereby it's difficult to understand the rep, elongate the hold time and put you on hold constantly, work with low grade companies who have little knowledge of the item they are trying to repair, find a part that is not covered so they are not responsible for any repairs. i agree with a review that calls this type of behavior criminal - home warranties are only as good as the company issuing the warranty - something aligned to legal action needs to be done or else these actions will continue.

This is THE WORST warranty company. They used to be HMS Home warranty company (which was actually better). We have been trying to get our air conditioning fixed though them since the end of last summer 2021! Until we were told that no one would be able to fix our air conditioning until next spring, because no one works on air conditioning in the fall and winter. It is now September 2022 and we are still without air conditioning. They just keep telling us they need to send out another repair company to evaluate the situation. We have had six different HVAC repair staff this year. Each one says they should be able to repair it, but are never able to make the repair. This company is the biggest scam! Do not use them. Every time a repair man is sent out they give you paperwork on their assessment, but Cinch reps state that they were unable to interpret/understand what was written/reported, so they would not approve the repair/work. Cinch reps never call back when they say they will. The repair staff can be on the phone with them one minute, you can hear and listen in to the plan that Cinch will get back in touch with you and this never happens. You try to call Cinch back after several days to get an update, and you are told that they have no report from any HVAC representative and cannot offer any update to you. You generally are in hold with them for hours and never get any answer other than they will need to send out another repair man to look at the issue.
