I have a Cinch Home Warranty plan and my one claim experience has been very good. My hot water heater went down and I immediately called my repair/replacement company that installed the new system the next morning. I notified Cinch of my problem and was told the contract states I should have called them "before" not after I had a replacement. "That was correct" -- I did not go by the contract requirements -- yet, Cinch worked with me and everyone there was very nice and helpful -- and to my surprise a check arrived in the mail four weeks later. I renewed my warranty plan again hoping I will not need it. Thanks!*****************

I have Cinch service contract on my home appliances. My clothes dryer has been broke since July 11, 2021. A & E has come to service the dryer 4 times and still does not work. Cinch has schedules a 5th service with A & E to come repair. the dryer. Also had front load clothes washer the the door is leaking . Was once again told that I should clean the drain holes in the rubber gasket and it wouldn't leak. Third appliance refrigerator ice maker does not empty all the ice cubes. was told that I needed to find a service repair person to get an estimate to have it fixed. submit the estimate ti Cinch to have approved. Customer ********************** representatives refuse to allow you to speak with a manager. I've spent hours calling Cinch customer ********************** to try to resolve the problems. Cinch has no problem getting paid each month for my service contract but has a problem repairing appliances covered under the warranty. I would love to speak with a manager at the Cinch company.

This is the worst service that I have experienced. I have been with this company for 4-5 years and no claims. When my Ac went out I called and they immediately ask for deductible of $125 and scheduled an appoint with ***** home improvement. On July 5th he showed up, checked system and said he couldn't fix it because it was an old R22 system and coolant wasn't available. his suggestion he could flush out R22 and put in newer coolant for around $400-$500 or better still have ***** replace it with a 10 year warranty. He called them and ask me to set up an appointment for an estimate. I followed his suggestion but they never showed up. The next day I called warranty company and told them what happened and quickly got an apologize stating that was not correct and would send ***** back out at no charge on July 22nd. If they can't fix it the company would replace it. I explained that I live in an area where temp exceeded 104 avg., thatI was a senior and my home was 85 degrees plus and I consider it an emergency because of heat. That didn't seem to make a difference and I waited. On July 22 the day of appointment scheduled from 8am-5pm, I get a text that the appointment needed to be rescheduled and it was rescheduled for July 29. Bare in mind that the ac had been out for over two weeks. I called again and they offered another date of July 27th 8am-5pm. He showed up again and I pressed him to find out problem. After about hour he said it needed replaced, my question why didn't you say that on July 5th. Then the nightmare got worst after calling warranty company and ***** 23 times that was the end of my ropes. I call warranty and they give me a number to call ***** and ***** would refer me back to warranty company. I got a point that one night my spouse over heated and I took her to ER. We also spent many hours in car riding around to cool off. I spent as much a 1 1/2 on hold. I rate this comp. 0-2. I finally gave up and replaced it at my cost. I cancelled warranty

Cinch is a total Rip OFF! Save your money or choose a different warranty company. They collect your monthly premium and then you have to pay a service fee if a claim is filed. So you are likely out $200 before someone even comes out to diagnose the issue. They make you jump through hoops with checklists to fill out and give you super generic responses to questions that leaves you scratching your head. If you have to hire your own technician to do the repairs like I did, since Cinch couldn't find anyone to work on an **** for me, be prepared to be disappointed. Spent an entire month going back and forth between Cinch and the **** technicians. I had to have them submit pictures, checklists, itemized expenses, etc. It was a nightmare and when all the dust settled, Cinch reimbursed me $1500 of the $5000 they claimed they would pay out. When you ask them about it, if your are fortunate enough to get a hold of a customer ********************** rep, they just say "Sorry" but the powers that be at Cinch have spoken and this total of reimbursement can't be changed. Just an awful experience. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT choose Cinch.

Got rip off with my ***** home warranty. I use my dishwasher twice a year and notice it leaks doing the rinse cycle. So I called ***** since I had a home warranty plan I pay $69.99 per month. It took a month for them to come out. The service tech *****, came out and wanted to charge me $283 dollars to fix the hose. I told and showed him I had a home warranty. He told me to call the office reschedule. My original appt. Was August 1. We rescheduled for Friday August 6, 2022. He never showed up, my appt. Was 10am-2pm. I got a text saying he would be arriving at 1:59 pm-3:19 pm. I could not reach anyone, and I had to wait 72 hours to get a response. I called today August 11, 2022. They was not going to fix my dishwasher because a mice chewed the plastic pipe. They took my $100.00 I paid on Aug. 3, 2022. So why did they not tell me on August 1st ???? I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF, THEY NEVER PLANNED ON REPAIRS TO MY DISHWASHER. Well they got paid $69.99 plus $100.00 and dishwasher still broken????

Cinch is the worst Home Warranty. They take payment every month, and then they chatge the service fee even before setting up an appointment. And even if the technician does not show up, and the job is not done, they refuse to reschedule the appointment. Customer ********************** does not assist, have to wait to talk to someone for 30 mts. Yesterday I was on the phone with them for 4 hours back and forth, and still an appointment was not rescheduled,Hopeless company, cheaters and just want to take your money and dont want to do anything they promised.

Like many others I would give less than zero stars if possible! This company is a joke... stay away from them. They are quick to take your money for a deductible to get a repair; however, you never get a response afterwards. I've been waiting since 7/27/2022 for a technician to call me regarding repair of a dishwasher. My online account indicated I would have someone on 7/29/2002; however, on 7/29 when I checked my online account, the date had been changed to 8/10/2022. You guessed it; noone called nor showed up on 8/10/2022. The online account now says we are awaiting the diagnosis from service technician. My husband has been calling repeatedly since 7/29 and cannot get a "real" person to speak with. The phone number given for the repair has an automated answering system that transfers to a dispatch for several home repair companies! This person repeatedly says "3 business days" are required before a technician will call about an appointment. Really? how does this company count 3 days? So fed up with them after being a customer since 2015. I have filed a complaint with the ************************* in Virginia. I hope this company will be investigated! STAY AWAY!!!

I bought a policy that covered my water softener and paid a deductible 9 months ago. Cinch is refusing to fix it stating that the previous owner didn't take care of the system, unbeknownst to us. This is the reason we purchased the Home Warranty, as to guard against unforeseen issues. How would we have any idea what maintenance a previous owner did or didn't do. The water softener is failing and does not produce soft water. All we requested was a rebuild of the tank, as the resin has appeared to been deteriorated over time with natural wear and tear, as per a service technician. All we are asking for is an operative system. They, as of today, have yet to refund our money and have denied us formally as we approach the end of our policy. This is a complete scam. Their other reason for denial is that they don't have a provider in this area to cover it. My argument is that why did they offer to cover it in the first place then? Upon buying the policy, am I supposed to research every item listed and check and see if it is "really" covered? They argue that the resin in the tank is a filter, which is nonsense since the system has a filter, which I replace regularly. This rebuild is not something any handyman can do, this is something only a licensed service provider has the skill and parts to do. This is absolute nonsense. If Cinch doesn't want to rebuild it, then they need to replace it.
