Cinch is the WORST. ****** I would NOT even give it one star but I am required to in order to leave this review. *****We had an air-conditioning unit issue and cinch had (2) different companies come to no avail. The 1st contractor came out ran a test and said he needed to order a part and will return to fix it once the part comes in - well needless to say he NEVER returned or ever called us back - after a week we contacted Cinch again and they sent the 2nd contractor; who came in and took apart the unit & left it in pieces in my attic. We have called Cinch more than once & keep getting the same runaround. This is unacceptable and totally dreadful - we are experiencing triple-digit heat temperatures with no AC. I would not wish this on anyone & save yourself from that unprofessional money-scamming company CINCH.

Zero stars. Cinch was opaque in their coverage, deductible is $100 more than competitors, and have provided little relief in the areas they are designs to assist! I paid a $160 deductible then still was charged over $300 to make my needed repair. Cinch covered $20. I requested cancellation and refund and after 3 weeks over calls and emails I still do not have a definitive answer to whether or not I am receiving a refund, what that amount is, and where there are sending it. A complete joke and a service company that provides zero service.

Frustration is what you purchase with a Cinch Home Services home warranty. I submitted a claim online last week for refrigerator repair. On their claims page, it stated that it was looking for available appointments and providers I could choose from. That did not happen. Instead it directed me to a page to make the non-refundable deductible. Although my book clearly shows my deductible is $125, it charged me $150 plus $10 for fuel surcharge. I understand the surcharge but not the additional $25. They scheduled me for a work day with a company instead of allowing me to choose. This caused me to make another couple of phone calls to the service company to re-schedule an appointment. The representative came but did not fix the issue. He told me give it ******************************************************************************************************************* wear booties. Was scheduled with another company this morning. They did not show as Cinch cancelled the appointment and did not notify me. Nor did the company. They said Cinch should have contacted me. I was again scheduled for a work day. Currently on hold with Cinch, again! They use "unusually high call volume due to Covid" as an excuse. This is not unusual for this company. This is normal operating procedure. They will not return phone calls or emails. Their irritating hold music would make anybody angry. So besides all the time on hold waiting listening to hideous music for countless hours, I'm no closer to getting the refrigerator fixed. When talking to the reps, the tell you you are being recorded. I do not consent to that but no option. Cinch is uncaring and disrespectful of your time. Their service is perfect for people have nothing else to do. I would recommend this company to people I don't like.

I acquired Cinch Home Services from the seller of my home as it was the home warranty that was on my home when I purchased it. I didn't have a problem until my most recent service request. My AC went out on July 18th and it was diagnosed by one company that the fan blade had broken. That company removed the fan blade from my home on July 18th but after a conversation decided that they were not going to come back and fix the unit and denied having the fan blade. I contacted Cinch to get assistance and all I got was the run around. After Cinch sent multiple companies to my home who stated that the fan blade was missing, August 1st my claim was finally denied due to "The home service contract does not apply to failures which may result from missing parts. Also the home warranty service contract does not apply to failure due to abuse, misuse, and/or neglect. The last part of the denial was added on due to dirt being around my outside unit and my filters needing to be replaced in the home according to the email they sent me. After looking at my coverage, it stated that the warranty covers normal wear and tear and that fan blades were included as a covered item. Now after 2 weeks of no AC, I have to find a company to replace my entire HVAC unit because my home warranty denied my claim.

I wish I could give them a zero. Terrible warranty company. They do not care about their customers. The contractors they use are incompetent and lack skills. Stay away from ******* Home services and this warranty service. Dont waste your time and/or money!

Buyers beware, I have spent hrs on hold and days off work, just to find out they are not going to honor the contract. They did send out 3rd parties to fix the washer and after several replacement parts it still is not working. They then sent out another 3rd party to fix it but we were told by the tecknition there is no more that can be changed and said that it will need to be replaced. Back to hrs of being on hold and being disconnected, getting the run around and not being told what is going on. This went on for almost 3 months. We then went and looked at new washers, found one and then they decided to send a 3rd person out to take a look. The person that was on the Cinch line was not listening and made the appointment for the 3rd tecknition to come out, again nothing. At this point it has been 3 months or more and 67 calls later and 3 seniors in the house we needed the washer due to having to take them to the laundermate and it was not fair to them. We decided to get a new one, Cinch now is saying that they are not going to honor the contract. So buyers beware, beware, beware.

Cinch Home Services should be put out of business. Just 3 months into my contract, I wind up paying more out my pocket to fix what they broke and the repair job was shotty. I wouldn't even recommend my worst enemy to these people, they are a 'FLY BY NIGHT" Home Warranty Service.

I have been paying home warranty for years and when it's time to do repairs they look for every way to avoid repairing what they should. I think they may even have agreements with the repair companies to ensure that nothing is approved for repair.Don't waste your money with this company, you're better off putting it in a bank account.

We have had a horrible experience with Cinch. It took 7 weeks to have our refrigerator repair, they could not find a service provider, even after we paid $110 on the first phone call before they did anything. I was approved to find our own service provider after 10 days. We have a 6 month old at home and had to deal with no refrigerator for 7 weeks, a customer care rep stated 5 weeks in they should of approved you for a mini fridge when you told them you have a 6 month old. Then I called multiple times to get approval and they wouldnt respond, its in the case mangers hands. When I would call I would be on hold for a long time, once 4 hours I was on hold. Now that a service provider I found has repair the refrigerator they wont approve payment. I provided a proper invoice with all the information. They reply via email with vague wording denying approval. The last email had my case number but they had dear incorrect persons name. Same result, denying payment. They are a horrible company to deal with, any company that lets a family with a 6 month old without a fridge for 7 weeks should be held accountable. DO NOT USE CINCH.

Horrible customer **********************! ***** Home Warranty (Cinch) technicians attempted to fix our heat pump, but could not get it running after numerous visits. I eventually called two local reputable hvac companies and both agreed that the heat pump was old and could not be repaired. It was in the middle of summer and I needed a/c so I purchased a new unit. I could not wait around while they tried to band-aid the unit with new compressors, heat strips, Freon, etc. They refused to credit me for a new unit even though there technicians could not fix it. ***** claims that they will fix your covered items and if they cant, they will replace it, which is not true. Do yourself a financial favor and do not purchase a ***** (Cinch) Home Warranty.
