I ordered 3 specialty glow rods Item#****** online. They split the shipment up. I received the first damaged and it was almost 2 weeks after the order was placed. Called to initiate an RMA. I don't know where ***** is located, but the support person at best was incompetent. I was constantly being placed on hold. Spent close to an hour with him trying to figure out what to do. Finally, said he would send the information on how to RMA the rods. I received an email stating that someone would get back with me within 10 business days. On the 11th business day, I called again. Apparently they had no record of my call. Forwarded them the original email. I did receive 1 set good and placed it into service. Still have not received the 3rd one. It is now well past a month. Office Depot, you really need to look to having someone else other than ***** handle your customer service. I have complied with all requests for photos and information, but I am very tired of hearing, "Ok, someone will contact you shortly." I hope that this was a one off experience but if anyone else needs to deal with *****, I wish you the best. Just be ready to lose a few hours of your life that you will never have back. 1 star for the 1 set I did receive.Office Depot, Inc.

If I could give this store no stars i would. More than once I have ordered items to be delivered to my home and didnt get delivered. Stated it is like Uber eats. Will NEVER order from this store again and I suggest no one else do the door delivery. Ran out of ink and have a deadline for work to meet but now I have to run to the store myself and waster time because the ink didnt get delivered and they wont cancel the order for 2 days.Office Depot, Inc.

But no excuses, we take ownership at Office Depot for the entire delivery chain, from picking to delivery.

1 starI placed an order and gas the wrong shipping address and I called before it was shipped to cancel or even offered to pay for another shipping label and they told me no she can't! It needs to be delivered and if not sent back it will be refunded.. Well I've called and called and no one calls me back just makes tickets saying it's coming and nothing happens! $258 of stuff lost and no product!Review fromCarolyna G

I order quite a bit of supplies from ** for my printing business. On multiple occasions, when picking up my web order, I have been told my PayPal payment was declined. I proceed to show them the transaction shows still processing. The workers tell me it would show that in their system - but my transaction is showing declined because my payment was not good. I end up having to go find the items on the shelf myself, repurchase them and then jump through hoops and hurdles to get the coupon found online and the web pricing. It is embarrassing to be told in front of other customers that my payment was declined - and the time wasted having to do all of this is ridiculous. Yesterday, after the ** employees adamantly stood by there assertation that my payment was bad, and after I repurchased the needed items - I received a notification via e-mail from ** stating my order could not be fulfilled because they were now low on stock. They were low on stock because I repurchased them in person. I contacted the store to inform them my order had been processed (but not in full) and my payment was in fact good. I was told rudely, "well, what did you want me to do...our system showed declined?" I do not think this is an employee problem, but rather, a system issue that needs to be fixed. Perhaps ** needs to see why web payments (using PayPal) are coming up as declined to store employees when customers are picking up. I am extremely disappointed and was late on a deadline because of this. I hope ** will fix this issue.Office Depot, Inc.

I ordered an item on 8/13/2023 was supposed to be delivered on 8/15/2023. I have contacted Office Depot 4 times now and they keep telling me they are getting with the vendor but no one is doing anything. I also told them that I could go to the local store and just pick it up and they said that they were not able to do that without me paying for the item again and being refunded my original charge. They messed up they should fix it! I shouldn't have to pay for an item twice. If they can't even mail the item out how am I going to trust that they will refund me. Online shopping is the worst I have ever seen with Office Depot and their **************** is horrible. They give you empathy but do NOTHING about it.Office Depot, Inc.

Placed an online order with Office Depot on July 31, 2023 with an estimated delivery date of August 2, 2023. Got an email from Veyer (a logistic company) on August 2, 2023 that my items have been delivered. I check my front porch and garage area, but didn't find the items I had ordered. I contacted Veyer customer support around midnight regarding my missing shipment. Got a response that the items have been delivered and even provided a photo of the packages in front of the house, but sadly they delivered to the wrong address. Responded back to the email and didn't get a response back. Had to contact customer support again regarding my missing packages. Response from customer support was "checking with our internal team to get a swift resolution". Didn't heard back for two days, so I had to follow up regarding my missing packages. Got a response 5 days later that they will escalate the issue. Then another 5 days go by and finally got a response that they can't do anything about it and I should contact the shipper. Weird since I contacted the shipper regarding this issue and now they want me to contact them again? What a horrible experience. I would think twice before ordering from Office Depot. If the shipping company makes a mistake they will not doing anything about it and pass the problem back to the customer.Office Depot, Inc.

I ordered 4 file cabinets online on June 25. The shipping date given was about 2 weeks out, July 6. On July 5 the tracking data on Office Depot's web site said the items had been shipped. I called customer service on July 6 to give the carrier a phone number in case there were delivery problems. The cabinets didn't arrive on July 6. I called several times after that to try to get the cabinets. I asked for a contact number for the carrier and ******** Services gave me two different numbers at different times. Neither of them was a right number. I got the tracking number from customer service (which said it was a *** number when it was actually a UCFS number) and eventually got the tracking data. Only 1 of 4 cabinets had been shipped and it was returned by the carrier because my delivery address was out of their range. On July ************************************************************************************************************ that the 1 cabinet had been returned and the other 3 were unavailable (discontinued). It took two weeks for them to let me know that they couldn't give me what I had paid for, and then it was only because I was continually calling asking where my file cabinets were. I have ordered the cabinets from another supplier.I am submitting this review in the hopes that someone in charge at Office Depot will look into the problem and take action so this doesn't occur in future. It would help the company as well as it's customers.Office Depot, Inc.

They lose them and then there's no one that wants to take the responsibility for the the lost Package and the money that you have lost in their shipping capabilities. Office Depot ships some products from the manufacturer. There is no indication on the product pages when this is the case--in fact, it may even indicate quantities in stock. The problem is that they treat these items as if they were sold by a third party seller and abdicate all responsibility for customer service if anything goes wrong. I ordered a medical stool that extends to counter height. The product I received was a shorter version of the same stool once assembled. Because the product had been assembled, they refused to help me with a return or replacement and told me to talk to the manufacturer. This is a completely unacceptable policy, especially if they don't make it clear that this is the policy for these specific items. I will never shop with them again.Office Depot, Inc.

Thank you for forwarding our customer complaint.We emailed ************************* heartfelt apology. At Office Depot, we pride ourselves on giving our 100% every day to ensure that our customers needs are being met. I know that we have let her down, and for that we are very sorry.
We do our best to train each of our representatives on how to properly handle our customers issues, including how to escalate problems that they are unable to assist with. her concern was not handled properly, and we are going to take steps to ensure that this situation does not repeat itself. When I offered to return the stool and advised her it would need to repackage for returned pickup as well as a option to returned the stool to her nearest Office Depot Store.She decided to use it for another purpose. If she changes her mind, we are here to help!
