    I went to the website Click Search which claims to find old friends by their phone number. It says it costs 99 cents. I entered my debit card information and the information that came up was totally wrong. So I emailed the company saying that I wanted a refund because it was incorrect and a total scam. Then I checked my checking account online thru the ***** Fargo website and saw the company charged me 95 cents and ****. Nowhere on the site did it mention they would charge ****. I did not authorize that. I called ***** ********** and they said for a charge of ***** they could do a stop payment! I said so much for fraud protection but I'm not paying ***** to stop payment. So actually ***** Fargo ***** and so does click search. I basically got scammed by both. This is total fraud to say for 99 cents you can search for lost friends and then they charge that plus ****. They also say if you don't cancel you'll be charged monthly. I told them to cancel any and all transactions immediately. This just happened ten minutes ago so I obviously don't know what they will do yet but something needs to be done ASAP because they are scamming people! And ***** Fargo is scamming people as well charging them to cancel a fraudulent charge!!! Unbelievable!

    I don't understand what exactly you want. I gave you the name of the company, the date it occurred and their response and mine you already have. I want them to erase my credit card information and cancel any subscription they may have fraudulently signed me up for. They can even keep the **** but they better not charge me again because I didn't sign up for a subscription!!!!!

    Click Search is a data broker which sells personal information (referred to as "reports"). Despite maintaining an "opt out" page which includes instructions, Click Search refuses to actually delete the information. Users are prompted to include a photo ID and submit requests by email, and says the process could take **** days to complete.After months of repeated requests, Click Search refuses to remove the information. Many others on BBB and elsewhere have noted similar experiences with this business. Click Search may have links with Kiwi Searches, a similar data broker company with non-compliant removal practices. Refusing to honor opt out requests is a flagrant violation of CCPA protections and invites potential lawsuits.Click Search must respect the law and honor removal/opt out requests.

    On 9/20/22, I was correctly charged $0.95 for a search. Later that day , I was also was incorrectly charged $59.85. I called and requested a refund for the latter amount which incidentally ******** my account and I had to pay the bank $30. On 9/23/22, I contacted ClickSearch for a refund of the $59.85. I received confirmation of the refund and was told by email that it would take 1-5 business days. Ive been in touch with the company many times and they have reassured me that they have expedited the refund. This morning, I called the company and was told that my refund has already been handledthat it was submitted to my ccard on October 7. Supposedly, a supervisor is going to call me back after ignoring my request by email last week. This company is giving me the runaround while making a profit on interest from my money. Please help! Thank you.

    On oct 6 I'm on my phone and my it started beeping so I looked and it's my PayPal account money was being taken out $86.95 then $89.65 and 95. So I call cause I didn't authorize that and they tell me oh we sorry ma'am we will refund all your money back in 1 to 5 business days, I said what, excuse me um it took y'all seconds to take my money without my authorization but now I gotta wait well long story short it's going on 3 weeks they have but me and my bills in a bind I want to *** but I can't afford a lawyer unless I can make payments so... I'm single, I take care of my daddy and I've had no money for 3 weeks this just isn't rite. It took them seconds to take it there is no reason why they couldn't get it rite back!! They messed up my bill's and living can you please help me please and thank you I want my money they took and the ****** I had to borrow cause of them so $500.00 this is just wrong on so many different levels taking people's money without authorization I e had no money cause of this for 3 weeks

    September 10, 2022 I was erroneously charged $59.85. An employee in the billing department named **** approved my refund & submitted it to management after a couple of weeks for immediate processing as she told me. Since she was fired during this process I have not been able to speak with anyone who actually handles the refunds. I have been hung up on, talked to very unprofessionally and the call center will no longer answer my calls. I believe Ive waited 5 weeks for a refund that was suppose to happen in 5 business days. I believe this is a scam to get customers money and simply keep it.

    Im sending the entire conversation between myself and **** fro Clicksearch.com. There are many more than one email stating I am being refunded. Also if you have click search pull the audio recordings they claim to be recording every time one of their reps speaks with a customer, you will find at least 5 different people that said my refund was either on its way or being processed or even has already successfully been processed. One rep said it was processed on September 28th successfully. I dont have any recordings other than these texts. But they should have many to choose from. If it had been only once I was told in error that would be understandable. But it was multiple errors and to make it sound like its my fault is preposterous. I dont have a premium report anywhere that I can access. I did not order it. This is a scam with small print that trucks you into thinking you just paid .95 cents for what they charge you almost $60.00 for plus .95 cents.

    I am rejecting this response because: I was told by **** and several other employees there that my refund was successfully sent out on September 25th. So I guess Clicksearch you are stating that it is fine with management there, *** terms and agreements, if employees give misleading and false information to customers. Kind of like where it said Ill be charged &60.00 if it hit a button the I was told would cost 95 cents(which I was charged) in the first place? You encourage flame and misleading info to make money off people. Your terms and agreements and the wording on your website are clear as mud. Seems to me several of YOUR employees didnt consider your terms and agreements to be sufficient reason to NOT refund the money you trick people into spending. Like anyone would pay $60 for something they can easily Google.

    I noticed I had two charges on my card that I did not make. One for $.99 and another for $ *****. I emailed the company listed and gave them my information and let them know I did not make these charges. They informed me they would refund all my money back. Over the course of a month I was going back and forth with them via email and called and talked with some one on two different occasions. Each time being told I would be getting my refund that day. As stated a month later and still no refund. They now are not responding to my emails.

    I am rejecting this response because: what they are claiming is not factual. I did not open the account nor did I use any of their services. I in fact notified them by email and phone calls when I was alerted by my debit card company of the charges. To which I was initially informed by them, "they were sorry, and that they would issue the refund." Not at anytime was I told or informed by phone or email that they were claiming I had used their service. This is the first I am hearing this claim, and I feel it is fraudulently being made due to me turning them into the BBB.

    I had a 95 cent purchase and the business proceeded to charge two charges to my bank account without Authorization. One in the amount of $ **** and the other for $ 3**** . They have since been giving me the run around after agreeing to send refund that never came. I am seeking refund asap

I would also be willing to get phone records showing a call was placed to them on the 23rd to cancel and was told it was canceled. I would also be willing to take legal action which I promise will add up to WAY more than 50 dollars and I have all the proof I need to win in court

    I signed up on the website to do a background check for $0.95 for 3-day trial. That same day they charged me $59.85. I immediately on the same day sent them an email canceling my membership and requested that they reverse the charges. I have repeatedly requested that they refund my money and told on several occasions that the money would be reversed and I have yet to see any money in my bank account.

    On Sept 6 I placed an order for service. For 95 cents. Less than 3 minutes later I was charged an additional ***** when I was told I was not going to be charged forv3 days, then they tried to take an additional ****. Then an additional 8****. I was on the phone canceling my subscription because of the fraudulent wey that took the *****. 5 minutes total. I spoke to someone immedietlyband was told and emailed 3-5 business days. I called back in 5 business days and was told again 3-5 business days. And everybtime I've called I het told itsbeing handled by their billing ***** But when I ask to speak to either a manager or their billing department u.i get told they only contact via email. I contacted my bank who was also told 3-5 business days. My account ID on hold because of all of the overdraft that has occurred and now, when I call from my phone number I get put on indefinite hold. Yesterday it was over 2 hours. 3x. So I called from my phone today, placed on hold. Called from a friend's phone, call was immediately answered. 3x in a row. I am reporting them for theft to the police **** and am going to take this to court seeking all the monetary problems that caused me

    They will use shady tactics to insta charge your debit card if you click anything about getting more info, they then disregard their own refund policy and lie threw thier teeth every step of the way. I have been lied too over for weeks about the whereabouts of my refund. After 2 weeks of lies threw email I called again to have someone tell me they never received my request for a refund. They need to be shut down and prosecuted. Thier needs to be a class action lawsuit as well. Disgusting people stealing money is all this "company" is.
