I did not authorize a charge. Emailing back and forth, they told me I would get a refund within 5 business days. It has been over 2 months and I still have not gotten a refund. They will not respond to my emails. When I call their customer service line, I am immediately put in hold and eventually the call disconnects. I am owed $69.63 for the refund.Business Response

I used Clicksearch to find a friend. I just wanted basic information. I did not want to subscribe or anything. They charged me $.95, $9.95 and $ *****. On Jan 9 and 10th 2023. These transactions were taken from me. I instantly asked for a return in which they have been telling me they have refunded me to my bank but I have not received the funds back. I have email confirmation that they have said Id be refunded but havent. They said wait 3-5 more business days. Its been almost 2 months now. I called my bank to make sure I didnt get a refund and how can they help me. The bank *** said for me to ask for a trace number from Clicksearch. They have not given it to me. In November 2022 I agreed to the .95 fee trying to locate my father in law cell phone he lost. Of course they were not able to locate it. I cancelled that day. However they stole money out of my account totalling $143.44 over the next few days. I have contacted them several times. They've sent me emails telling me my refund would be in my account within 3 to 5 days of contacted them over and over again because I still have not received it. I get the runaround. They keep telling me that an account specialist will get in touch with me. Nobody ever calls. No money has been refunded to me. They stole this money right before Christmas. They did not have permission. I want my money back. They should be shut down. It is clear that they are nothing but Con artists stealing peoples hard earned money.Business Response

You clearly in every email you sent me and every time I spoke to somebody at your company told me I was getting a full refund $140 something dollars is not ****. It's also not 95 cents. I never clicked on another box to be charged more. I never would have. Y'all are thieves. You need to return my money like you said you would. I called you immediately when you charge my account and you said you were at fault. You were going to return my money immediately. How you can legally take money at $140 for .95 charge blows me away. I apologize for any language I may have used but you took money from me at Christmas not money that I owed you not money that I agreed to pay. not any subscription that I agreed to. I was told several times by several different people at your company that you were refunding my money in full. I was even told once that you had a refunded my money. All lies. I wish there was a way that I could *** you for millions for taking and stealing like a back door thief because that's what you are going to my bank account and take out money. I have not authorized. You are lower than any drug addicted thief that breaks in somebody's home and robs them a gunpoint you do it through the back door pretending to be legit, there should be some sort of law put into effect where they can have you repay us 50 times the amount you stole. Then maybe you would stop stealing money at people's accounts. I don't know how this could be legal whatsoever. You should not be allowed to do such things.

I was only supposed to be charged a trial fee of 95 cents and then they charge me another $69 and then another $10 without my authorization I've been waiting for a refund now for over 11 days they told me at first it would take 3 to 5 business days then they told me one to five business days they said they put a tracer on it and told me that I would have it yesterday and a supervisor was going to call me yesterday and none of this has happened I still have not received my refund and they put me on hold and never come back on they hang up on me it's a horrible service and I need my money back I have children and they had no right to take it from my accountBusiness Response

On 2-11-23, I tried the 3 day trial for .95 cents. I entered one search. All the information from the search was incorrect. I emailed a complaint within minutes. I also canceled the 3 day trial. I am rejecting this response because:on February 12th I paid .95 cents for a three day trial period. On February 12th I made one search of a known phone number under the paid for trial period to test the accuracy of click search. The information that was given was not even close to what it should have been. On February 12th, I canceled the paid for three day trial. On the same day February 12th, I was billed ***** for a full subscription. I never agreed to a full subscription. Only to a three day trial period. Your response is inaccurate. Your advertisement is false. Under the agreement of the paid for three day trial. That I paid .95 cents for I should have been able to use the services advertised for three days before being billed the full subscription fee of ***** per month. Click search did not wait for the trial period to end. I was billed a full subscription fee the same day I started the agreed upon three day trial period for .95 cents. I want my ***** dollars back. It was wrongfully billed.

I canceled the service on the same day that I started the paid for three day service. I was billed the monthly subscription fee at the same exact time I was billed for the fee for the three day trial. I should not have been billed until the fourth day. I want a full refund.
