      They 100% lie about how you can get rid of your timeshare during the time of purchase. The sales *** stated that if we ever wanted to sell the timeshare, bluegreen would get first dibs to sell it (made it sound extremely easy).....this was after I said to them that I've heard horror stories about people getting stuck with these things and needing lawyers etc. You can def have them sell this, however, you have to pay 1.5x the yearly fees which would be about $1500+ for them to do so. You can gift the ownership...but no one ever wants them....you can list them through a 3rd party (which is ironically also owned by bluegreen) which can **** * months to 1 year and the same ownership that we paid 16k for, is selling on the site for 2k. This company is a joke and their sales team is full of lying pieces if trash.

      My wife and I took advantage of a promotion for Bluegreen when a member of the Choice Hotels contacted us. We chose a trip to Charleston, SC in August and took part in the promotional session. The lead person was quite entertaining and educational and Missy and her shadow agent talked to us and applied no pressure on us. We have been with others and that was not the case.

      We are 80 years old and don't believe our kids would want to pay the ongoing maintenance fee. They cleaned up a problem with a hotel billing in short order.

      I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in timeshares and who would use it.

      Could not have been more satisfied of the professionalism of team.

      We believe we have been scammed and played by Blugreen Timeshare! They've been selling these timeshares, making them sound like paradise on Earth. But let me tell you, these are not useful. We have not been able to use the timeshare in the 8 years we have been owners. They just keep increasing the maintenance fees, squeezing us for every *****. And you know what the real kicker is? We can't even use the timeshare! Its like buying a car that you aren't allowed to drive. We've tried to have a sensible conversation with these people at Bluegreen but they only suggest we pay them more to cancel, but will not put the offer in writing.We just want out!****** and ******* ******

      We are an elderly couple, over 60, and feel Bluegreen Vacations targeted us because of our age.Bluegreen has been manipulative, and aggressive and do not tell the truth about timeshare ownership. Bluegreen marketing materials are misleading and did not provide an accurate representation of what the membership entails and true expenses, like the maintenance fees.Look at how short the Bluegreen recission period is! These unethical and unprofessional sales practices should be investigated and stopped.

      Is there an option for less than one star? This company is a complete scam. Everything they do for their process is put in place to s**** over customers and **** money out of you. All fees are hidden and then show up as a surprise after the fact. All agents will say that the "system" doesn't allow for refunds/reimbursements, etc which is a total lie. There HAS to be a way to refund customers, they just don't want to. My fiance and I have tried to book a vacation and it's been a huge hassle the ENTIRE time. I would run far, wide and fast away from anyone who tries to rope you into this scheme.

      This Company is awful. We actually had intentions of purchasing when we first signed up. We scheduled our trip to go to the presentation. Unfortunately we have suffered some financial setbacks due to the economy and I having to take 3 months off work to have spinal surgery. We still went and told our salesman up front what our situation was and that we were only there because I could not afford to pay for everything if we no-showed. I am a disabled veteran and he actually pretended to be a veteran himself in order to establish a rapport but his stories didnt add up. When I continued to tell him that I wasnt able to purchase at the moment and would be able to in 6 months. He said and I quote Clearly you came here to mooch a free vacation. I dont care about your situation and I dont need your business. I immediately told him where he could shove his business and we walked out. They use lies and high pressure tactics to basically force you into buying. Im thankful that I had these financial setbacks as I now realize that was the Lord keeping me from making a horrible mistake. These people are vultures and evil caring only about their commission. They will stop at nothing to get you to throw away your hard earned money and get nothing in return with almost zero chance of getting out. Stay away from **********!

      My wife and I are retired senior citizens, and we purchased the vacations package. Later we learned that my wife has a medical condition that won't allow her to travel. I called to get a refund on my purchase but was refused. Why does a well-established corporation refuse to refund a retired couple living on a fixed income. We could surely put this money to better use for medication.

      TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER IN MY LIFE!!!I paid $199 for the 3 free days and 4 free nights, where they told me I would have to attend a tour on my second day in order to receive a free gift card and another free 4-night stay. Well I was booked at the ******* in Mt. Pleasant SC, when i arrived I had to pay ***** for taxes and another ***** deposit which I was not advised of, I mean i asked the *** numerous amount of times if there would be any hidden fees which she persisted there would be NONE and I had to call the next morning to find out where the tour would be(front desk told me the tour was at the actual blue green vacation resort which was in downtown **********) I confirmed with the *** the time of the tour would be at 2 pm the next day. I took off from work and was ready to go by 12:30, I called Bluegreen to confirm the location and she tells me the tour started at 12pm! She said they switched the time because there wasn't enough people for the 2 pm time. She says they emailed me and left a vm which I never received. They wanted to reschedule me for the next day at 9am but I told them I cannot take off from work another day. I already took off for that day and missed out on income. They said they would still have to charge me for the room but how when i didn't even stay the full time? I ended up paying over ****** including gas and not to mention more money because I took off from work. I could have stayed in a air ***** or another hotel for way less! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS COMPANY THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY AND DO NOT HOLD THEIR WORD.

      Bad experience We bought our plan 2 years ago and asked for an extension due to the economy and job market. A customer service *** immediately sent us to a supervisor. This person said we had 2 years to use it although they were made aware of the circumstances and would not extend.Bad customer care and will not be using their services again. Spending over 2k, you would think they would be more accommodating. #BluegreenVacations #BlueGreenTeam

      Tough sledding once you enter the Bluegreen Timeshare game. No sense typing much repetition on the posts below, which are accurate, but will give some specific feedback on when we 'upgraded', though [face-slap hand emoji]. One of the pitches they give to try to get you to upgrade is that they "gift" 2 airfare tickets as part of their incentive package. Basically was promoted as 2 $525 max airfare tickets to anywhere in U.S. plus a few additionals, which doesn't include government taxes, travel provider and agency fees. Multiple catches involved. a) the flights available do not include even 1/4 of what's truly available (at least via a simple orbitz/expedia/travel engine search). b) the price that their provider calls those tickets is higher than any of those basic search engines, let alone the flights' direct site, so pretty much everything approaches that $525 cap immediately. c) the aforementioned fees are huge, and ********* the tax fees. To give perspective, we booked two tickets listed at ~$450 on their engine, where tacked on $125 each in taxes/fees, leaving us a $250 additional bill. On orbitz, the totals w/ fees/taxes for the two tickets was $475. So the notion that we were getting a free $1k in plane tickets was actually only $225, with restricted flight times, and a designated length of time that we had to travel (minimum 3 nights). You also have a $198 deposit to be able to activate them, which doesn't come back to you unless you use the tickets, so make sure you use them within that 12 month activation time. Bluegreen may report/argue/defend that those tickets are utilized through a separate company (gocrv), but still plenty reflective of their gimmick methodology. Could go on and on about other things within that upgrade package (room upgrades, free trips, etc). Highlight from this: don't start, and certainly don't expand. Please Bluegreen **** save yourself the time of responding to this with an un-edited copy/paste paragraph packed with garbage.
