This company gives you 1 month to cancel after taking your money. Unfortunately, my spouse had a major stroke and I called to cancel 5 months later, after the realization he is now homebound and unable to travel. The *** chose to try to educate me on how he had family members with strokes and he could extend the date for another year to give time for recovery. He has no idea the extent of my husbands stroke and that he is not the same person nor able to every drive again. After stating this, I was instructed that I would be sent form to "gift" this stay to someone. That's exactly what we need to do right now, when we've been reduced to one income. He also suggested I could "sell" it to someone. Why would I want to get someone else involved with a greedy company like this who cares more about money than the customer? We will be hiring a lawyer. We've been defrauded. We are paying maintenance fees on properties offered to the public and they have done NOTHING but lie and breach their contract. Busted locations seem to be the only ones you can get lucky with. My past few travels have been booked with Expedia bc I can't seem to utilize my bronze ownership and 30k points and THOUSANDS in maintenance fees. ****** lies, FRAUD.Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

Our encounter with Bluegreen Timeshares, initiated by a mall representative promising a free trip to ************** in 2015, quickly soured into a three-hour high-pressure sales pitch led by **********************************. Despite our initial reluctance, we succumbed to purchasing a timeshare with the ***************** enticed by promises of luxury vacations and investment returns. However, the reality was starkly different: undisclosed perpetual contract terms, unmanageable maintenance fees, and booking difficulties that rendered our purchased points insufficient for even a single vacation. Subsequent investments in more points failed to alleviate our issues, leaving us feeling deceived and financially burdened. This experience has proven Bluegreen Timeshares to be far from the promised dream, instead a regretful and unsustainable commitment that we now seek to terminate immediately.Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

If I can leave 0 or negative star, I would. First, they did the presentation and promised that it will only be for 2 hours, but no! it was almost 5 hours trying to scheme and convince us to purchase. We had said NO a lot of times and even told them we haven't eaten the whole day yet (including our toddler) but they couldn't care less. We told them we can't afford it esp the downpayment but they told us we can apply for their credit card which has a "promo" of 18 months, 0 interest. My husband and I applied for the card and got approved, but we won't be able to use it then as we need to wait until we get the card in 7 days. So we were asked to use a different card and we were told we can transfer the amount to our new card. The new card came but when I tried to transfer the *** I was told that they can't do it and have to contact the merchant. I had tried numerous times to call and email the salesperson but didn't receive any response. They deliberately delayed us so we missed the rescission period. We then sent a letter formally cancelling the contract, but didn't receive any written confirmation so we sent another letter. All we got are phone calls and email requesting to "resolve" the issue. I sent a response to their email explaining everything but they didn't address the issue but they just told us we can't cancel anymore because the rescission period lapsed - which was their fault. We are already talking to lawyers and will take legal action.Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

This timeshare has been a complete disappointment. We haven't had the chance to use it even once! After reviewing the property listings, we realized it was a huge error. When the maintenance fees arrived, we knew we had to put an end to this. Giving to charity is a priority for us, but this money pit has hindered our ability to contribute. In Oct2023, I called the choice phone # & got transferred to the time share depart. I used to work in a call center, so I'm always friendly; because I know a lot of people don't. The man I spoke with was really nice & seemed informative. He thanked me for my "Gold ************ started into his script about BGV. I said no thank you, but he was really good with his ability to talk genuinely & I signed up for the $200 three night stay at BGV & chose ***********, MI over Labor Day wkend. In July I got an email that I was at the *********** Exp. I called the number and asked "what's up with this? I'm supposed to be at a BGV". She told me I signed up for a hotel stay. I said that I remembered the conversation well & if I was told that I'd be in anything other than Ascend Collection I would have said no; especially, if I had known a Holiday Inn Exp.When I called the blue green vacation line for why I got the Holiday Inn Exp, I was told that I booked a hotel stay. I told them that I absolutely did not. I told them everything that I wrote above. I was then told that to upgrade my package I would have to pay another $250. I told the woman no & to cancel my stay. She canceled my stay & said that she would like to find another solution for me. I let her know that I was working & couldn't work on it right now, but asked if she had a direct line. She was super eager in her voice and said that we could email back and forth. Though, I can't use my work email for personal use. I have called the woman 3 times & emailed her twice. I have the benefit of the doubt that she could be on vacation. But I feel that I am just being ghosted after a bait and switch.I contacted choice, and they said that their hands are tied because BGV is a separate entity and gave me the same phone number I already called to talk to someone there.Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

Unable to access account online without any assistance from Bluegreen technical support. When you want to get out of Bluegreen because the times are never available. You can use the company they choose who has 284 complaints with the BBB. Or you can forget all the money you paid them and give the timeshare back doubt any compensation. And you could possibly owe them fees for giving it back to them. You can even try to call ****** who purchased blue Green a year ago they wont even help you so youre stuck or you can give it up and just take it as a loss. It doesnt matter how many thousands of dollars that youve put into this timeshare and you cant even get your vacation even if you are a Goldmember. Explain that because theyre not very helpful and dont really care that youve spent all this money and cant even enjoy your vacation. Please beware of any affiliation with the company who obviously sells things with no intentions for customer service. And if possible, I wouldve gave it a negative star but the website wouldnt let me.Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

When I tried to speak with Blueg green about my concerns they have not provided me any help, guidance or assistance. They told me during our call that it is my fault for not reading over everything when I asked to cancel which was very rude.. I had no time to read over anything at all they did not let me! They kept hounding me to sign but even when I explain this to them they just continue to treat me so poorly and rude. They told me that they wont accept my claim and dont care what I have to say I am very upset with them and myself for ever believing these peopleBluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

Absolutely horrible experience. When initially signing on for a couple of hundred dollars I mentioned we are a family of six and I was told not a problem we can accommodate that. I booked a weekend that put me in an affiliate hotel which didn't have any large rooms that could accommodate my family therefore I had to purchase an additional room at a "discount price" almost $800 for 3 nights. I said fine as long as they have connecting rooms being my kids are 8,6,5 and 3. They lady assured me that won't be an issue. Getting to the hotel guess what it was an issue we had to separate rooms so the family had to split my kids being kids were not into that set-up. Turns out I could have booked the same hotel for under $500 from Expedia so no discount was given and I would have received a connecting room if I would have booked from Expedia. When it came time to get to the meeting we were about 20 minutes late and denied entry. This is 20 minutes into a 2 hour sit down with 4 little kids sorry we have suitcases in 2 separate rooms down the hall from each other so getting ready took longer than normal. When I told the girl at the front desk got nothing but attitude and saying you need to come on time. On top of all that I asked if we can use the amenities of the resort we tried to get the said of course you need to buy day passes. When I called the corporate office telling them what happened zero assistance they offered me $100 gift card they should have paid for the second room at the least. So weekend on them to try to get me to sign up for a timeshare cost me over $1200. I could have done the same weekend and keep my family together for less. This is them trying to get me to sign I can only imagine how they treat people after they sign. Fyi I was so disgusted I ended up paying extra not you attend the time share and if course didn't receive any of the"Perks" . I couldn't put myself to sit with my family after they treated us like that.Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

1 starWe first became aware of Bluegreen Vacations while shopping at a ******* in ******, ********. While walking around the store we were approached by a representative who offered us a free 2-night stay in exchange for our attendance at a timeshare presentation that wouldnt take more than an hour of our time. We declined his offer, but the man was persistent and wouldnt take no for an answer. After several attempts we finally relented to his advances and agreed. It started out with a man telling us that Bluegreen Vacations would allow us to take family vacations to any location where Bluegreen was present. We were assured that the Bluegreen meeting wouldnt take longer than an hour, but over the course of the day we spent five hours with their salesman. We declined his offer and gestured to leave. Unfortunately, the whole ordeal was just beginning. Every time they offered a package, we declined. We ended up declining 4 different times. This process repeated itself three separate times until we finally gave in to the pressure and agreed to sign. Later, after we signed the contract, we came to find out that he failed to mention that our maintenance fees would increase on a yearly basis. He also never mentioned the total interest percentage. Both facts wouldve deterred us from signing, also because were going through the process of adopting a second ***** and the prospect of a vacation sounded wonderful. We have spent nearly $35,000 in monthly payments and maintenance fees and have only taken 2 trips. We have upgraded our contract two additional times because we were told that it was the only way we could take the kinds of trips we were interested in taking. Despite our upgrades though, we still struggle to find availability. The amount we have paid for what we have received is absolutely unacceptable and is a far cry from what we were promised during the multiple meetings we have been forced to sit through.
