We have been happy Bluegreen owners for over 25 years. However over the past 10 years, management has been allowing the sales ************** supervisors to use enethical tactics to make sales, which includes blatant lies to customers, manipulation of information presented as truth. The sales teams also promote "renting" weeks or points to offset the maintenence fees. This is strictly prohibited by corporate. This has become an issue since 2016 with owners being locked out of their accounts and unable to use what they have paid for. We only used the "trusted contact" person provided to us in writing by the Bluegreen sales person and her supervisor. We do have their name and employee ID and the paper in which they wrote down the "trusted contact" who could rent out our weeks or points that we could not use. We only did that for about 5 or so weeks after we upgraded to Platinum (total money $90k to $100k over the 25 years). The rental of those 5 or so weeks did not bring any profit, it only covered the cost of our points. Now we are being punished by having our account locked and unable to use what we have paid for. Bluegreen as a company does not care about their owners. They are greedy and will do or say ANYTHING to make a sale. They should be held accountable for their unethical sales tactics.Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with Bluegreen Vacations and their customer care manager, ******. My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel that I have been taken advantage of.After investing a considerable amount of money into a timeshare with Bluegreen Vacations, I quickly realized that the company did not have the availability or benefits promised. When I attempted to cancel my timeshare, I was told that I would need to pay even more money to do so. This blatantly exploitative behavior is unacceptable and has left me feeling cheated.Despite my attempts to work with Bluegreen Vacations and to find a resolution, ****** has been particularly unhelpful. He has not provided me with any assistance or guidance on how to cancel my timeshare, and seems more interested in taking my money than in addressing my concerns.******* and *****************************Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

1 star is too many! HORRIBLE experience with these people! They were extremely pushy and rude, even more so after I told them I wasnt interested. When I mentioned that I felt uncomfortable and pressured, the sales lady tried to make a joke of it to another employee. They split us up thinking they could con at least one of us into it and it didnt happen. We were told it was only an hr long presentation and it ended up being well over 3 hrs. A complete waste of time and effort. When I told them I wasnt interested, a manager stepped in to say that I would be charged $1000-1700 for not completing the showing. Im pretty sure thats illegal. I cannot believe they sucker people into this. I will be complaining to corporate about this, because harassing people is not good business.Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

I wish I had checked reviews for Bluegreen before ******* conned me into buying . She lied to us from the beginning and smiled the whole time . I was told they would contact me to explain all the ins and outs of using Bluegreen but it took over a year to get in touch I called a few times but got put on hold and forgot about it until the called to try and sell me more usless time. I have been trying to use ****** points I have but when I find a place I'm told I don't have ant points . I hope there truly is karma for Bluegreen employees. Dont do it nothing but lies. All financial responsibility was left to only me and not my boyfriend I have sent letter to cancel and every time I call they have no answer. They tell me letter hasnt show up in the system total money pit. I am terribly afraid of my finances. Crooked company that preys on families and retirees. Free stuff to lure into the 90 pitch that sounds like an amazing opportunity for vacationing. Hidden maintenance fees that can be hiked at any time once you sign contract. Stay well clear of these types of unregulated neoliberal tactics. A special place in h*** for those who consciously think this is a way to make a living. My husband and I bought this useless package back in November and spoke with a gal named ***, she assured us that we could take our furbaby, and these hotels were pet friendly, they are not, we are very displeased with this company, and since we bought in November of 2022 we can't get our money back...Do Not book from BLUEGREEN VACATIONS, they lie!Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

This is a total rip off! Tried to use my certificate multiple times and with plenty of notice only to be told they don't have rooms at the properties they market when buying the product/ vacation or try to put us at a down market hotel (not on property). Called customer service on multiple occasions and when you get to the point of asking for escalation- you wait on hold for 30 minutes and then they answer, ask you to confirm your phone number, put you on hold, drop the call and DONT call you back on the number you just gave them! RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

We are presently staying at *************** were assigned to Building 9 which is under upgrade construction so at times it can be a little noisy. Understandable However there is no access to our end of building so my handicapped wife is forced to navigate steps on the opposite end of building from our room. Then walk all the way to the room. Not to mention having to lug out baggage down same steps and all the way to opposite end of building. But non of this is as upsetting as todays experience Our fireplace pilot night was not working when we checked in last night I informed the housekeeper was was told she reported the issue and someone would be to us asap. Two hours later after no response I called the front desk and was told someone would be Tonis shortly. One hour later and two very hungry little girls I again called and the excuse was a shortage of staff. The fireplace is not working tonight again!I think my ever increasing Maint. Fees deserve better. We will not be back to Laurel ***** again I have documented all the calls I received Trying to schedule an owners update after I explained we had a 3 and 5 year old with us.
