      I gave this a 3 because we benefited owning prior to VRBO and AirBNB. Visited 9 locations and was an ***** point member. We were able to book at the Fountains numerous times early on, ******, Boyne MTN numerous times,********, Dells (right after the flood), both ********** and ************, and ******* gave us an opportunity to vacation and give our family and friends opportunities that we wouldnt have done if it wasnt for Bluegreen. Used bonus time many times also. Our main place was Boyne MTN being from ********. That being said, no need for it now. Gave back my membership. We bought bought in early ****s. Was worth it at the time (again before VRBO and AirBNB). Last couple of years didnt use it as we bought a vacation home. Wasnt hard to get rid of it as we already paid off our loan to buy it to begin with. All you have to do if paid off is request to give it back if you have already paid Maintenance fees. Dont try to sell as they wont sell it and you are allowed to get rid of it with no charge if you are in good standing. Those fees increased every year- over **** when we got rid of it. Started at about 600. I did notice that as years went on it was harder to get a reservation. I will say this- I never was pressured to buy like others. And the smell of chocolate when you go in relaxes you. And like previous people said say no and more opportunities are given to you. Went in for owner preview and never bought more points. As we went in I would tell the person why should I pay this amount of money when I can pay this at this place and be guaranteed to get it now through VRBO and AirBNB and not have to pay more in maintenance fees. Was able to benefit as we would do short trips like M-Th low point time and best for bonus time. At this time dont do it. With VRBO and AirBNB no need for the cost now. You can go anywhere with what you would pay for the fee and maintenance charges.

      They lie to you the minute you walk through the door and encourage you to lie as well. My roommate and I stayed at his sister's timeshare in St. Augustine last March. We were exhausted after driving all day from NC. That didn't matter to Alexis, she hammered us on coming to the presentation first thing in the morning. I explained that we weren't interested because it was my birthday and we had plans with family. I mentioned my daughter had arrived earlier in the day. Alexis told me that my daughter hadn't made a decision on attending the presentation because she was waiting to see what I was doing. I thought that was strange because I know my daughter, she owns her own real estate company and makes her own decisions. She kept upping the ante offering us more free gifts and changed the Visa gift card from $50 to $100. We just wanted to eat and go to bed so we finally agreed to go to the presentation. She said she needed a $20 deposit to help insure we would show up. Then as my roommate filled out the information sheet, there was a question about salary. We didn't meet the requirements so she said we could just check the box that did meet the requirements. Later, after talking to my daughter, she said she flat out told Alexis she wasn't interested in the least in going to the presentation. That really pissed me off. I figured if they lie to my face at sign in what other lies were they going to tell me in the presentation. I went to the sign in counter the next morning and told the person there that I didn't appreciate being lied to, of course the person said "That doesn't sound like Alexis." I laughed and told her if you lie to us before the presentation then they will lie to us in the presentation. Then I told her I wanted my $20 back or I was going to cause a scene for the next people who came through the door. She cancelled our presentation time and refunded our $20.

      Bought Blue Green vacation, everything I was told were total lies, the presentation was misleading, ***** and outright lies, Mr. ****** should do some soul searching. I mailed a letter over 2 months ago, no response @ all , no reply, no letter, text or email which more than ever proves they are ********** @best . ******* ***** . ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

      My husband and I got wrangled into a "free" vacation, through Choice, and all we had to do was sit through this presentation. We were lied to from the beginning. We were told that we would be staying at a resort. THAT WAS A LIE! We ended up staying at *********************************** on ******************* in *******, **. The staff was unprofessional, the room smelled of mildew. On March 14, 2023, our presentation was at 9:00 am. Shareif Enan was our rep. ** was a nice guy. ** seems too nice to work for such a sleazy company. ** introduced us to his manager. I think her name was **** (it started with an 'A'). After our "get to know you" portion, we were ushered into the main presentation with some douche who basically kept insulting us (he called us stupid), he kept going in on a few people who bought their 1 and 2-year-old children to the presentation. The guy kept telling us we were boring and needed to wake up. After his presentation, we were ushered back to our one on one with ******* again. My husband told him no, we weren't buying. We told him we barely travel, and if we do it's every blue moon. ** then showed us around the property. We still said no. ** brought over his manager who then began berating and yelling at us. I let my husband handle it because he's a master at handling a******* **** was livid by the end because my husband had gotten the best of her. She actually had the nerve to say that if we were going to take our children to ***************** then we could afford to buy from them. She was a huge b**** It should've been a 2-hour presentation and it went way over 2 hours. Their HQ is in **********, **. Everyone needs to contact the AG's office and report these demons. Enough complaints/lawsuits and Bluegreen will have to stop their shady practices. NO ONE should buy from these people. They have no morals and no values. I hope they are soon sued and have to go out of business from paying a bunch of lawsuits.

      Do NOT agree to listen to the phone promotional sale. You don’t get to stay in the resort that they are trying to get you to buy a timeshare. We paid $199 for a 4 night stay at a Choice Hotel We received a mail notification of our stay which had been changed to a 3 night stay. We were told that we wouldn’t be required to pay any other hotel charges. When we arrived at the hotel we had to pay $70 in taxes and $45/night for parking security. We were told we had a year to use the free stay. We were told we would receive a $25 American Express Gift Card just for listening to the phone promotional sale. Our mail notification stated we had to book our stay within 30 days in order to receive the $25 gift card. We were told the sales presentation would be no more than 2 hours. On March 12, 2023, we attended the sales presentation. After 2 hours we told them we weren’t interested and ended up leaving after 3 hours. The sales manager agreed that Bluegreen Vacations should have covered the hotel taxes and parking. He had us fill out a form for corporate to review and someone would contact us within 2-3 days. It’s been 5 days and no call from anyone. I am going to continue to complain about this company via online/online/phone until I am reimbursed.

      **WARNING** Bluegreen Timeshare Vacations is a ****! They will lie and deceive you solely to take your money to enrich themselves. They will hold you hostage for 4 or 5 hours and with persistent tricks and methods to sway you mind into believing you are getting a great deal. They will brainwash you into believing your investing in your future when you are throwing money away and making them wealthy. Dont be fooled by their fast-talking high-pressure salespeople. They will say anything to make you believe the timeshare is a good decision. Dont believe it!! We never agree to attend any sales presentations at Bluegreen Vacations anymore. We tried several times to make reservations with Bluegreen and they always had availability problems. They told us we were exclusive members, and we would get the best rooms. We tried to reserve rooms on several occasions without success. Not very exclusive.

      Blue Green's presentations were very misleading and full of deceptive practices. I was repeated told that this was not a timeshare, but it is. I was told I could use my points at anytime and at any resort, that was not true. The cabins that I was told I had access to, I didn't. Due to both me and my spouse being essential workers in law enforcement, we have been unable to take use the points for a vacation together during the pandemic and I was charged to rollover my points and then those points are limited in how and when you can use them. The maintenance fees have increased each year. Last year, I did not pay the maintenance fees within their 30 days of the due date was charged almost an additional $1000 in fees and the account was placed in collections. Blue Green is refusing to speak with me although my mortgage payments are up to date. I have found this has been the worst decision I have ever made and I want out of this contract. This program is costing me the same amount as my mortgage and I am unable to use it. I want out now!!!

      Sat for a sales presentation in *********** and we were not really sure what to expect. We were shocked when we explained to the salesman that we were not able to purchase at this time due to having to take care of a family member. We were temporarily financially strained but told them once this passes we would be interested. We were told we can stop making excuses, we are either going to buy or we are not. I ended our conversation at that time and walked out. Simply insulting tactics and not worth your time. Stay away

      Warning Blue Green has screwed its owners yet again. They have overhauled the choice privilege program. Current owners were not grandfathered in to these changes. Bluegreen is taking part of current Bluegreen inventory and putting it into the new choice program, which means already low inventory for current club members gets lower. I have owned the timeshare for 20 years and use my points, but I'm a silver premier owner and can.schedule a month earlier than most members. My maintenance fees and dues were about $600 when we joined Bluegreen, now they are right at $2500 and rise annually. I can't really recommend this program to anyone. Everytime you use your points, they push you to come to an update using various tactics where high pressure sales are the norm. They offer enticing gifts to get you there, but its really not worth the hassle and time involved and I do not need to speak to anyone from Bluegreen within 3-5 business days or ever.

      Bluegreen is a greedy company that will show no mercy while draining your pockets. I was scammed into purchasing 2 timeshares with them because of their lies and pressure. They told me I was rolling the new purchase into the old one, but they didnt and now I have 2 loans and 2 contracted timeshares. The only reason I attended the first sales presentation with Bluegreen was because they offered me a discounted stay as long as I just attend a SHORT presentation. I was kept there for over 3 hours. They insisted I buy something that day. They pushed and pushed, and I budged because I could not handle their pressure anymore. ALL THE PRAISE regarding the ownership of their timeshare, was false. During the presentation, I had felt confident in what I was buying because I had misguided trust in the salespeople, but I was wrong. The Bluegreen sales team cannot be trusted. They will lie and scam you into never ending debt and deliver very few of the benefits (if any) that they promise.
