      I 100% would not recommend. I feel that I was taken advantage of by this company. When they reached out to me to schedule a trip, I was given incorrect information that led to me being charged a $125 cancellation fee even though I was never told when and under what conditions the cancellation fee would take effect. The unclear and conflicting information that I received makes me feel as though I had been lied to.

      I agree with ****, if I could give them fewer starts I would!!!!! They lie to you -- you can't get reservations when you want them -- you have to plan your vacation around Bluegreen -- they suck!!!! This is a **** of a lot of money - year after year!!!! I have spoken to 5 employees today that gave me the run around and still couldn't help me. They just want your money - over and over again. You can get a nice hotel room, VRBO, Airbnb where ever you want in the country for the money they charge. VERY disappointing!!!!!!

      Bought the $199 package at Bass Pro Shops in Savannah, GA. I reside in Hilton Head SC. After being told I would get a luxury Cabin in the Smokey Mountains by the sales rep at Bass Pro Shop, I realized when booking there was no mention of a luxury Cabin. I was lied to for a sale. I have not used the $50 Bass Pro Shops gift card and I have emailed Blue Green Vacations about a refund and returning the $50 gift card. I will not tolerate being lied to and await their response.........

      If I could give them fewer stars I would. Dont ever purchase one of their 3 day vacation packages from Bass Pro, or Cabelas. When you try to book your reservations it shows every day is available until you choose them then it gives you a tiny message at the top of your screen that tells you the dates youve chosen arent available. Then if you try to get a refund you better make sure its within 30 days or youre not gettin your money back (that they dont tell you when you buy it). Oh its in the fine print on your receipt and supposedly on their website. I looked on the site. I had to ****** it to find it. Just *********************.

      Just like all the other horrible reviews on here, we bought the package from a Bass Pro shop and were promised a 3 night 4 day stay in Boyne Mountain. When we booked our stay, they stuck us in an incredibly subpar hotel in a town 30 MINUTES AWAY from Boyne. Petoskey is a great town and all, but that's not what we were promised. The only time we actually went to Boyne was for the presentation. We were told the presentation would be 2 hours, but ended up having to endure almost 4. We reminded them of the two hour obligation and were told that if we leave early, we're on the hook for the full stay in the hotel we were lied to about. During the group presentation, we were told "No pressure! This is an informational meeting and if it isn't for us, we're free to go." We saw right through their timeshare ** and decided we weren't interested. Nothing was as it seemed from the get. Instead of keeping their word of being "no pressure", we were encouraged to make a gigantic financial leap (gigantic) with incredibly high interest rates (17%) and steep annual fees. They tell you that you have to stay the for the whole presentation or you're on the hook for the crappy hotel they lie to you about. We were basically held hostage and kept having numbers tossed in our face until they were tuckered out like toddlers throwing a tantrum. No one showed us any kind of actual contract or legal paperwork to mull over. Just numbers sheets with a big "X" at the bottom. I could only imagine how you treat people once you already have them on a contract. Some of these reviews from actual owners are very telling. It's crazy, your 5 reviews seem like they use a lot of the same wording as your sales reps do. I felt like I was in the sales pitch reading some of those. It's almost like some paid bots read some sales transcripts.....almost. ;)

      We have been Bluegreen owners for over a decade. My opinion is the company has a split personality. The Property and Customer Service sides are terrific, but the Sales side is borderline predatory. We tend to avoid the Owner Update meetings unless we can be sure they hosted by Customer Service staff, rather than Sales staff. CS staff actually provide valuable information on the best ways to take advantage of the many benefits of ownership. Sales staff just want to get rid of you if you have no interest in upgrading and will not answer questions. High pressure is putting it mildly. We have VERY rarely been disappointed in our stays. The variety of locations is great and properties are almost universally well maintained.

      We have been Bluegreen owners for many years and we love the wide choice of resorts and the locations. The high quality of the units and always being able to have a large suite with kitchens and laundry’s make travelling so much easier. We just returned from Charleston our favourite place the Lodge Alley Inn and we hope to back again soon!

      Horrible, terrible customer service! Attended an ownership preview meeting-were told for $200 we would be able to get 4 round trip airline tickets to pretty much anywhere. Tried to redeem the vouchers, it would cost a LOT more money to actually be able to use them. After many, many phone calls, was told the vouchers should have been given to us FREE. Very disappointed. Stay away. Far, far away!

      BEWARE: What you get is NOT what you are initially shown.I signed up for three night getaway through a Bass Pro shop. I was shown a resort type property all over the country and they looked beautiful so booked for my wife and I on anniversary in Smoky Mountains.On arrival and checkin to Bluegreen the required presentation time was at worst time of day with no flexibility. Secondly the accommodation was NOT what I was originally shown. It was not a resort or even part of Bluegreen company. It was a hotel (****************************************) that was in process of renovation! We chose to pay $235 to get out of the presentation. Very disappointed with Bluegreen and advise buyer beware.
