      This was the worse Company and exsperiance I have ever had. Not to mention being treated so bad I cryed for 2 days just on that strength alone. I bought an 8 day exsplorer package with full intentions of purchasing. First they neglected to tell me that control of my vacation was literally in their hands not mine. The Bait and switch was beyond any I have ever known. They lied about avalability at a property I specifically bought the package for...and kept me on hold until the refund exsperation date had past. When I gave them the benefit of the doubt I then used it for a workshop I was having in *******. They fail to mention any of the "we dont do thats"Cannot attend the presentation on day of....cannot do the presentation on day of departure. So I had to interrupt and miss a workshop I spent ******* to attend.Then they KEPT threatening to charge me full Retail price to the tune of about *******+ if I didn't do what they wanted.... Day of presentation..and I'm sure people use this excuse alot...but it literally happened I also allowed the ** rep hear me on the phone with *****************...the rental breaks down 20 min before Our presentation. TRUE STORY!!... In stead of trying to get my family somewhere safe I called ** they wouldn't let me do it at any other time and advised me they where going to charge me full retail price for 3 days...about *******. I was frantic and stranded.We had to Uber back to the hotel with full intention to check out so that they would only charge me 2 day...so now I am homeless and Stranded in a city I know nothing about...I get to the counter and lose it...I cannot speak I am crying histerically..***** and Agent...at the front desk was probably the only people concerned and willing to help. They called the presentation people and THEY REFUSED to accommodate me for about 40 min..after ******'s persistence they told me to go to the welcome center and do it RIGHT NOW. ******** is the worse human I have ever came across reping a comp

      Do not use this company. They sell you this fake dreams of vacationing at their properties and increase your monthly payment as well as yearly payments.This is a commitment that you can not get out of. Avoid this company aka ******** who dress professional for a living.

      We have been Bluegreen owners for about 20 years and love it. We take more vacations than we would otherwise, and can always count on the resorts to be really nice. We have stayed at many of their resorts and are never disappointed. It seems to be the bad reviews are people who are expecting something for nothing, or next to nothing. You get what you pay for in this life and nothing is free. The prices of everything are going up, so if you expected your maintenance fees would remain unchanged, you're living in a dream world. When you only buy the minimum amount of points, don't expect to get into the resort you want, when you want. Maybe the problem is they need to increase the number of points you have to buy when you initially purchase points. After that, decrease what you have to purchase so people can add to their ownership over time. To vacation with Bluegreen you have to plan ahead. Get on the wait list for the resort you want as soon as you can, or at the very least book as soon as the window opens. You snooze, you lose. I can't speak to how they are selling the trips at Cabela's or Bass Pro Shops, as we didn't buy that way. If they are lying to people, shame on them. But people, use your brains. You're not going to get to stay at a place a nice as these resorts for one night, let alone 2 or 3 for anywhere near what you paid for your getaway. You had to expect they would put you up at a lower rated hotel. Have you never been to a nice hotel? They're expensive! Bluegreen resorts are better than hotels because they're like having an entire apartment, not just a bedroom. We already have our trips booked for next year and are looking forward to more vacations at Bluegreen's beautiful resorts!

      Big Cedar Owners Review - BlueGreen Vacations We have always enjoyed the Blue Green ************************* resort until this visit. The Owners Update During our October 2022 stay was horrible. We have been owners for 25+ years and this is THE WORST we have ever experienced - worse than the high pressure tactics.We were ready to purchase points to take us from Silver to Gold membership, pricing was in place and a signed paper in front of us. We even made the arrangements for payment. Then there was what we felt like was a huge bait and switch. Perhaps no staff was at fault, they both seemed nice - maybe there are no policies in place to prevent this selling tactic, and many people just simply pay the additional amount requested. I assume this is how Bluegreen does business - maybe that is how the system works currently, I don't know but it was awful. Our entire family was here - to hopefully sign what we thought would be paperwork to make this purchase happen and adjust titles. Unfortunately when it came to the "final" amount after the negotiated purchase price - the amount went up by over $5000 on what was supposed to be a $21K purchase. Left a bait and switch taste in our mouth. We also found that when our previous points purchase was done it negated all of the benefits of owning at Big Cedar. That information was certainly left out of that conversation as well. Another bait and switch? Perhaps. Unfortunately if this is the business model Bluegreen is promoting - it now feels like a bad experience purchasing a used vehicle from less than honest people. We revisited the preview center to ask for the paper we signed - they indicated it had been shredded but assured us the district manager would call the next day. No Call Came. Surprised? I'm not.I sincerely hope they can and will want to get back to owners experiences being the center of their business. I am not optimistic this is their goal - simply making money at any cost.

      Stay away from this company. Definitely a ****!!! They do everything for you to buy the package so they obviously not gonna tell you the requirements of income 50kyear you have to proof so youre screwed without being able to book it. It passed the date the purchase they wont even wants to give a refund. Its absurd. Totally a ****. As I read in different reviews, ****** hotels and etc. should definitely be forced to close this business. If I at least could get the money I paid for it back, wouldnt be here complaining. Cant do the trip and cant have my money back. Annoying!!!!!!

      The WORST **** out there. You buy this special which is nothing more than you buying some crappy hotel stay nearby one of THEIR locations aka resorts. You can upgrade said resort for a cost of $75,$80, etc. each night and STILL have to listen to a mandatory timeshare presentation. They are not caring or want to make your experience memorable, they want another sale that is it. Save your money and go to an all inclusive where you dont have to waste your time and money.

      If youre considering a purchase from Bluegreen, please do yourself a favor and reconsider. It has been a nightmare for us for 6 years dealing with the high maintenance fees and no availability when trying to make a reservation. Everything involves more and more fees, even to access your own points. I feel that it is a total ****. I wish that someone would have warned me before I wasted the money.

      As ****** below me said... Don't fall for it. We signed with Bluegreen thinking vacations were going to be awesome and easy to use etc. Well it's near impossible to book with them, you only have a small window to book and nothing is available. You pay for something you can't use. I have no doubt if I searched for the same location with a different name not being a member I would be able to go stay at Bluegreen. This place is as a ****! Avoid at all cost!

      DO NOT BOOK, DO NOT EVEN ENTERTAIN THE ***** We were contacted by Bluegreen factions through ************** We are valued customers through Choice and figured that we would have a good experience. We had the opportunity to visit *********** for the first time. We agreed to the timeshare presentation and figured that the place that they offered us was going to be a good experience because... They are trying to sell us something after all. VERY DISAPPOINTED! The place that they booked us was old, dirty and the locks on the door did not even work, and they booked us for the wrong type of room and we were unable to switch to what we had requested. We scheduled the presentation earlier in the day and then had to reschedule because of a conflict. We ended up having to tell them three or four times that it was at 1:30 not 11:30. On the phone when booking we committed to 45 minutes I believe... if not that than an hour... we were there for HOURS! The accommodations that they put us in did not have working locks, had disgusting dust caked on the ceiling fan and was just gross! At the presentation ****** was friendly but when joking with him he said that I could never do his job... I said, "why because I am a little bitchy?" He responded , "Not just that!" Also, ****** his "supervisor" was dismissive and rude when I came to him about my concerns about where we were booked and I did not have faith in their customer service and their company after seeing the accommodations. We were unable to make our flight out that day because they kept us and we felt trapped. We ended up leaving the next day and had to wait 18 hours at the airport flying standby to try and get on a flight out. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. DO NOT COMMIT! THEY DO NOT HOLD UP THEIR END OF THE DEAL AND THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL, PUSHY, and BOOK YOU AT HORRIBLE ACCOMMODATIONS!

      Don’t fall for it. We were booked for Myrtle Beach and due to Hurricane Ian we had to cancel as we had to travel 2 days to get there. Now we are told we do not get a refund, the refund is only good 30 days after purchase. All they want is your money, they don’t care about customer service. This is nothing more than a rip off. Bluegreen vacations is nothing more than a ****.
