The delivery and pickup in ******* went very well. The problem was that PODs charged me for a third POD that I cancelled and that had not been delivered. I called and was assured that they were submit an order to refund that charge. They did not do that. When I called weeks later after getting the credit card bill, the man argued that I had to prove that they had gotten the money! I ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company. The delivery in North Carolina also did not go well. The man doing the delivery refused to place the first POD in the location that would allow room for the second POD. He ended up dropping the second POD downhill, which caused the door to be jammed. I called to report the jam and was assured that they could send a truck back to lift the front end of the POD to shift the load away from the door. It would take 2 to 5 days before that would happen. They would sent me an email when it was scheduled. I requested a different pickup date for the second POD because we needed more time to empty the POD after the door could be opened. I was given a new pickup date. No email and no truck happened. My husband was able to lift the roof, release the jam, and we unloaded the POD. We were pleased that a different man came to pickup both PODs on the original pickup date. He was shocked at how we were treated. The charge for a service not provided as well as not providing the service promised was the reason for my score for PODs.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE PODS. I have used them three times, and after this disaster, never again. The driver flat-out refused to deliver my container to the storage facility even though I had called ahead, confirmed it was allowed, and PODS had delivered there before without any issues. I gave the driver *two* clear options for where to drop off in the parking lot, and he still refused. Because of this driver's poor judgment, I was forced to scramble at the last minute to rent a moving truck, hire movers, and completely rework my plans costing me hundreds of dollars, hours of wasted time, and a ridiculous amount of stress. When I called PODS to get help, they refused to have a supervisor call me. I had to chase them down for two weeks, and when a so-called "manager" finally returned my call, they were rude, dismissive, and basically told me it was my problem, not theirs. No accountability, no apology, and no customer service whatsoever. This company clearly does not care about their customers anymore. Theyre charging premium prices but delivering bottom-barrel service. PODS used to be reliable now they are just an expensive nightmare. I will NEVER use PODS again, and I strongly warn anyone else considering them: stay away and pick a different company.PODS Moving & Storage

This was the easiest move I have ever done. The delivery was smooth and drivers were very professional and friendly. My next move will be on a much larger scale and I will be using PODS without a doubt.PODS Moving & Storage

Terrible experience and I will not use PODS again. Called to request pick up and delivery of POD from our home. POD was picked up but instead of being delivered to the requested address 40 miles away, they took it to a storage center where it sat for a week. Then they delivered the pod. So we were charged for delivery to the storage center and rent while it sat there and then deliver AGAIN to deliver it to our home. We had to pay an additional month's rent of $350 because they delivered it to our home on the day rent was charged and don't prorate. We paid $350 for TWO DAYS. Buyer beware. They do not prorate rent. Almost $1800 to keep a storage unit for 2 months and move it 40 miles. Don't bother trying to call anyone to get a refund, the person I talked to on the phone was at her house doing laundry and seemed annoyed I was bothering her.PODS Moving & Storage

I DO NOT RECOMMEND PODS/Pack & Load Services I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying their insurance PODS has Pack & Load on their recommended list for packers and loaders, so I chose them – big mistake. Miscalculated load size - Pack & Load grossly miscalculated the size of PODs needed, so I was forced to leave behind many treasured items (large silk palm trees, tool boxes, shelf unit), in spite of them reassuring me several times that everything would fit in my PODS. Theft - During packing, a Pack & Load employee stole a locked metal box and a ring. Fortunately, the company did recover my ring and I appreciate their effort. Damage - Pack & Load packed my TV in a TV box. It was so jammed into the POD that when unloaded, they had to twist the box to get the POD door opened which damaged my TV. Pack & Load packed a box with an arrow pointing up with large pictures. They delivered it upside down, with several pictures inside damaged or broken. Several of my wicker dining room chairs had scruffed spots because they were not protected enough. Insurance Virtually Worthless - Reimbursement for damaged items is based on weight at 60 cent per pound – big mistake. They only allowed $25 for my damaged $515 TV based on weight. I guess I would have only gotten 60 cents for my $1000 ring if it had not been recovered! Neither PODS nor Pack & Load responded to my complaint letter.

My POD experience was delightful except on little problem with a flooded empty POD, thank goodness. Called it in an got a replacement pod with in one day. I was very pleased how everything went to the drop off, pick up and the move to the warehouse where I wanted my Pod delivered until I had a place where I could move this out. The warehouse was exceptional. It was cool and cleaner than my home. The ware house manger was friendly, helpful and gave me hints about my unscheduled POD drop off. Would I ever use the POD Storage again. You bet. In a heart beat!PODS Moving & Storage

They were having a sale, and since I booked the Pod on the last day of the sale, I felt rushed to decide and order a Pod. I missed my evening TV show to do it before the deadline. Then the next day they tell me the sale was extended so I rushed for nothing. They sent me an email saying I did not need to be home for the delivery, but it turned out I did need to be home. I also feel the delivery and rental charges are excessive. I think ****** a month to rent a small Pod is too much. If it was ****** for the large size it might be fair.PODS Moving & Storage

Our PODS delivery/pickup was a wonderful experience. Pricing was good, we had 3 different drivers, each of whom updated us on the arrival time, very friendly and professional. No issues with drop-off or delivery. We would highly recommend them.PODS Moving & Storage
