      Exploria, you've turned our retirement dreams into a nightmare! At 70 and 74, we deserve better than this. From the deceitful cold call promising a trip to Orlando to the never-ending, aggressive sales meetings, you've shown nothing but contempt for your “owners”! Joel Brownstein's 9-hour sales demonstration was a masterclass in deception and **. We were promised the moon and back, but what we got was a money pit with endless fees. And let's not forget the denied release, forced into a pricier unit, a classic bait and switch on senior citizens. The Gatlinburg trip - supposedly a getaway but turned into another upgrade ambush led by Rachel ****** and Karen **********. Thousands spent on an upgrade we never wanted. Exploria is only interested in trapping you into more and more debt! Contracts shoved at us on a confusing thumb drive, questions dismissed, it's clear you wanted to keep us in the dark. But not anymore! People need to know what these crooks do to seniors! Their rooms? A hot tub flooding our carpet, a fireplace that never worked, and a kitchen-less "upgrade." You’re better off staying at Motel 6 that is comparable to Exploria accommodations and doesn’t require you to sign your life away. Over $100,000 sunk into this pit. Don’t get taken advantage of by Exploria, they need to be fined and punished for senior abuse!

      Exploria sales reps are deplorable and not honest! I hope this serves as a warning to anyone considering getting involved in their scheme. Don’t fall for any one of their fake friendliness because they’re quite good at BS’ing people to get you to buy! What’s worse is that once you’re a member, using the points is practically impossible. I called and complained about this and several of the lies we were told at the sales meeting and one of their own reps told me that the person I dealt with “needed to be retrained” and that Exploria sales reps had permission to “stretch the truth”. There’s a serious problem with accountability. They will tell you one thing to convince you to buy in but most of it is outright lies. The main lie we were told was that our membership would give us access to international all-inclusive properties. Not true! We caught on soon after agreeing to buy and we made it a point to try and cancel immediately but doing so was also near impossible. They denied it because I was outside the recession period even though I have proof that I attempted to cancel within the timeframe and it was them that sabotaged me. We now understand why they would not give us access to the booking website until 30 days after we purchased! Exploria’s practices are hurting people and it doesn’t appear that anyone is doing anything about it! They mishandle the way they get you to sign the documents. Rushing over all the important details while playing up the supposed benefits. They didn’t tell us we’d be paying 16% interest on the loan they had us take out. Anytime we asked questions we were given half-baked responses. For the price of joining, you’d expect there to be more regulation oversight. They’re ripping people off and it needs to stop. I hope to see a lawsuit or a shutdown from the state because what they have done to me is criminal. Shame on Exploria. Be sure to avoid them if you’re going to the Poconos!

      individual's discretion, and potential buyers have the freedom to leave the
      presentation whenever they wish. In this specific instance, you made the
      choice to stay throughout the presentation and, as a result, proceeded with the
      purchase. Please be advised your Club Exploria membership provides you with
      direct access to the Club Exploria Resort Portfolio which does include a number
      of all-inclusive resorts, however there are additional fees to book the
      all-inclusive resorts. This information is located in the Member Guide. We
      would also like to remind you that you also have access to the RCI portfolio
      which includes all-inclusive resorts. You mentioned that you wanted to cancel
      your purchase within the rescission period. However, on February 3, 2023, we
      received an email from you which states the following:” Hello, I would like to
      keep my membership/ownership and uncancel my cancelation request. Please let me
      know if any additional information is needed. Thank you, Nithya.”  In
      addition, you were also provided with additional 200 Bonus EXPOs. All the
      details regarding your loan are clearly stated within the purchase documents
      including your Promissory Note in which you acknowledged and signed. Since you
      are now well past your rescission period, and we are unable to fulfill your
      request for cancellation, we encourage you to contact Member Services to
      utilize your membership. You can email them directly at [email protected] and they will assist you with your reservation needs. Thank you for allowing us
      the opportunity to address this matter.

      It is with great regret that I must express my dissatisfaction with the way that Exploria runs its business. My wife and I fell prey to their high-pressure sales tactics in 2006 when we purchased Summer Isles Condominium I Unit No. 501-303 for $17,361. At the time of purchase, we were promised a range of benefits that were simply too good to be true. We were told that we could choose any week to stay at the home resort, at any time of year. We were also promised that we would never lose our weeks and that if we bought points instead of weeks, we could increase availability and flexibility, reduce exchange fees and costs of travel, and even use exchange points for airfare, car rental, entertainment, golf, and more.
      Unfortunately, our experience with Exploria has been far from what was promised. We have been subjected to numerous high-pressure timeshare presentations over the years, which have been at best stressful and at worst harassing. Despite owning two units, we have been unable to book them when we wish or rent them out, making the investment a huge waste of money. In addition, when we have visited the resort, we have never been treated as guests at our own property, but rather as targets for sales. This has left us feeling disappointed and undervalued as investors.
      Despite being promised special marketplace weeks, personal concierge services through the new Summer Bay Resorts Crown Club, we have been unable to capitalize on these supposed benefits. Instead, we have suffered tremendous financial and emotional losses.
      We cannot recommend them to anyone who may be considering investing in timeshares. Their high-pressure sales tactics, false promises, and lack of follow-through on commitments have left me and my family feeling deceived and mistreated. It is my hope that others will be spared similar experiences by avoiding this company altogether.

      This company is a group of scam artists. They screw you around and screw you around and screw you around some more. We "won" some ** promotion, the scam artist told us we won a 2 part vacation at 2 separate resorts, all-inclusive worth $4000 and all we had to do was "pay the taxes" of $300. Well after paying the $300 we come to find out this isn't an "all inclusive vacation" that we won, all we did was buy a promotional vacation package with a room at a discounted value. Within 24 hours we called the company back for a full refund, in accordance with the terms and conditions of purchasing a promotion vacation package from them. They lie and say only the supervisor can refund our money and he will call you in 24 hours. He never does. We call back, speak to someone else who tries to get us to keep the package for a discount. We don't want that, we want a full refund. They agree and say it will happen in 5 days. Full refund still hasn't happened. All we want is our money back. What kind of a scam artist, thieving company won't refund their customers' money to them in accordance with their terms and conditions, without playing hours and hours of games. We don't want to visit your scam artist, run down, timeshare scamming trash town. Give us our money back thieves.

      I am writing this review to share my experience with Exploria and their sales team. My family and I attended a meeting that lasted between 90-120 minutes, where we were presented with a time share and a promotional cruise to the Bahamas for “free”. As it turned out, the cruise was not free at all. The presentation was filled with high-pressure sales tactics, and we were constantly lured back even when we tried to leave.We were promised that RCI points could be easily used at any time, just a call or a click away. However, we have attempted to use our points several times, only to be disappointed by the lack of availability of both location and time frame. It has become a hardship to roll over points since our points were every other year. We cannot in good conscience allow our loved ones to stay at a resort that is unsafe. The financial burden of this timeshare is great, with costs rising yearly.The Summer Bay maintenance fees, there is also the yearly RCI usage fee. The stress of attempting to find available locations to use our points and gaining more points, as well as rolling them over, has caused a great deal of emotional and financial stress. In today's market, where vacation alternatives such as camping and other vacation packages are widely available, this timeshare has absolutely no benefit to us and never has. We are extremely disappointed in our experience with Exploria and their sales team. We feel that we were misled, misinformed, and misrepresented. We did not receive the product that was promised to us, and it has had a severe impact on our lives.
      It is time for Exploria to take responsibility for their actions and address the many issues associated with their timeshare program. We ask that you take our complaints seriously and make the necessary changes to help future consumers avoid the same situation.We urge others to be cautious when attending a timeshare presentation by Exploria, and encourage them to take their business elsewhere.

      unable to recreate your sales experience, as Exploria Resorts was not the developer

      signed purchase documents for review of your concerns. Our review of how the
      purchase was conveyed in 2003 indicates that appropriate disclosures were
      provided at the time of your purchase in 2003. We further confirmed that we
      have corresponded with you previously, so you are aware that Exploria Resorts
      does not currently have a buy back or resale program to purchase or accept any
      title to any Vacation Interest. You may want to consider transferring your
      timeshare to a family member or friend or consider a reputable resale company

      I have never experienced such disappointment from a company in my life! Exploria has taken advantage of my wife and I and they seemingly have no regrets. We were misled and did not have all the information necessary to make an informed decision. The sales team and loan officer are fully responsible for the misrepresentation and omissions, and they intentionally misled us into this purchase! They acted in ways that were deceptive and shameful. An unrealistic picture of the benefits and potential of owning a timeshare, including promises of investment and high rental profits, which have not been fulfilled. To make matters worse, when we asked to cancel the timeshare because of the fraudulent sale, they ignored us! Stay away from the manipulative conmen at Exploria and you might actually have a chance at enjoying your future vacations.

      information is provided directly above your signature on your purchase
      documents in multiple locations, however, you did not cancel within the

      upgrade to stay in one of our villas, and your reservation was confirmed for a
      room at Exploria Express. We did, however, refund your taxes and resort fees as

      STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!! I have had a terrible experience and I don’t even own a timeshare. We attended a cult recruiting presentation that promised the world and were pressured into buying it without allowing us to think about it. Thankfully we couldn’t afford it, but still wanted to check people’s experience. I’m saddened many people are experiencing such terrible things as owners. Watch out for the rookie of the year Kalamine ******** aka “KK” who made the company over $460,000 in one year by selling LIES and scamming hardworking people! She seems sweet but shes a smooth operator who tries to relate to you to ravel you in! We then had to deal with what we ascertained to be the “closer”. An old red headed condescending witch. She was incredibly manipulating and cold, but it didn’t work on us. We implore the rest of you to not fall for their tactics.

      I pre-paid for a rental car through this company and due to the person who referred me deciding to close their account, they have stated that they are unable to access my invoice or a breakdown of my charges. There should be no reason that I have paid my money to someone and they can’t provide me with a receipt or breakdown of charges. In addition, the customer service is subpar. The first person I spoke with hung up on me, the second person was pleasant but unknowledgeable, and the third was downright rude and try to over-talk and interrupt me every chance she got. When I asked to speak with a supervisor so that I would not get frustrated with her, she placed me on hold for well over 30 minutes. A supervisor never came to the line.

      I am extremely dissatisfied with the services provided by Exploria Resorts. My husband and I were misled about the affordability and benefits of owning a timeshare, and instead have been burdened with increasing maintenance fees and a lack of availability. The pushy salespeople pressured us into purchasing the timeshare, despite us declining all the offers thrown at us. After a couple of hours, we had enough and caved to an $8000 price. I wish the employees went over the contract with us because we would not have signed it if we had seen that it was really $13,862! When we got home and finally read the 28-page contract, we found out we got a 2-bedroom in East Stroudsburg, PA! We would not have spent so much if we knew that’s where we had to vacation.

      We mailed a letter requesting termination of the contract outlining all the reasons we want out. We detailed all our complaints and received a reply from “Member Services”. They didn’t address a single complaint, they took zero accountability and sent us 3 paragraphs of “You’re on your own, so try and sell it”. This company is a complete joke, and we plan on going to the Attorney General and filing complaints against them.

      ANYONE READING THIS, WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO FILE COMPLAINTS WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND ANY OTHER AGENCY THAT OVERSEES THE BUSINESS OF TIMESHARE SCAMS!

      multiple locations, you were provided with the right to cancel within a ten
      (10) calendar day period after the date you signed the documents. We do not
      have record of you cancelling within those ten (10) calendar days. As per the
      terms and conditions outlined in your purchase agreement that you signed on
      December 23, 2018, the cancellation period has expired, and the circumstances
      presented do not warrant an exception to the contractual obligations. While we
      are unable to grant you a late cancellation request, we encourage you to
      explore alternative options such as transferring to a family member or friend
      or consider reaching out to a reputable and legitimate timeshare resale
