      I have had NOTHING but trouble with this outfit ! Every month or so they change the way they accept payments. Their website is never working and when it does, it will charge you for each time the site tells you to try back later ! God I regret ever dealing with this company ! The call center never has a rep to talk with ! Less than one star !

      Someone really needs to look into this company! Worst mortgage company around and I'm surprised and floored they are still in business. I would give 0 stars if I could. Their website wont accept my payment either because their website is having maintenance issues or is down so I call their customer support line multiple times only for the automated system to tell me there is no representative available for me to talk to to make a payment. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY AS FAST AS YOU CAN. NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS ALL THE ***** CAN'T REACH ANYONE.

      We thank you for your feedback through the BBB portal.  Foremost, we hear and understand your frustration.  We do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with the servicing company who handles your loan; we appreciate the opportunity to further explain.  Lakeview does not service any mortgage loans, instead, Lakeview contracts with several different servicing companies who perform the day to day servicing activities.

      One of the servicers did experience an outage but their systems were restored towards the end of last week. Please keep checking their website for updates as their system and phone line account access should be working this week..       I have tried multiple times to call and talk to a rep during business hours and just get hung up on. The website was having issues taking my mortgage payment. When I was finally able to pay it I received 4 different emails stating my payment was received. They were all dated for different days. I tried to call to make sure I was scheduled for only one payment and I cannot get through to a rep. I just want to talk to someone and make sure but thats not possible at this time!

      This company is the absolute worst. Their business hours are supposedly from 8AM eastern time to 6 PM--it is now 10:20 on a Friday morning and I have tried calling this business ten times over the last hour and it continues to go to the automated service that says sorry for the inconvenience and hangs up. Attempts to make a payment online and over the phone have failed and I cannot get through to anyone to see why this is happening.

      Unfortunately, my mortgage was sold to this company. I was never notified that their website would be down or that there was a data breach, but apparently that is what happened. Now that their website is "back up" but poorly running, all of my monthly statements have disappeared and I am unsure if my payment will continue to be drafted. They do not answer the phone during business hours. There is no chat or email option online. Of course, they have been able to send out promotional emails begging you to refinance or buy a new home with them this entire time. Horrible customer service.

      We do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with the servicer who handles your loan; and we appreciate the opportunity to answer any questions or further explain.  Phone lines are back up and so is the website but right now since it's the 1st of the month, there is a large volume attempting to get through.  

      Please do try again within a couple of days. The servicer has posted information and explained they will not be charging customers late fees nor negative credit reporting due to their outage.

      WE have made multiple attempts to pay our mortgage. We have called customer care for days with no answer and only automated responses. We have not been able to access our online account to pay our mortgage, even after receiving emails stating that the online system is up and running. This company does not seem legit. We will be filing complaints with the BBB to bring their inefficiency to the light. If you have this mortgage company Refinance and get a different lending company.

      I havent been able to access my account nor get in contact with this company for DAYS. When you call they dont answer and you are unable to login to their site. I am unable to access my mortgage information because of this issue. There is no way to get ahold of them and no notice has been sent out about there system being down. It has been over 5 days and I still have yet to receive any assistance or notice. This is horrible service and causes extreme stress for consumers.

      I am not happy at the fact that I cannot make a payment or get any account information. I did not receive any correspondence of why I cannot. Called multiple times and I get a message saying the agents cannot access my account. We dont know if we should be concerned because my property taxes are due as well as my monthly home owners insurance policy. I also dont want to be reported to the credit bureau for being late. I would like answers

      Lets start most recently: about 5 days ago there was a large cyber attack against Fidelity; okay big deal I don't use them. I log on today to pay my mortgage and there is a notice stating that all Lakeview services have been shut down due to a catastrophic cyber attack. They have said NOTHING about this; no emails, no phone calls, no letter mail...nothing. The only reason I even knew it happened is because I tried to pay my mortgage this morning. They were telling people that it would be up and running Monday yet here we are on Wednesday 11/29/2023 and it still isn't operational.Backing up a bit: My mortgage was sold to these people about a year ago as this happens. I have had zero issues with my mortgage, insurance etc. at any point...until Lakeview gets involved. I randomly get a letter stating that there was a lapse in my home owners insurance which there clearly wasn't. I called them once, they said they fixed THEIR error (They had it noted that my insurance expired on the first of the month when it in fact expired on the 31st). I continue getting letters saying I am going to owe them money and that they will simply "purchase" home owners insurance on my behalf. I call again and it as if the first conversation never happened. I provided my proof of insurance coverage that clearly stated the dates and was told again, Its all set. More letters show up so I call again. At this point, while on the phone with her, the representative called my home owners insurance rep who was equally as confused by this woman who clearly was in above her head as they were asking for paperwork that doesn't exist. To placate her the insurance rep tactfully said they would send something over. JOKE OF A COMPANY. The fact that we have no say in who handles our mortgages and the only way out is to refinance should be illegal. Their star rating should be so low they actually owe me stars.

      Horrible company to work with. They are difficult to get a response from regarding any issues including why my mortgage has gone up every year for the past 4 years. They say it is due to property taxes and lack of escrow fund but I have checked multiple times and I always have a surplus of funds in my escrow account in comparison to my taxes/insurance.Now their parent company has had a cyber attack and in turn they shut down all systems for the parent company FNF and all subsidiaries but there hasn't been a single notice sent to their customers regarding the issues and nobody seems to know when the issues will be resolved. I have been trying to pay my mortgage for over a week and their website is still down and i spent nearly an hour on hold and could never get anyone on the phone. The limited information I have been able to find has all been from Reddit, but they are still sending spam emails and letters trying to push for refinance and other services that would make them money while they can't even inform their customers.I genuinely hope there is another class action lawsuit against FNF and Lakeview at this point. They are more than happy to take our money but when it comes to actually being professional and helping their customers, they couldn't care less.

      I am sorry to hear of your experience.  We will need to reach out to you via your email above to further discuss your mortgage payment increases over the past 4 years.  If you have a 30-year fixed rate loan, a customer's monthly PITI can typically increase annually based on taxes and insurance increasing. Even though there may be a small surplus left from the prior year, the servicer will need to anticipate collecting extra "in advance" when the new annual analysis is generated in order to accomodate any such increases.
