      I had a mortgage with them and they were the worst service ever. I was trying to refinance through someone else and I asked for payoff 2 times to make sure I had right amount only for them to decline my payoff check and have to resubmit another one due to there error and they yelled at me on the phone over it. I would never take a loan out with them again.

      They will attempt to foreclose without actually talking to you and seeing if you're making up for the defaults on top of paying the regular monthly mortgage.I will say that the only reason that the defaults happened was because I had been out of a job for a SINGLE month and we had expenses like bills and repairs due to the "lemon" of a house we were sold.

      Customer service (real person service) was great, since they did understand what was going on with my account and were able to tell me exactly how to proceed. The issue I have is the online portals that are used to handle autodraft, payment processing, past-due resolution, and anything around my obligation are misleading. The website doesn't tell me if I'm in default or behind on monthly payments. The portal doesn't tell me how much I owe. I have to call a person on the customer support line to even be able to tell me exactly how much I'm behind and how to return to a $0 balance. Meanwhile, I wake up once a month to an Experian credit update informing me of Lakeview dinging my credit for every default. This system is designed to keep people in default and unaware of their status. I do receive letters in the mail indicating a default issue but it doesn't explain how or why it is happening, nor does it match what I see on the portal.

      These guys are a joke! They ******* up my escrow. They calculated my taxes at $0 and sent me a disbursement. I wish I was that lucky! I called and told them it was a mistake and they wouldn't listen. Then when they received the tax bill, they paid it and charged me an overdraft fee on my escrow account. Then I sold my home. After the sale and the balance was paid in full, they debited my account again for another mortgage payment. I understand sometimes timing is difficult and so I called them and it was no big deal. The customer service rep apologized and told me that it would be refunded via a check within 10 days. We are now going on three weeks and I still haven't received a check so I called to check the status. The customer rep told me that nothing had been processed and so it would be 15 business days before a check would be sent. That was not consistent with what I was told previously so I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was transferred to the "Escalation Team". The lady I was transferred to was ***** (ID # *****. To say she was unhelpful would be an understatement. To start off the call she was obviously distracted with whatever else was going on around her. She was short, unapologetic, and unable or unwilling to resolve the issue. She again told me that nothing would be done for another 15 business days and that no one else would be able to expedite the return of my funds. I'm not sure what the point of having an "escalation team" is? The fact is my loan was paid in full and closed on August the 11th. On August 15th they debited my account for another payment (ON A LOAN THAT HAD BEEN CLOSED). In my eyes, that is theft! If you have a choice, take your loan and escrow elsewhere!

      If they want to charge you more its no problem but if you want to get your payment lowered to survive in this terrible economy I hope you have a vacation time to take to try and deal with these people its always someone elses job jumping through hoops to get anything done its sad really theyre trash

      Absolutely horrible customer service (if you want to call it that). Homeowner was not delinquent but they sent out an "Independent Field Inspector" to the property for an unknown reason. Said inspector was confronted by a family friend because he was sneaking around the property and looking through windows. Said inspector would not tell the family friend why he was there. Said inspector left a very vague note to call Lakeview with their phone number on it.

      Awful company that uses the We provide no customer service because we dont have to and dont give a **** model. Its automated phone system is circular. Neither the phone system nor the person on the chat (texting; which was hard to find) recognize my name, account number, phone number or any other ID, despite the fact that it sends me bills and takes my money every month. The person on the other end of the text chat explicitly told me that nobody will call me; the company doesnt do that. Exasperating and astonishing.

      My mortgage was transferred to them a few months ago. Immediately with the first notice of the transfer they increased my monthly payment significantly with no explanation. When I tried to call to get information as I didn't even have an account number sent to me I couldn't get a working number for this company! The number on the loan transfer notice and all of their websites were disconnected. Obviously I assumed this to be a scam. After calling my previous mortgage company I got a working number. They were so rude and downright inappropriate with me. I simply asked for further information and informed them having non working numbers. I was talked over and they didn't care. I shared concern with giving these people my money. I then tried to set up an online account for payments as I didn't trust to give this rude person my personal information. I couldn't log in to the account on several occasions and it would not accept my payment. I've had my mortgage nearly 3 years and NEVER missed a payment. They tried to report my payment late as I had just transferred with no info and all these issues. Better **************** has been contacted. Currently speaking with an attorney on how to get this transferred. I truly believe this is a scam company!

      This *** company needs to be shut down. Nothing but issues ever since my loan got sold to them. They constantly ***** up my account which has cost me thousands of dollars. Save yourself the frustration of dealing with these ********. Customer service is a joke. I can literally call a dozen times back to back about the same problem and get shuffled around back and forth and get a different answer every single time. I'm to the point of pulling out every single little loan I can to pay off my balance so I can rid myself of this joke of a company.

      Back in February I request for assistance due to an employment transfer. Originally requested to defer ONE month payment because thats all I needed. They said they did not offer deferment for FHA loans even though Ive been with them on this mortgage for 2 years and I would have to go through a mortgage assistance application and see if they can do anything to help. They offered me a loan modification and I agreement to it because I didnt want my credit to be affected and was told it would not be. In *** my payment was unexpectedly refunded but repaid within a few days, no idea what caused the refund but paid the day I noticed it was refunded (never received any notice it was rejected) Mid June I received the documents needed to finalize the agreement but was stating I was in a Partial claim not loan modification when I began questioning the lady was extremely rude and told me they are the same thing. Finally found out they switched my assistance to a partial claim instead of loan modification WITHOUT TELLING ME because of the *** payment refund canceled the agreement and they were not the same thing also if I didnt sign the forms and return them within 10 days of the date on the letter it would cancel out all agreements bring the account late and show missed payments but didnt receive them until 7days after they were mailed out. Signed returned was told credit reporting would be fixed. Now coming into august still being told my account is not current because payments were not made correctly because I was apparently off my $4 which according to my trial payment plan I made MORE than my minimum payment, an escrow form I received in *** is why they are saying my payments were not made to the full amount yet the document stated that payment amount doesnt start until JULY. Now my credit report shows multiple missed payments, the money I paid over the course of 3 months is showing as unpaid and keep getting told those payments didnt count towards my loan
