Absolutely HORRIBLE company. Since the data breech, we have not been able to pay our mortgage online like we have in the past. All of a sudden the banking information was incorrect without it even being changed! Now we have to pay through a money order for 6 MONTHS FOR A MISTAKE ON THEIR END. Its has been almost 2 WEEKS AND OUR PAYMENT FOR FEBRUARY HAS STILL NOT GONE THROUGH! it is ridiculous that they refuse to help, or take any accountability for what has been going on. We have had so many issues since December. Now we are putting our credit at risk because they are not processing our payment !Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC

My personal information was stolen. I was asked to go through a third party to monitor my identity, but even they seem sketchy. Title: Deceptive Practices and False Promises: A Warning About Lakeview ******** Services subserviced by Loancare I am utterly disappointed and appalled by the deceitful practices of Lakeview ******** Services. When I sought their assistance for a mortgage, I explicitly mentioned that having bi-weekly payment options was a crucial factor for me due to my financial planning. Lakeview representatives assured me that they offered such a service. However, upon signing up and initiating the process, I discovered that they did not have this option available, despite their earlier claims.This blatant lie not only caused inconvenience but also shook my trust in their integrity as a mortgage provider. It's deeply troubling to think that a company would stoop so low to secure business. Their false promises not only misled me but also put my financial stability at risk.I have decided to refinance with another bank as soon as possible, as I can no longer trust Lakeview ******** Services with such an important aspect of my financial well-being. Additionally, I will be reporting this incident to the appropriate authorities, including the VA, to ensure that others are aware of their deceptive practices.In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone considering Lakeview ******** Services to proceed with extreme caution. Lakeview apologizes for any miscommunication you may have inadvertently received. Please be aware your new servicer is currently reviewing a process for a bi-weekly payment option.The loan representative whom you spoke with initially may not have known there would be a different servicer involved after the refinance. The sales team does not know where a new mortgage loan will be serviced after the transaction closes. The employee made a mistake and incorrectly assumed the prior servicer, who did have the bi-weekly a program, would again be the servicer of the new loan.
Unfortunately, unknowingly by the employee, the loan was transferred to a different servicer, hence this was not a deceitful communication. The loan originator communicated what they thought was accurate,but unintentionally . There was neither malice nor intent to deceive in any way. We will take back this information to our sales team to ensure more training is provided in this area.
Please know our employees would never intentionally put any customers financial stability at risk. It is not how our company conducts business. There was no deception meant here, however, we are disappointed to hear of your experience, as we pride ourselves in providing all our customers with a smooth transaction and excellent service. Will never do business with again! Lakeview inherited my VA mortgage during a refinance, for which I truly never encountered any issues with billing or their handling of my documents; I did find it truly difficult to get someone to answer phone lines when I needed an escrow questioned answered. Here's my issue for which I'll never seek their services again: I recently sold the home mentioned above and initiated a pre-qualification loan for a very small mortgage (I am putting down over 80% in cash). After receiving what they termed their "best rates for repeat customers", I immediately shopped them against a local mortgage lender. Without depicting/boring you with the exact details, suffice it to say they were attempting to have me pay over $2.4k (buy-down) for the exact same 30-year fixed VA interest rate my local lender was offering at no cost. My closing costs with Lakeview on a $115k loan was going to be just over $8k; with my local lender, I'm receiving a credit at closing of $185. Truly an unethical company, should not be licensed to issue home mortgages.Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC

Their loss mitigation departments refused to send over information for Texas haf mortgage assistance program. They lied and said my loan was in a breach of status and that *** never reached out to them. They offered a partial claim and provided false information to get me to take the partial claim offer from them instead of the haf state assistance. I escalated this issue and received a generic response about their systems being down around November 16 and for haf to resend the request.Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC

Horrible company! I've had multiple loan buy outs and this is the worst experience I've ever had. ISet up payment method and it keeps getting reversed. I called and went through the whole process again with an associate and recently those payments were also reversed after I was told everything went through but it would take a couple of days to come out of my account. 2 weeks later they finally attempted and it was reversed again. I have been with this company over 2 years, I've never had a problem with them until this data breach. My personal info was stolen. I made my December AND January payments on time and the company claimed that although I made both payments on time they could not detect money in my account to fulfil the payment total. I have never paid late and explained this to *****, the customer service rep, on the phone. He stated again that they couldn't detect money in my account and that not only would I owe them late fees but also backchecking fees. I am just starting a new job and these people are making my life way harder by not doing the minimum. He would not budge on the late fees even though he could see I paid on time. I have had a mortgage on whatever home I lived in at the time for over 30 years...at least 6 different mortgage companies over that 6 years. I have NEVER (and do mean never) had a problem until a recent second home purchase through Lakeview * which immediately turned into LoanCare. I also have a mortgage on my primary home that was recently moved from **************** to Lakeview. In the past two months I have had nothing but trouble with both mortgages. The primary mortgage, for some reason, paid the insurance for my secondary home (which is through a different company and is located in a different state). When speaking to the Lakeview/**************** person (they interchange who they identify as working for during a single phone call), they admitted they just pay bills without looking to see if the property is even the correct one. My insurance for primary home had already been paid for the year in May * shouldn't that have alerted someone that there was an issue? I would have thought so, but no...money was returned to the escrow (a whole other story) but they still have not done the escrow re*analysis they told me they would which has bumped my escrow payment up unnecessarily. Then there's the property taxes on my secondary home (due 11/30/2023) that still have not been paid by LoanCare/Lakeview after several phone calls and being assured "there's a work order in" * first contact about this issue was made on 11/16/2023 * that's over a 90 day "work order" folks! Avoid this company! Just trying to get through the automated phone line will give you a headache; getting a hold of an actual person who can solve an issue is impossible.Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC
