    Moving a nearly 7-foot-tall piano through the little corridor was a huge difficulty. But the movers of International Van Lines did it amazingly. Inspiring!

    International Van Lines misdirected 3 cartons of personal items,including my husbands memorial flag presented to me at his funeral. Other items lost were unique art works. They dismissed my request to investigate where those boxes were misdirected and told me to file a claim. I said I would follow up with the customers on both sides of my delivery to see if I could find my lost boxes, but they dismissed me. They just Want Me to file for a claim. They are indifferent to their responsibility. The protections of the moving process are not in Your favor so beware of glowing reports!!!

    This not an entirely accurate review. It is true that some items went missing in transit that were in boxes that were (self) packed by shipper,so the carrier of course has no idea of content or condition of the items. IVL is extremely sorry that at times in the transportation industry an item or items can be lost in-transit. But Our *************** contacted the carrier in November,and they advised us that they were in communication with the shipper and advised the shipper that unfortunately they were unable to locate the items. In follow-up, the carrier also advised our ***************. that they sent the shipper their company's claim instructions on Friday November 11, 22, 2022. Once again, we are very sorry that this occurred, but at this juncture there is nothing further IVL can assist with, the shipper must go through the claims process with the carrier. again,  Thank you

    Run far away from IVL. They tell you what you want to hear and do not deliver on their verbal promises. Safety is not a priority and they put their employees at risk when removing items from high walls in my home (they did not have a ladder and I had to insist one be used). I asked them to pack only 2 pieces of valuable glassware; one was damaged and the other never arrived at my home. They did not pack my LCD TV appropriately and it arrived in many pieces, requiring replacement. I have too many stories to include in this post - but please use another company - this one did not deliver.

    They were honest to the point and reasonable. They were so kind and understood our frustrations about moving and our worry about infecting our children having people we do not know in our house. They worked with everything we asked. Highly recommended! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.

    Please DO NOT USE THIS COMANY!!!! Read the one star reviews and take heed. They did not do a video call to review my shipment like other companies did. They under bid and gave me a binding contract. Then they subcontracted out the job and when the crew arrived the binding cost went up over $3,000.00. It was the old bait and switch. I was moving from ********** to Georgia and I had to get out of the residence that day. It was a Saturday and when I asked to speak to someone in International Van Lines upper management they claimed they couldnt find anyone and I was charged for delaying the shipment. They pretended they were going to get to the bottom of the billing discrepancy but of course once the shipment was delivered and paid in full by postal money order which they insisted on all communication stopped. This company ***** but I was the sucker. Do yourself a big favor and DO NOT USE them.
