On April 12, 2023, a hot tub cover was purchased from Florida Spa Covers for $522.16 (Order #*****). An email was received on May 2, 2023 that the order was being processed. Many attempts to contact the company via email and telephone calls were unsuccessful. No contact has been made to date.Initial Complaint

On April 18, 2023 I purchased a hot in cover, order number 4xxx6. Prior to my order online, I called and spoke to **** in Sales who reported he wouldnt spend the extra money on expedited shipping/processing because it usually takes 3.5-4.5 for a customer to get their cover once the order is placed. **** also took time to explain how the problem isnt with the manufacturing but with the shipping because the trucks like to take them when they have a full load/truck. I called around mid May and a gentleman answered the phone assuring me my cover would be shipped late May.. I am waiting patiently for this cover to be delivered. I have left several voicemails on their sales and customer services lines. I have also emailed sales@floridaspacovers multiple times and lastly I reached out on the contact us tab on their webpage. As of today, no response has been provided by Florida Spa Covers. The payment has already even taken for my order. I am looking for an explanation regarding the status of my order. If my order cannot be fulfilled, then I am definitely seeking a full refund without penalty. Please advise!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I received an email just indicating a refund. There was no reason given unlike what Florida Spa Covers claimed. Most importantly the reason why I am rejecting this response is because I am still waiting for a refund to be posted on my PayPal account. I called PayPal on June 20, *************************************************************************** before June 28, 2023. Of note, I received a refund notification on June 19, 2023 around 10:16 pm EST. Today is June 28, 2023 and I have yet to see my refund. I am currently waiting for PayPal to complete a refund track in hopes to locate my refund.

I purchased a replacement spa cover in March, 2023. It was delivered on April 24. The cardboard box had two large rips and the spa covered was punctured in these two locations. I did not sign for the delivery as required, despite being home all that day.I was told by Florida Spa Covers to file a complaint with their shipper, YMC Freight. I did so and the claim was denied three times, stating that their driver reported no damage to the package, despite my photos clearly showing the container was ripped.I have repeated attempted to contact Florida Spa Covered by voicemail and on-line contact form and have received no response whatsoever.Initial Complaint

Order placed with Florida spa covers on (4/6/23)- Email confirmation recieved. Production was supposed to start 24 hr after order recieved. Website says 3.5-4.5 weeks production. 3 weeks after order we receive another email asking if we want to change our order. We did not reply as we did not want a change to original order. ON (5/2/23) email received saying our order finally in production for the hot tub cover. We have emailed the company on (5/3/23) and (6/4/23) asking when we should expect the cover to be done or shipped - the company has NOT responded. We have called several times over the past month and left voicemails - again no response from the company. We Paid $408 dollars up front. The website threatens a $150 cancellation fee. I refuse to pay another $150 not knowing if I'll even get money back. I need a response from them if we are going to recieve this cover and when or I would like my money back in full with out paying any cancellation fee- I feel this may be a scam! Ordered online April 23rd, My card was charged the full amount $349.00 the next day. Web sire says 3-1/2 to 5 weeks for delivery. It is June 6th . Thought I would send an e-mail ( **** ) just to get a status. No reply. I was out of town the rest of May and returned 6-2-23. thouhgt I would call them. It went right to a voice mail. I left a message , and again no response. I've called every day since and get zero response ( no e-mail nor phone calls.) I simply want the cover. I would have never ordered one had I seen all the complaints filed with the BBB . I know my credit card company can reverse the charges. I want to avoid that and get the **** cover.Customer Answer

I placed an order online for a spa cover from Florida Spa covers on April 7 2023. Order# ***** for $419.00.I received the order confirmation email which states production time is 3.5 to 4.5 weeks. On May 2, I received an email that my order was in production. On May 3, I received an email stating "Your order will ship out By May 15th-18th. ***** hours late you will receive tracking information and delivery instructions."I have not heard anything since then, despite calling and emailing multiple times.I would either like to receive the spa cover I ordered or get a full refund.Initial Complaint

I paid $546 for a custom cover and it was received damaged. I rejected delivery as they advised and have been trying to contact them for weeks about the replacement or just to credit my payment. My complaint is very similar-closer to exactly-like the complaints of others! I ordered a cover on April 29,2023, they immediately took the money, 3.5-4.5 weeks. Time goes by and I emailed and called-you always have to leave a message.more time goes by-I call and email again. I had already received the email saying it was in production and the order could not be canceled. More time goes by& I called daily and sent emails and finally received a response saying it would be shipped between May 19-23,2023 or sooner, and I would receive a call 24 hours after it shipped to schedule delivery! Obviously we have not received it, I called on the 25th and left another voicemail and sent a email, didnt hear anything, called again on May 30th, left another voicemail message! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!Sales doesnt answer, customer service doesnt answer! This place should be shut down!
